“Jordan took really good care of our dog. My dog has a missing toe and needs to wear a boot and Jordan was very careful about that before he took him on a nice neighborhood walk.”
“Mathew did a fantastic job! Before his first walk with Aslan he took the time to come over to our house for a meet & greet. He brought a notebook to write down any instructions I gave him. On the day of the walk he checked in with me and left a very detailed report card with a lot of photos! I’d recommend Mathew to a friend and will definitely book him again!”

“Felicia has been walking Mocha regularly for a few weeks now and we have nothing but glowing reviews! She is an excellent communicator and very in tune with our Mocha and building trust with a nervous pup. Recently, our dog has been recovering from an injury and Felicia has done such a great job adjusting her activities with Mocha to fit her needs right now 😊”

About: I've loved animals ever since I was a small kid. I grew up raising 3 rats, 3 cats, and a Great Pyrenees. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs, as well as taking care of hamsters and cats while their owners were on vacation. I currently have no pets due to my building's rules, so I'd take any excuse to help take care of a fluffy creature. Currently working a reduced amount with most of it being from home, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Free/flexible most hours, besides evening on the weekends(and even then, I could potentially work something out with enough time). I enjoy long walks and exercise, and love playing with animals, so I'm your guy if your dog needs a long walk or an hour of nothing but fetch. I grew up walking a stubborn 100+ lb. dog, so I know how to control them if they get a little too excited sometimes.
“Kai took great care of my 2 dogs! Took them on a nice long walk, and made sure they had everything they needed. Also, he was able to book on very short notice! Would definitely book another walk with Kai for next time.”

“Rebecca is amazing! Our pups (one who is very selective) got along with her right away. She watched our pups while we were away and we couldn’t have asked for a better person. We’ll be sure to book her for many more walks as she took care of our pups special needs and communicated quickly and thoroughly.”

About: I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes, and personality. I have trained puppies before (and even my cat can do tricks) as well have helped care for elderly pets who need extra attention. I am very skilled at reading animal body language and finding the right way to connect with each unique furry friend. My schedule is very open! I currently see clients on Tuesday afternoons/evenings for an internship, but otherwise my schedule is open and flexible. There are occasional dates where I have other obligations, but I generally am able to work with most schedules. NOTE: Not looking to house sit for longer than 3 days at a time. I am very respectful of the spaces of others, and aim to leave no trace other than my care for your pets. I am training to be a therapist/counselor, so I very much understand how fundamental mutual trust, boundaries, and communication are in a healthy working relationship and take that extremely seriously regardless of what service I am providing.

About: I grew up in a bustling home with a Pomeranian mix, an Aussie, and two cats. I have fostered dogs and some experience with reactivity training. I have experience pet sitting for family. I recently moved to Portland after graduating college, so I am pretty flexible when it comes to availability and am welcoming any breaks from the job application process. I am always alert to the pup and our surrounds to catch any hiccups before they might happen. In past dog training sessions, I learned a lot of skills like safety holds and how to swiftly redirect a dog.
“My dog Nesta loves her walks with Kayla! She’s reliable and so kind to my girl while I’m at work. I will absolutely keep using her as our dog walker, so long as she’ll have us 💗🐕🐾”

“Sarah was great— very communicative all the way through the job, timely and super easy to work with! I hope she can care for my pup in the future and would 💯 book again.”

“Ian did a terrific job walking our labs 3 times a day while we were out of town. We came home to find no messes in the house and happy dogs! We will definitely use Ian again!”

About: Rover doesn’t allow for preferred names, but I go by the name Zael rather than Danika. I am an avid world traveler, and recently got back from a six month trip abroad. The aspect of home I missed the most was, of course, my dog Luna. I would constantly ask my family for pictures and updates, and was always concerned about her well being. Because of this, I completely understand where an owner is coming from when they want a dog sitter: someone compassionate and responsible, but also someone who can keep your pet happy and entertained. So whether you’re traveling for work or leisure, you know your pet will be in good hands. Plus I’ll take lots of pictures! I have plenty of experience pet sitting and baby sitting, and have always lived in a house with a large dog, so I consider myself ready for anything. I am confident I will be able to give your pet and your home the care they need. I usually have full availability during the week and weekend. I will be starting college in Portland in the winter, but until then pet sitting is my one true calling. When pet sitting in your home I will ensure your dog is well entertained and well cuddled (to their liking, of course). My dog and I love to rough house and have zoomies in the backyard, but I will tailor my play style to whatever your dog prefers! As long as there’s space, I can throw a ball until my arm falls off. Picky dogs with complicated schedules are loved as well, and with clear instructions I’ll make sure every rule is followed and your home is taken care of to the same extent as your pet.

“ Jess is Sylvie's new dog walker & walks her twice/week. Jess has been very open and receptive to information about Sylvie's care and routine. I appreciate the daily reports that Jess sends & the pictures are great! ”

“Mark was fantastic with Oso and was good at being firm but gentle. Oso seemed happy and pleasantly tired! Definitely would have Mark walk him again and would recommend Mark!”

Violet is the sweetest! My pup is unusually anxious right now, as we're new to Portland. But Violet met Heidi where she was at-- letting her sit, sniff, or walk at her own pace, and was just so considerate. Heidi came back home a happy, tail-wagging girl! And so we've already booked Violet for future dates. 10/10 can easily recommend!!

Alexander came for a first solo walk with our 65 lb dog-reactive girl, and reported that everything went well! We were sent a lot of great pictures. At the meet-and-greet, Alexander really listened and absorbed all the mitigation strategies that we have for the leash reactivity (even taking notes!). Thank you, Alexander!

Scout loves Mathew! And she doesn't warm up to strangers easily. He asked thoughtful, detailed questions when we first met that demonstrated he was highly experienced and proactive. I'm grateful I found him and strongly recommend him to anyone looking for reliable, experience help.

We couldn't be happier with the care our pets received! Yana took amazing care of our two dogs and our African Grey parrot for four days while we were away. We received regular updates and photos and it was obvious that my pets were loved, well cared for, and comfortable the entire time. I would highly recommend Yana to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable pet sitter. We'll definitely be booking again.
