“Evita is super lovable, responsible, and flexible sitter. Our dog loves going to her home and spend time with her. Thank you for all that you do for Lulo!”

“If I could leave 10000000 positive reviews I would! Jiao and her partner are the most incredible, kind, professional, caring, and amazing rovers I’ve ever had watch my lil buddy! They are 10000% my go to best rover friends and my dog Blue was truly sad leaving them after daycare and it’s such a good feeling knowing the people watching your dog cares for him as much as you do!!! So so so wonderful!”

“Naomi has been really great with Blue and ensured daily communication to send us news. We felt really good to know Blue was in good hands ! Thanks a lot for taking are of our dog!”

“Allen was super communicative all day and sent me photos and updates throughout. He even worked on some leash training with her which I super appreciated and gave me some of his own personal tricks. I felt like Roo had a fun filled day with such good socialization with the other pups. I will definitely book again!”

“Serena is great! I love that whenever I leave Theo in her care, I know he’s going to get nice and tired playing with Nugget, and I appreciate the updates I get throughout the day. 10/10 definitely recommend and we will keep coming to Serena!”

“Alayna took great care of my pup Johnnie, even when he had a small, unexpected accident at their apartment. She handled things with grace and care. Recommend!”

“We tried the drop in service today and it gave me such piece of mind knowing Dash was entertained rather than sitting at home alone. Tommy was quick to respond and very accommodating. Dash came home happy and sleepy. A++”

“5 stars is not enough! Crystal is absolutely the best! she was able to take us super last minute and she took great care of my very sweet, but nervous german shepherd and was very accommodating. She is very caring and so sweet with Mila. I will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Dillon is great! We had a last minute event and Dillon was able to help us out in a jam. He kept us in the loop with how our puppy was doing the whole time and sent pictures so we didn’t miss him too much. It was a very dog friendly space and we could tell that Dillon went above and beyond for the pups in his care.”

“Our nervous dog had an amazing day with Christopher while we hosted a party. She had several long walks and lots of rest time before coming home exhausted. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our girlie”

“Catherine has been amazing with our little one and we couldn’t be happier with the services she provides. She’s quick to respond and provides updates throughout the day. We have used her for doggie daycare that has been both short (3h) and long (13h) and have already booked future stays with her.”

About: My partner Rachael and I love our dogs, Annie and Balou, more than anything in the world! Rachael grew up on a farm in Texas and has vast experience caring for and nurturing all types of animals. Our life revolves around our dogs and we aren’t ashamed to admit it! We’d much sooner drive across the country to travel so we can bring them along instead of leaving them at home. The highlight of our day is always spending an hour at one of Portland’s many beautiful parks, off-leash, so that Annie and Balou can get the exercise and stimulation they need. We also enjoy taking them on walks but we do not consider that exercise. We have always welcomed our friend’s and family’s dogs into the house and now we’ve decided to make a business out of it! We also have a small orange cat, Goose, who is welcoming/indifferent to other dogs. And for transparency there is a ball python securely locked in a tank in the house. Annie and Balou love having new friends around to play with and antagonize! We can guarantee your pup will be returned to you happy and exhausted! Rachael works from home so she is here all day with the pets and is able to tend to their every need. I, Alex, am self-employed in the real estate industry so my schedule is flexible and I schedule appointments around the needs of the dogs. We much prefer staying home on weeknights and spend our weekends looking for fun new places to explore with the furry kids. We strongly believe our dogs deserve at least an hour of off-leash exercise every day. Walks are great, but we do not consider that exercise. We have plastic child gates that block off areas that shouldn’t have dogs temporarily but realistically the dogs are welcome everywhere in the house. We have a set of stairs going up to the primary bedroom but they’re not too steep. There are two doors at the back of the house that open up to the fully fenced backyard. Directly behind our house lot we back on to Irvington Elementary School, which is a great place to take the dogs when school is not in session. We are also 0.7 miles from Irving Park, which has a great off-leash area. And we usually take a trip to Fernhill Park once or twice a week for its vast open spaces that welcome dogs off-leash.
“Vanessa was so great with Gomez! She was great with communication, giving updates and pictures. She was flexible with peril off pickup times and I felt really great the whole time knowing my beloved pup was with someone who genuinely loves animals and knew how to ease the nerves of my anxious doggo. 10/10 recommend!!”

About: Hello my name is Niki and I have relocated from Hong Kong to Portland in 2024. I can speak Mandarin and Cantonese. I have over 10 years of experience looking after cats and dogs. I had a Corgi and now I have a cat follow me around everyday. I would let the dogs stay in living room and welcome they sleep in my bedroom. I suggest owner bring me their favorite toys, bed and enough food for the time. I have a very flexible schedule during the week and weekends. I am available for boarding, doggy day care, drop-in visits and dog walking services here in the Pearl, Slab Town, Goose Hollow, Downtown, East End and PSU areas of Portland Oregon. In unfamiliar environments, they might refuse to eat dry food. So I cook fresh food, such as boiled chicken, eggs, broccoli, and sweet potatoes. Please let me know if your pet has any food allergies. I often use essential oils to help pets with anxiety, to calm down and relax.
“Eibhlinn was wonderful with our nervous little Finlay! We’ve avoided leaving him with a sitter for years, because he usually has terrible separation anxiety, but he did very well with Eibhlinn. She sent us photos of his smiling face during his stay, which put us at ease, too. Great communication, and very easy to arrange drop-off and pick-up. We will definitely book Eibhlinn again if she’s available!”

“Danielle was great with Mango and she sent regular updates throughout the day. She made sure Mango felt comfortable throughout her stay. She was also very good a communicating when planning drop off and pick up times. Highly recommend Danielle.”

Old Town-Chinatown dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jiao and her partner were AWESOME. This was the first time we’ve left our puppy and they made us feel so comfortable- lots of pictures and videos throughout the day. They took chef out on a long walk and he was happy and tired when we picked him up. Would totally recommend Jiao!

Caitlyn (and Lucy) was great. She watched our puppy for us while we went out for dinner with some friends when our regular sitter was unavailable. Very communicative and has obviously spent a lot of time with dogs and dog training. We will definitely use her again should the need arise.

Jamie and Chris were easy to communicate with. They suggested a meet and greet with the dogs and all went great. We scheduled a full day of care afterwards and our dog Benny came home happy and exhausted. Benny was well cared for, we received photos, and it was very positive experience. I highly recommend Jamie and Chris!
Peter was so kind and attentive to our pup Benji. We booked fairly last minute, and Benji recently had a surgery. Peter followed all the restrictions needed due to the surgery and I could tell Benji was very happy there. He also shared details and pictures about their day. We’d love to have him watch our pup again!
