About: Grew up with pitbulls and cats in the house. I really enjoy being around them and they fit into my daily/weekly schedule extremely well. Im never away from the house for more than 4 hours and I walk for 1-3 hours everyday, I have the time to consistently walk the doggies 3-5x everyday. No dog will go without exercise when they stay with me, and if they like to be a couch potato that's ok too, I accommodate to any activity/energy level!

She met me right outside her building so we had no trouble finding her. We sat and chatted for a bit inside before I left for the day, so I felt comfortable before heading out. She even gave Frankie a new stuffed animal that he now can't sleep without because he loves it so much. She sent multiple texts and pictures while I was away, so I felt secure that Frankie was safe and sound.”

“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter! She was incredibly kind to my dog! Her two dogs were adorable and were great for nervous, first time in someone else’s home dogs (my dog). She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

Her dog Ginger was friendly and understanding of Q being shy. Q was so well taken care of in a few days she went from being really shy to getting all excited play with Ginger. Amanda made sure Q had her walks and gave me all the updates I needed. Q started to participate in play more so I know her time with Amanda was safe, fun, and instructive! I would definitely recommend her for dog waking and dog sitting!”

I've had dogs for the past 16 years, spent time volunteering for endless adoption events and shelter visits, and am Red Cross certified in pet first aid and CPR. Seven years of pro pet care has allowed me to care for dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages, from 5lb to 100lb, from babies to seniors. I've also been trusted with many cats and even rats, bunnies and a lizard! I'm always easy to reach and and can't resist a cute pet selfie, so you will get plenty of photo updates of your dog's stay with me! I have a super flexible schedule so feel free to reach out! I am a full-time freelancer, primarily in design and film, with pet care being my secondary gig. I typically make my own schedule and have long periods of open availability interspersed with intensely busy periods. You should know: because I live alone, my dog Teddy comes along on my overnight dog sitting bookings. He is very chill, respectful and easy tempered and I have never had a problem having him in other homes! At my place, I definitely let the pets rule the home and enjoy snoozing on the bed and couch. I do not have a fenced yard, so we will always be on leash for potty breaks in the back courtyard area or full walks. I typically do not do off leash dog parks until I have established trust with your dog, and feel strongly about strict safety rules for females in heat. In your home, I’ll defer to your rules!
