About: My family members, who is a veterinarian trained me in providing foster care for numerous types of animals a few years ago. My expense ranges from bottle feeding, administering medications and vaccines, taking vital and watching weight for abandoned puppies and kittens to members a grown dogs behavior or assist in there medical recovery. As I no longer do foster care now, my experience has prepared me on how to care for pets with different needs. I have a lot of free time 7 days a week. My 1 year old german shepherd/labrador husky mix who is on a routine and is crate trained while my 3 almost 4 year old toddler is at preschool 9 hours a day M-F, I walk her to school and back but that is my only set/regular outing other going on walks and outside plah with my hyper but very loving and sweet Puppy Lily. My home is very dog friendly and I also use gates to devide the rooms into play areas for individual needs. For example I might have two young hyper in one room with a tall gate devider and a senior dog in another room with it's own area.

“Jeremy and Melanie were great looking after my Jarvis for a few days this week while I went into the office, providing updates and photos throughout the day. Would definitely rebook with them in the future. Thank you!”

“She was able to take care of my pups short notice. She provided lots of pics. I am traveling and my pups were very nervous about everything. They handled it very well and I'm sure Maggie made it easy!”

“Lisa & Brian are super nice, friendly people who kept our 3 pups for the day while we did some sightseeing on our way through Portland. They had great communication with us throughout the entire time, sent pics of the pups enjoying their yard and home. I would definitely use them again if I ever need a puppy daycare in Portland!”

“Sequoia took great care of my 1 year old Great Pyrenees puppy, providing good communication. My pup came home happy and tired from playing with her canine pals. Will book again!”

About: I have experience with reactive dogs and understand they need to feel safe and redirected when they are in a heightened state. I try to meet pets and their parents where they are. I start my dog’s day with breakfast and potty break around 7 am. I like to walk my dog around noon on my lunch break and play with him. I’m off work around 5 pm and let the dog out for a potty break again after feeding him dinner. I have a fenced yard and a medium sized dog to keep your dog company. I also have a large crate if your pet requires their own space.

“A++++ dog sitter. Trust her wholeheartedly with my dog. She gives him the personalized attention that I would give my dog. We’re very picky who we leave our dog with and she has been our now long time sitter for Brighton for short and long term stays. She is flexible, warm, and kind. Lots of video and photo updates. Highly recommend coming from someone who is extremely picky!”

About: I have often fostered rescue pups through OTAT PDX, and have taken care of many friends' pets. Different breeds and personalities. They love romping in my yard, and I can also take reactive pups to Sniffspots if they can't do walks or a park. I love all animals and would love to hang out with your fur buddy. I am currently jobhunting after a recent layoff and home most of the time. Previously, I was a FT remote worker and hope to find a similar opportunity so I can stay home with dogs! I have a fenced yard and no other pets or humans in the home (it's just me!). My home is generally pretty quiet and chill. Love taking dogs out for exercise and enrichment multiple times a day as needed.

“Bonnie is so wonderful! I’ve already recommended her to all of our dog friends. Our pup, Birdie, is a very shy girl, but Bonnie is so gentle and calm with her and she opened right up. Her home is quiet and peaceful. We got lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. I’m so thankful to have found Bonnie!!”

“Asher loves going to daycare at Savannah’s! I totally trust her and know he’s well cared for and having so much fun when I’m working or out of town. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Very very knowledgeable on dog behavior. Very patient with both me and my pup. Catherine has two lovely pups of her own to help keep yours company”

About: Hi, I’m Ava! I’ve been taking care of dogs and cats for over 12 years - everything from boarding in my home to drop-in visits for food, walks, meds, or just some love and company. I've also had pets all my life, so I'm familiar with the young and the old, the anxious and the high-energy, and the ones recovering from surgery. I love them all! I work from home (except Tuesdays for about 4 hours), so I have a flexible schedule and can often do drop-ins or even work from your house if your pet prefers not to be alone. At home, I have a sweet little dog and a very relaxed senior cat - both get along well with others. I have a big, fenced yard to romp around in and live near a nature park, which is perfect for walks! I’m experienced with puppies, senior pets, and animals with health issues or anxiety. I’m also comfortable walking reactive dogs and understand how to keep things calm and safe. I'm obsessed with my own pets, and will treat yours like family too. I’ll send lots of pictures and updates so you always know how things are going! I work from home M-F, except around 4 hours on Tuesdays, and my schedule is flexible so I can do drop-ins and walks as needed, or can work from your home if your pet needs full-time care. At my home, pets get a calm, cozy space with lots of love and attention. I stick to their normal routines - feeding, walks, playtime, and downtime. My yard is partially fenced but I have a driveway gate I can put up for extra safety. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s routine. I’ll make sure they’re well cared for, given meds if needed, and get plenty of love and company. I can also work from your home if your pet prefers not to be alone. You'll get plenty of photo updates and daily notes too!

“I showed my sister the basics to provuding foster care for the human society and she took those skills plus her love for the lost or misfit pet has exceed expectations with the volunteer work over the last 3 years. The otherwise youthanized anxious dog, to the litter of kitten she would wake up every three hours to care for,, Sarah is determined maje sure these animsls had the life pissible. Even tho she does not hold a certificate and did not learn her skills in a classroom enviorrnment, she is the best Vet Tech I have ever worked with. “Linda is a dependable, caring, and responsible pet caretaker who takes care of animals as if they were her own. She is particularly joyful taking care of dogs. She has been a wonderful pet sitter for our dog Iggy. She has a wonderful fenced in yard, with lots of room for Iggy to run around in, and she took Iggy for walks around her neighborhood to give him lots of exercise. Linda worked from home and was able to be around him a lot which was helpful for our anxious pup. Her home was tidy and seemed like a safe place for our dog to spend time. She was very communicative with how she and Iggy were spending time together and how he was adjusting. I can easily recommend Linda to watch your pet.”
