About: When I was 12 I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society caring for and walking dogs of all ages and behavioral levels. I volunteered at the OHS until I turned 18 when I began working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, as well as pet-sitting. As a dog handler I spent time 1:1 time with dogs, distributing medication, and moderating large groups. Currently, I take many of those same dogs on weekly hikes, adventures, dog walks and work on basic obedience. As a dog owner myself, I participate in dog sports, service dog training and canine conditioning with my young dog and senior dog. Additionally, I am in the process of becoming a certified dog training (CPDT-KA) and certified behavioral adjustment trainer (CBATI-KA). I work a flexible part-time job, allowing me the time to provide 1:1 fun and intentional care of your pet, that works for you and your schedule. I will confidently and responsibly listen to and take action to provide the support both you and your pet(s) need. Whether it is walks, play, adventures, potty breaks, medication or basic training, I am here for you and your pet.

About: I've cared for pets for years. I'm happy to treat your pets with the love they deserve. I'm ready to spend time with your loved ones through walks, playtime and general visits. I'm happy to provide you with check ins. I have plenty of time to care for your pets. My schedule is flexible and I'm open to working with you to find a helpful time to provide care. About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born, always finding a comfort in them and I think them in me. I am very patient and calm, and I understand how to handle high maintenance pets. I am currently living at my childhood home working odd jobs while I save up cash to travel and eventually move to San Francisco. I have a very flexible schedule with little other commitments right now. My childhood dog recently passed on so I am missing the animal life a bit. I've spent 14 years caring for dogs of every size and temperament — from high-energy puppies who need structure to older dogs who just want a calm, steady presence. I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, oral medication, leash walks, and playtime, and I treat every dog in my care like my own. Reliable, patient, and genuinely happiest with a dog by my side.

About: As a dog owner of my own for 8 years and growing up with pets, I know how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets like they’re family. Thats me! I will care for your animals like they are my own and will always strive to give them a positive encounter. I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies (around 3 weeks old and up). I know sometimes extra care is needed and will always prioritize their comfort and well being. Additionally, I am good with shy and/or skittish dogs and know how to help them feel safe while showing them I am trustworthy and gentle. My experience with cats is about 10 years. I am currently in school which helps my schedule be decently flexible. Most of my classes are online so I can be home with dogs the majority of the day! My dog, Sage, is a thriving child of divorce and is with her Dad until August. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced area in the condo units where I live. Condo is single story. There are several parks close by, including the Alberta Park Dog Off Leash Area which is not fenced. If you are comfortable and your dog has good recall to me, I can take your dog there, too. If they prefer to be leashed the whole time, other parks are close and we will have just as much fun! If I am picking your dog up to walk and return to your home, I will take the utmost care to be gentle and respectful of your animal and home. It can be strange for animals to have someone new in their space and I will make sure they know I am a safe person. If pet parents are amenable, I usually have small training treats I give my dog on walks and can do the same for your dog! I have experience ranging from very young puppies to senior dogs as well as post surgery care.

About: I've lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I've devoted a lot of time providing the care they need, from walks to cleaning the litter box. I've also cared for aging dogs and helping them take their medication. I've always felt sensitive to pet needs and love to go above and beyond in their care, giving them the attention they deserve and want. I'm working very few hours over the summer so I can be very flexible and devote consist time daily for pets. There's only about 10 hours of the week that I am unavailable. I am student currently so I am very good at keeping routines and integrating care into my day-to-day life. I can stop by and devote a couple hours to your pet focusing my attention on them. I believe pets are social creatures and need compassion in that form. Safety is my top priority and I will ensure your pet is treated well. I am also very respectful of other's spaces and will keep things clean and leave the home as I found it.
