About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I've been taking care of our family dogs for over 5 years - walking, feeding, giving medicine and overnights when my family is out of town. About: I have cared for energetic puppies to old man dogs, kittens to old lady cats, rabbits, I have rescued lots of pets that needed special care, I've taken care of aquariums. Whatever care your pets need, chances are I've done something similar at least. I am a student with class on Wednesdays, and I I am available the rest of the week. I have a child, so I'm not available to spend nights away from home. I've had a lot of pets and I understand that every pet is different. I have a lot of time to really spend caring for your pet in the ways you request, whether it's lots of walks to the park, sitting at home getting pets and attention, administering medications. I'm very flexible and understanding to whatever your furry friends needs are.

About: I’ve helped raised my yellow Labrador since he was a puppy and have two bunnies. I have helped with training, medical support (medication and following vets orders). I work from home and can be able to stay with your dog at home. I’m available most days and hours due to my flexibility at work. I treat my dog and animals like part of my family. I will make sure that I follow all of the clients specific regimens (feeding schedule) and other important dog specific routines. It is very important to me that the dog is well cared for.
