“My dog is a total baby and needs someone who is patient with her so I’ve been very picky with who can walk her. Alyssa was the perfect match, super accommodating with my schedule as well which was so nice. Cannot recommend her enough!”

“Lyon responded quickly when sprained my ankle (while walking my dog ?) and could not manage the remainder of her walks for the day. ! Lyon was so kind and patient, great with my pup and I am so grateful.”

“Jenni is great. She has helped us get our high energy dog out for walks while we are at work. She is patient with our little pup, and he always seems happy on days they walk. She always takes great pictures of our dog, and is very communicative about what is going on with our dog. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Deanna is an incredible dog whisperer:) Lola absolutely loves spending time with her! I highly recommend 🙂 I’ve always appreciated Deanna’s sharp communication and photo updates. Book her today! :)”

“Kelley is amazing! She was so kind to me, easy-going, punctual, super honest and seemed to enjoy her time with Hazel, my rambunctious 8-month old lab! I am excited to work with Kelley again for dog walks and also looking forward to having Hazel board with Kelley some day too!”
“Thank you Chelsea for being so great and loving with my weens. They already love walking with you. What a savage you are juggling three dogs while simultaneously pushing through a torrential downpour of rain. You are amazing!”

“Dana has been flexible, understanding, and consistent. She put in the time (and the treats) to win over my shy dog in a meet-and-greet, and she is great at knowing how to avoid reactive dogs’ triggers! I’m happy to know my pups are in good hands!”

About: I love pets. I have experience caring for cats and small dogs, including walks. At home, I am good with exercise and play, and can brush if the pet is agreeable. I look out for animal body and vocal language and behavior changes. I will stick to your feeding schedule and training rules and share as many or as few photos as you like. I am available weekdays and weekends 8am-8pm. I set my own schedule and have my own transportation, allowing me to prioritize availability for pet care. At home I check essentials including food, water, and catbox or potty breaks regularly and offer attention and play, lap time, or space as needed.
“Gabriela had been walking our dog on the week days for a month and I would recommend her for anyone’s pet needs! But especially for someone with an active dog, like ours. Gabriela always goes over and beyond any dog walker we have ever had. Our dog gets to go on long walks and even to the neighborhood park. Beyond that, Gabriela is reliable and nice. But most importantly we can tell that she genuinely cares for our pup!”

