Not long after, I adopted two very cuddly cats while volunteering at a cat shelter. I look forward to meeting you and your animal companion! 🐾 I typically work 9a-5p Saturday-Tuesdays, with availability before or after those hours and open anytime Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. There's some flexibility with this schedule too so if there are needs outside what is listed please reach out and we can see if other hours would work too! When caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home, my priority is helping them feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I start by learning about each pet’s habits, personality, and needs... feeding schedules, exercise routines, favorite toys, medications if needed, and anything that helps them feel secure. Some pets want lots of playtime and stimulation, while others prefer calm companionship, and I adapt my care to what makes them happiest. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the space and the pet’s routine so things feel familiar while you’re away. For pets staying with me, I create a calm, cozy environment with plenty of attention, affection, and supervised play. I also believe communication is really important, so I send regular photo updates and messages so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is always for you to come home to a happy, relaxed pet who felt well cared for the entire time. 🐾

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was little. I’ve had experience doing jobs dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, cat sitting, and cat boarding since I was 12. I love animals and animals tend to love me too! I am currently stay-at-home, looking for a remote job so I can continue looking after my pets and hopefully yours. I am flexible and available on weekends. I have occasional trips home to see my family, but other than that I don’t travel that much. Every pet has its own personality and my care tends to match that, as well as the pets needs. One of the dogs I used to walk loved having a chance to sprint in circles over and over. I tailored her walks to go to a nearby, dog-friendly, fenced in park so she could get out all her wiggles before we walked back home.

I am available for drop-in visits and walks. When visiting a pet in your home, I am very respectful of your space and focus on making sure your pet is taken care of. I check all food and water bowls, making sure they’re clean, making sure the environment is still safe how you left it, and giving them any needed enrichment like play time, cuddles, walks, etc that you’ve outlined.
