Finding someone you trust with your pet is a big decision, and I strive to provide the same level of care and attention that I'd want for my own. I have many years of experience as both a pet owner and pet sitter, along with a background working as a receptionist in emergency and specialty veterinary hospitals. That experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, and the importance of attentive, compassionate care. I'm currently taking time away from my career to focus on entrepreneurial pursuits, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your furry family member the love, attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve while you're away. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, you can expect to return to your house exactly as you left it—or perhaps even a little cleaner! I understand the importance of respecting your home while ensuring your pet feels comfortable in their familiar environment. If your pet boards with me, they'll enjoy a quiet, calm home with no children or other pets (just a husband that loves pets too). Earlier this year, we said goodbye to our beloved Doberman, and while we're not ready to welcome another pet of our own just yet, we have so much love and affection to share with yours. I treat every pet as if they're part of the family and look forward to getting to know what makes your guy or gal so special. As an added bonus, we live in a wonderful dog-friendly neighborhood just one block from a dog park, making it easy to provide plenty of walks, playtime, and enrichment (if that's something your dog enjoys). I look forward to giving you peace of mind and a stress free experience while you're away and making sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved every step of the way.

I have known Diane for more than 20 years. We first met while working together at an emergency animal hospital in Portland, Oregon. Over the years, Diane has pet sat for me on numerous occasions and has cared for several of my pets, including both cats and dogs. Having worked in veterinary medicine for 34 years, I have always been very selective about who I trust to care for my animals. What I have consistently found to be true is that Diane treats every pet as if it were her own. She provides exceptional care and always leaves my home exactly as I left it (and sometimes better than I left it), which is not something that can be said about every pet sitter. What stands out most is her commitment to maintaining each pet's normal routine. If a pet is accustomed to sleeping on the bed, she accommodates that. If there are specific feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, or special care instructions, she follows them carefully and consistently. Diane takes the time to understand each pet's unique personality and needs, ensuring they remain comfortable and stress-free while their owners are away. Many pet sitters simply provide a presence in the home. Diane goes above and beyond by caring for both the pets and the home, allowing owners to travel with complete peace of mind. Knowing my pets were happy, safe, and well cared for while I was away, was invaluable, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Your pet's schedule is my schedule! I have all the time in the world to devote to caring for your baby and will adapt to whatever is your pet's usual routine.

We can provide everything your pet needs in our house besides their favorite toys and food. We provide a clean, quiet and uncluttered environment so that your pet can focus on being themselves. If you prefer to have me to take care of your pet in your apartment/ house, please know that your home will be treated with as much love and respect as your dog or cat.

We'll stick close to your pet's routine or go on an adventure depending upon your preference. Snuggle time is a must (unless your pet would like to take it slow!)
