“Allen took great care of my high energy dog! He sent me photos and videos throughout the day. My dog loved running around in his yard and came back home tired and happy. Will definitely rebook with Allen.”

“Storm takes a bit of time to get comfortable in new environments with new people, but she seemed to settle in easily with Gil and Peaches! We are so thankful they are patient with her separation anxiety and welcome her on daycare days!”

“Laura is clearly a dog lover and took amazing care of our Nebula while we explored Portland for the day. She made Nebula feel comfortable and excited right away and went the extra mile to really help her adjust to us leaving. She took Neb and a few different walks and sent lots of photos. Highly recommend!”

About: I’m a work from home PhD student with one dog and one cat. I’d love to board or day care your doggo. I will be home with your dog for their entire stay. I’ll treat your dog as my own: giving them frequent potty breaks, a daily long walk, and lots of scritches. My Pom Ellie would love to have a friend who visits! I have several rooms and can separate your dog for meals, if needed. My dog is very much a food-hunter so our home is kept safe from doggies getting in to anything not meant for them. I only sit one dog at a time. You’ll get lots of photos and updates! 🤍 I run a business that is fully online from my home, and I am also a PhD student. So, I am always home and will be with your dog unless I have to run an errand. We take one longer walk per day and have many poddy breaks otherwise (ever 2-4 hours). Feeding will happen on the schedule you describe. I have a Pomeranian here but she can be separated if your dog has special feeding needs. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and in bed. Lots of toys around and my Pom will be so happy to have a friend to play with.

About: Hi, my name is Erika. 👋 I have years of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and coworkers, and I’ve cared for dogs my entire life. I have a huge heart for all animals (15 year vegan for the animals) and I absolutely love spending time with them. I have a dog at home named Miabella who gets along well with most dogs but does not do well around larger dogs (30lb+) who are high energy, engage in rough play, or aggressive. I’m very Type A detail-oriented, so if your pet has a specific feeding routine, med schedule, or care instructions, I’ll make sure everything is followed exactly as requested. I currently work from home and I have a lot of time to play, walk, run, and even teach your pup cool tricks if you’d like. I have experience working with dogs with separation anxiety and dogs who are reactive. Please let me know if you are working on training of any kind so that I can keep implementing training while you are away My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away and will do my best to make them feel at home. I have a small apartment, but have plenty of space for their dog bed, crate, food bowls, toys, blanket, whatever they need to feel at home.
“April and her family and pup Zoe are amazing! They are incredibly lovely people and Zoe and Luca got along great. They took excellent care of Luca and I don't think he wanted to leave when we picked him up. :)”

About: While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I have experience dog sitting for family and friends pets. I work from home and am able to take your furry friend out and about for potty breaks throughout the work day. After work I love taking long walks through the city and I can’t wait to have company if your pet is up for it! Dogs have been a part of my life since I was little and I have always consider them family. Pets are encouraged to snuggle up next to me on the couch while I’m working and in bed for the night. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry companion! I am a work from home gal who is able to take your pet out for frequent potty breaks. I am available for care 7 days a week. I live in an apartment but indoor play and long walks are a specialty of mine. Dogs can expect unlimited cuddles and walks to burn energy.
About: Grew up with pitbulls and cats in the house. I really enjoy being around them and they fit into my daily/weekly schedule extremely well. Im never away from the house for more than 4 hours and I walk for 1-3 hours everyday, I have the time to consistently walk the doggies 3-5x everyday. No dog will go without exercise when they stay with me, and if they like to be a couch potato that's ok too, I accommodate to any activity/energy level!
“Devin was great with my puppy. Found out that my pup has a little bit of separation anxiety, but Devin managed to keep her distracted with walks and play time. Very happy with our experience. Will definitely use her again!”

“Ronnie was great- good communication, convenient location and very involved! I was a bit worried since my dog is young, and a handful, but Ronnie did such a good job keeping him active and occupied. Plus he got to play and hang with Ronnie’s dog, who was extremely sweet and well trained- a good role model for my pup! Very happy with this first experience on Rover and will definitely be using Ronnie again.”

“For our pup’s first doggy day care, Bryan took good care of him and helped out on short notice. He’s friendly, on time, and gave a full report on drop off. Will definitely book again.”

“Sheung is a very trustworthy and kind person! Mochi was under great care. He went on an amazing walk under the cherry blossoms, he played outdoors and was no doubt a very happy dog when we picked him up. She’s also located very close to an enclosed dog park so that’s a bonus. Sheung is Number One!”

“Serena is great! I love that whenever I leave Theo in her care, I know he’s going to get nice and tired playing with Nugget, and I appreciate the updates I get throughout the day. 10/10 definitely recommend and we will keep coming to Serena!”

“Arlo had so much fun with Zoe and Noah! This was my first time ever taking Arlo to a sitter and using the Rover app. I was extremely nervous for Arlo since I don't leave him often and never with someone I haven't met before but thanks to them it was a wonderful experience. I got updates with pictures throughout the day, they took him on a walk, he got to play with other dogs, all around a great experience for the both of us! I will definitely be taking Arlo back when needed.”

“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter! She was incredibly kind to my dog! Her two dogs were adorable and were great for nervous, first time in someone else’s home dogs (my dog). She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

“Michael was a lifesaver today on Super short notice (my sitter cancelled last minute) he was very quick to reply, extremely friendly and professional, but best of all.. my dogs absolutely Loved him. I have an English bulldog w anxiety/separation issues and a mix doodle who is shy and full of energy at the same time. When I picked them up both were happy and my bulldog ran back for more scratches and play. That said everything i needed to know.. Will Def be rebooking next time I'm in town. Thank you again Michael!!”

“Lajetta was a great dog sitter for our doodles! She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures & we could tell the doodles were being loved, cared for & comfortable.”

Erika was absolutely wonderful! She took Moon on short notice without hesitation, which I really appreciated. From the start she was warm, kind, and made me feel completely at ease leaving him with her. She kept me updated throughout, which meant so much. Moon and her dog Miabella got along great, which made the whole experience even better. I will definitely be booking with Erika again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter!

Laura and Nicholas are such nice people and they took really great care of my little puppy Edie while I worked a very long shift. They are very thoughtful and accommodating and so easy to work with. I felt very safe leaving my tiny doggie with them and she had a blast. I got lots of cute pictures and fun updates all day long

Oriana was very responsive during the booking process. I really appreciated her communication. She was punctual with the drop off and pick up. She took great care of my two dogs. I loved the updates and photos she took on their walk. I would highly recommend her!

Evita was incredible! She watched Miso while I had a 12hr shift at work, and was extremely accommodating with drop off and pick up time. She sent lots of updates and was very understanding when my nervous dog wouldn’t stop barking in the morning. 10/10 would recommend!!
