“I was very pleased with Fin who kept me updated about Blackjack. He had a couple of issues that concerned Fin regarding his digestive system. I reassured her that sometimes he does have challenges. He was fine the first seven days so likely stressed with the number of days he was at Fin’s home. Fin sent a number of photos that showed Blackjack was totally enjoying himself! I highly recommend Fin as a Dogsitter. Her backyard is a great place for dogs to hang out as is her home. I was impressed by the fact that she walked the dogs twice a day and also only takes one dog at a time.! Fin works from home so Blackjack got constant attention!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. As a child I grew up raising hunting dogs. In my early teens I raised a Seeing eye dog, which included many training sessions. After that I bred A couple generations of Golden Retrievers. While living in Montana I worked with several breeds ranging from Komondors to Poodles and Bichon Frises. In the last 10 years I have been caring for smaller abused breeds. I cared for a senior abused long haired Chihuahua and now have a little Puggle named Ozzy he is my JOY! I took an early retirement, so I have plenty of time during the day or night to care for your furbaby. I will treat them like my own. I live in a apartment in Slabtown. Plenty of places to walk and parks are close by. Nice neighborhood with lots of trees and other dogs

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I will avoid places they’re not supposed to go, keep them on leash at all times, socially distance them if requested, and never give them treats or food unless given owner permission.

About: Having grown up on a farm I have been around animals my entire life. My favorite have always been dogs and cats. I have taken animal care and vet sciences in 4H and volunteered in an animal shelter. I can't imagine life without animals, they add so much joy to life. I currently work part time as a caregiver for seniors. Most of my days are 4 to 6 hours long with weekends off. I have a flexible schedule . In unfamiliar environments, they might refuse to eat dry food. So I cook fresh food, such as boiled chicken, eggs, broccoli, and sweet potatoes. Please let me know if your pet has any food allergies. I often use essential oils to help pets with anxiety, to calm down and relax.

I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives. I grew up caring for animals by pet sitting dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets while having dogs in my home as well. My partner also grew up volunteering at local animal shelters and had dogs in the family as long as they can remember. We have experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, including puppies, seniors, and anxious dogs. Until recently, we cared for our senior dog with a slew of genetic health issues who has since passed and our current dog has ongoing eye care needs. Because of this, we are comfortable administering eye drops and ointments, oral medications, ear ointments, and we are happy to learn any medication routine your pet requires. Our current dog also came to us completely untrained and not housebroken, so we understand the patience and consistency it takes to help dogs learn new routines. We’re happy to continue potty training and reinforce positive habits while your puppy stays with us. Since we both work from home, your dog won’t be left along for long periods and will receive plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. Our current dog reads social cues very well and is great at helping new dogs feel comfortable. Above all, we treat every pet like they are part of the family. We know how important it is to trust someone with your best friend and we will make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. Pet care is a part of our daily routine. We both work hybrid schedules, so someone is always home to provide supervision, companionship, and care. Our dog enjoys 3 walks a day, including 1 longer walk or outing. We are happy to adjust that routine to fit your pets needs. We’re also available most weekends. Your pet’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We provide a calm, clean, and pet-friendly home where dogs are treated like family. We live in an apartment at ground level with easy access to parks and potty areas. Because someone is always home, your dog will receive constant supervision, plenty of attention, and a consistent routine. Well follow your pet’s feeding schedule, exercise needs, medication routine, and any special instructions to help them feel safe and at home.
