Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives. I grew up caring for animals by pet sitting dogs, cats, rabbits, and other small pets while having dogs in my home as well. My partner also grew up volunteering at local animal shelters and had dogs in the family as long as they can remember. We have experience caring for dogs of all ages and personalities, including puppies, seniors, and anxious dogs. Until recently, we cared for our senior dog with a slew of genetic health issues who has since passed and our current dog has ongoing eye care needs. Because of this, we are comfortable administering eye drops and ointments, oral medications, ear ointments, and we are happy to learn any medication routine your pet requires. Our current dog also came to us completely untrained and not housebroken, so we understand the patience and consistency it takes to help dogs learn new routines. We’re happy to continue potty training and reinforce positive habits while your puppy stays with us. Since we both work from home, your dog won’t be left along for long periods and will receive plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. Our current dog reads social cues very well and is great at helping new dogs feel comfortable. Above all, we treat every pet like they are part of the family. We know how important it is to trust someone with your best friend and we will make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away.