About: Having a dog myself, I know how hard it is when you need to leave, so I treat that responsibility seriously! What sets me apart is the level of attention and presence I give to every dog. I don’t juggle a packed schedule or treat pet care as something to squeeze in. I’m genuinely attentive throughout the day and focused on each dog’s comfort, routine, and emotional well-being. I’m patient, observant, and quick to notice changes in behavior or needs. I’m comfortable following detailed instructions, caring for young puppies, and supporting them as they adjust to routines. My goal isn’t just to meet expectations, but to make both you and your dog feel completely at ease. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine and I structure my day around making sure dogs get consistent attention, bathroom breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of affection. I’m home enough to be present and attentive, and I enjoy building my schedule around a dog’s needs and routine. Whether your dog is more energetic or more laid-back, I will make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and never ignored. I live in a dog friendly apartment building with plenty of nearby parks and walking trails, which means lots of opportunities for walks, sniffing, and mental stimulation throughout the day. While I don’t have a private fenced yard, there is a large fenced dog park close by for safe, enclosed play and lots of fetch. I’m very mindful of each dog’s comfort level and tailor outdoor time to what helps them feel happiest. My goal is for you to leave knowing your dog is in caring, capable hands and to come back to a happy, relaxed pup.
About: Hello! I’m Katrina and I’m excited to meet you and your furkid(s)! I’ve been a petsitter for 4 years and receive joy knowing I’m giving you peace of mind while also providing excellent care and love to your pet. As a pet owner I understand how important it is to leave your pet with a responsible, caring individual who will keep up with their daily needs, while throwing in lots of extra pats on the head. I enjoy meeting new dogs and seeing the differences in their quirks and personalities. I always make sure to check in daily with a doggie update and photo of them enjoying themselves with me. You can rest assure that be it their diet, medical or just regular routine, your instructions will be followed to a T. Rest assured if your dog starts to miss you I will just give them that much more love, and perhaps and Eskimo kiss or two. I’m currently working part time while pursuing a career as a dog photographer. My availability is flexible and I’m free evenings, weekends and weekdays depending on the time. I care for pets in their parents homes in the way their parents have instructed that the pet be cared for. I can watch your pet as they roam your home or keep them in their crates if you prefer.
About: I have had dogs or taken care of dogs my whole life. I would walk my neighbors dogs. I would gladly take care of them if needed. I am currently available any day or time. I am retired and want to fill my days taking care of dogs and any other animal. I prefer to stay at your home to care for your pets since they are comfortable there. I have transportation and am happy to meet with your animals before I am hired.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. I’m incredibly empathetic toward animals (I don’t even kill bugs!), so every pet in my care is treated with gentleness, patience, and genuine love. The dogs in my photos are my beloved old pups (Milo the Golden Retriever and Yoshi the Shih Tzu) Milo was 8wks when I got him and Yoshi was 5wks — I don’t currently have any dogs, but I do have two friendly cats at home. Lucy my tiny little black cat🖤 and Foggy my orange menace 🧡 (both rescues) I have hands-on experience caring for and training my own dogs over the years, from large breeds like Dobermans to small breeds like Shih Tzus. I’ve also had cats my entire life so growing up half my cats were kitties I found, some even needing bottle feeding. I'm comfortable with all things feline — from playful kittens to independent seniors. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve cared for chickens, birds, and many other kinds of pets throughout my life. I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. With me, your pet won’t just be watched — they’ll be cared for like family. 💛 Hiii! You like my name? Thanks! I got it for my birthday ! Jk it’s long😒 I know so I just go by Mari (pronounced Maury) As you see being a stand up comedian isn’t my calling so here I am 🥲 I’m a stay-at-home mom with lots of free time and even more love to give your fur babies! I currently live in Vancouver, Being home most of the day means I can give your pet plenty of attention, care, and one-on-one time. I’m available for walks and drop-ins on weekdays from 7am–4pm and Sundays from 7am–1pm, with flexibility whenever possible to help fit your schedule (I remember how hard it was finding doggy daycare when I had my pups and ended up taking them to work with me) Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, a potty break, or extra cuddles, I’m always happy to help! While I currently live in an apartment with a spacious balcony, please know that your pup won’t be cooped up inside all day! We will spend much time out exploring, enjoying fresh air, and getting in plenty of movement and mental stimulation. Walks, sniff breaks, and outdoor adventures are very important to me in order to keep a pup happy and healthy! I’d love to be your fur baby’s (and yours!) new friend and help make their day (also yours!😌) a little brighter!✨🐾🩷 I unfortunately don’t own a house and currently live in a third-floor apartment with a big back balcony, perfect for some fresh-air fun! I live near lots of parks and walking trails so being stuck inside my home will definitely not be an option.I have two friendly cats who can be tucked away if needed. My kiddos (ages 8–17) may occasionally be around (no school days) but they all love animals as much as I do and know how to respect boundaries, especially with pets who are a little skittish around kids.I love sharing updates! Expect lots of cute photos and videos so you can see your fur baby’s enjoying every walk, play session, and cuddle break.📸 Your fur baby's safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities — they’ll get plenty of love, cuddles, and care, and will feel right at home!🩷
Sunderland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Sam is a STAR! So warm, organized, and great with our pup. I think our dog is now more excited to see Sam than he is so see us for a walk. He responds quickly and is very timely. Such a relief to find such a responsible and wonderful dog sitter and walker. Highly recommend booking him!

Kelley is amazing! She was so kind to me, easy-going, punctual, super honest and seemed to enjoy her time with Hazel, my rambunctious 8-month old lab! I am excited to work with Kelley again for dog walks and also looking forward to having Hazel board with Kelley some day too!
Elyzabeth is so flexible and accommodating. I needed to switch some things around and Elyzabeth was willing to cancel on her end to avoid an inconvenience on my end. This generated a message on her account stating that she canceled a booking within the 24 hour period. I want to clarify that she did not really do that. Elyzabeth is very reliable.

I had a great experience with Asami. She stepped in to help on short notice and did an amazing job with our puppy. He came back from his walks happy and thoroughly worn out, which was exactly what he needed. She was friendly, on-time, and clearly loves pups. I’m looking forward to booking with her again!
