We don't deserve 'em!
As a lifelong dog owner and 5-year pet sitter on Rover, I've cared for lots of dogs spanning many breeds, ages, energy levels and needs. It's a privilege to be able to host dogs and I love doing it because animal energy makes a house feel like a home. Note: because my own dogs have passed, I no longer have beds or toys, but I do have bowls for their food & water.

Emily was great! We could tell that our husky Lena felt right at home at her place. She was very helpful and accommodating our schedule! Would definitely recommend! :)
Emily is the best! She took great care of my fur baby with updates and was even super patient with the nervous barking she does when meeting someone new. I really recommend her for great care, where you know there won’t be any worries. My dachshund usually doesn’t eat dinner when meeting someone new or walk well on a leash but she ate her dinner and was walking happily & even napped.
Emily took great care of Mochi! Lots of walks, 1:1 time, and updates. We wouldn't hesitate to have Mochi stay with Emily again.
Emily continues to be incredible! Super communicative, lots of pictures and does well with our pup who has some reactivity on walks.

Schedule
I typically work from home most days a week and love being able to hang out with the animals. I live a happy peaceful life that I look forward to sharing with your animals too, and find pet sitting mutually beneficial. I hope to meet you soon!

Safety, trust & environment
I like to make sure my pets are happy, calm and loved, so we keep the vibe happy and relaxed for them through energy and environment; it’s chill over here. I love dogs that will cuddle with me in the couch! I’m super careful to ensure they don’t escape out the door and that any encounter with other animals is treated with attention and care. I never take dogs to dog parks or let them off leash outside.
A typical day
I like to go on walks around my neighborhood a few times a day, and love couch cuddles. I am happy to play with your dog too if they love to play, just let me know and please bring their toys with you.

- I like to know as much as you’ll tell me about your pet, especially if they have anxiety or behavior issues or special needs. I can give medication but if it’s oral or injected I’d love to have a meet n greet before accepting a request to make sure it’s a good fit. Meet n greets are also preferred if pets have severe reactivity to other dogs.
