I grew up surrounded by animals.. chickens, squirrels, birds, cats, dogs, and even horses to name a few.. so moving into the city and suddenly not having a whole animal crew around me was quite a shock. Not long after, I adopted two very cuddly cats while volunteering at a cat shelter. I look forward to meeting you and your animal companion! 🐾 I typically work 9a-5p Saturday-Tuesdays, with availability before or after those hours and open anytime Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. There's some flexibility with this schedule too so if there are needs outside what is listed please reach out and we can see if other hours would work too! When caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home, my priority is helping them feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I start by learning about each pet’s habits, personality, and needs... feeding schedules, exercise routines, favorite toys, medications if needed, and anything that helps them feel secure. Some pets want lots of playtime and stimulation, while others prefer calm companionship, and I adapt my care to what makes them happiest. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the space and the pet’s routine so things feel familiar while you’re away. For pets staying with me, I create a calm, cozy environment with plenty of attention, affection, and supervised play. I also believe communication is really important, so I send regular photo updates and messages so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is always for you to come home to a happy, relaxed pet who felt well cared for the entire time. 🐾

About: Growing up I always had animals, especially dogs and cats! I absolutely adored each and every one. I love animals of all sizes, and treat mine like my children. I will give your baby all the attention, snuggles, and love they want. I have many years of experience in caring for dogs and cats, and would love to spoil and care for yours just as I do mine! :) I work through out the week so during that time I have limited availability but I am flexible for drop-in’s most evenings and early mornings. I am completely available Friday through Sunday. I will keep a close eye on your baby and make sure to the best of my ability they’re safe at all times! If you have a certain schedule or routine for your babe I am happy to keep them on that as well. For boarding, I don’t have a yard at my apartment but have easy access to trails/parks for walks and frequent potty breaks!

About: From when I was born until age eighteen, my family kept dogs in the home. For some years, we had six dogs in the house at the same time, and it took everybody to make sure they were well taken care of. Later in life, my family and friends continue to rely on me for overnight and drop-in pet care. I still miss my dogs terribly, and always take the opportunity for some dog time. I work part time, so my availability is: Tue-Fri: 10am to midnight Sat-Mon: 10am to 3pm This is just a baseline schedule and I may have availability outside these hours. I serve Hosford, Buckman, Lloyd, Old Town, Pearl, Knob Hill, Downtown, South Waterfront and other close in neighborhoods depending on your exact location I live in a pet free apartment, so I currently offer dog walking (or cat walking!) and drop-in care/playtime. I also recognize it takes a lot of trust to let someone into your home, which is why I offer a free meet and greet to determine if I'm a good fit for you and your pet.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats since I was little. I’ve had experience doing jobs dog sitting, dog walking, dog boarding, cat sitting, and cat boarding since I was 12. I love animals and animals tend to love me too! I am currently stay-at-home, looking for a remote job so I can continue looking after my pets and hopefully yours. I am flexible and available on weekends. I have occasional trips home to see my family, but other than that I don’t travel that much. Every pet has its own personality and my care tends to match that, as well as the pets needs. One of the dogs I used to walk loved having a chance to sprint in circles over and over. I tailored her walks to go to a nearby, dog-friendly, fenced in park so she could get out all her wiggles before we walked back home.

About: Hi! My name’s Camryn, but most people call me Cami. Like the title says- I’m here to become your pet’s new best friend. I’m a professional, reliable, and responsible caretaker. I have multiple years’ experience watching dogs of all sizes, along with cats. My current lifestyle isn’t suitable for a pet of my own, so I’m here to love your pets like they’re mine in the meantime! Rover is simply my outlet. My 9-5 keeps me busy and pays my bills, but pet sitting brings me joy, keeps me active, and pays for my shopping addiction 😉 Questions? Interested in setting up a meet & greet? Don’t hesitate to reach out! I typically work 8-5 Monday through Friday and fully in-person (in SE Portland). For any Friday sits, I’m typically not available until after 5 pm. I’m located near multiple parks and am in a very walkable neighborhood, so I can help your pup burn off some energy by going for a walk or run with them. There’s LOTS of dogs in my neighborhood and apartment complex, so in-home boarding likely wouldn’t be a good fit for reactive dogs.

Nearly all my friends have cats and I have lots of experience pet-sitting for many of them. I love spending time around animals and would love to take care of yours! I have a full-time 8-5 job, but do have flexibility within my week. I wfh at least one day a week - sometimes more. Evenings and weekends are usually super open for me! I also have a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I have a crate that can be used if your pup likes a place to settle. My furniture is my dogs furniture and it would be the same for your furry friend too! I also have an animal loving roommate - so double the love.
