About: Pets have always been a part of my life, and I pride myself on treating others' animals with the same tenderness and attention that I give my own pets. I am gentle and intuitive friendly human to all critters, and love dogs and cats equally. I pay attention to the details in terms of the animals needs and signals and am happy to communicate anything that seems odd or that I am unsure about. I am an educator on summer break and have great availability. There will be a week here or there when I am helping at school, but otherwise my schedule is wide open. I take great care to follow owner instructions. I make a point to connect with pets do matter how brief a visit is. Kindness, trust, and communication are at the top of my list. This includes keeping your house and pet secure as I am coming and going.

I have a senior cat with hyperthyroidism, and I had been struggling to make arrangements for her while I was out of town for a week, so my request to Madeline was fairly last-minute. She was quick to respond and arrange a meet-and-greet. My cat requires twice-daily applications of medicine, which is a tall order, but Madeline never missed a drop-in. My cat is not comfortable around strangers, so I was impressed to get a Rover Card showing her allowing Madeline to pet her about halfway through my trip! I came home a week later to a happy, healthy cat.”

About: I have experience with caring for pets, especially when it comes to senior care, thanks to my own two cats who I had from early childhood to my early adult years. I played with them, fed and cleaned them, and took great care of them when they both reached old age. This does not mean I only have experience caring for cats though, as I have spent time with and would help care for the dogs of my friends and neighbors, and have a love for animals in general, researching and learning facts about many different species. I am a college student who is off for the summer, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I would be available from Sunday to Thursday in the mornings and the afternoons. I would make sure that all the doors are locked and that anything that could pose as a danger to the pet would be kept out of their sight.

“ChristyLynn was able to accommodate a last minute drop in request. She was great with the dogs, they sense right away if someone is a dog person and she definitely is. She asked if it was ok for her girls to come for an evening visit and the dogs loved that. Great communication and appreciated the pics. Will definitely use her again.”

About: I’ve raised two puppies from 9 weeks old, and know how important socialization, positive training, exercise, and good pets. I’ve been a neighborhood dog walker since middle school, and have experience with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have successfully house trained, crate trained, and recall trained a few dogs in my time, but I love spending time with dogs however they need, whether that’s training, walks, or just getting some good pets. I’m a student, so pet care like walking or smaller amounts of time works for me most weekdays, and longer per care like overnights is best for weekends. I mostly want to take of your dog according to your needs and your dogs needs. If your dog needs to be let out regularly, needs to be crated, requires lots of exercise or play, or needs specific training elements, Im happy to provide all of that. For dogs of appropriate ability, I really enjoy long walks around the neighborhood or nearby parks.
