“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter! She was incredibly kind to my dog! Her two dogs were adorable and were great for nervous, first time in someone else’s home dogs (my dog). She took them on frequent walks, communicative about eating, treats, potty, and nap time and sent many pictures. I’d recommend her to anyone with small-medium dogs that need somewhere to go either sitting or boarding. One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

About: I’m a work from home PhD student with one dog and one cat. I’d love to board or day care your doggo. I will be home with your dog for their entire stay. I’ll treat your dog as my own: giving them frequent potty breaks, a daily long walk, and lots of scritches. My Pom Ellie would love to have a friend who visits! I have several rooms and can separate your dog for meals, if needed. My dog is very much a food-hunter so our home is kept safe from doggies getting in to anything not meant for them. I only sit one dog at a time. You’ll get lots of photos and updates! 🤍 I run a business that is fully online from my home, and I am also a PhD student. So, I am always home and will be with your dog unless I have to run an errand. We take one longer walk per day and have many potty breaks otherwise (every 2-4 hours). Meals will happen on the schedule you describe. I have a Pomeranian here but she can be separated if your dog has special eating needs. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and in bed. Lots of toys around and my Pom will be so happy to have a friend to play with.

Currently, I live with two of my own pets—a friendly and social labradoodle named Café and a sweet, independent black cat. I donate 10% of my income from each stay to support animals at the Oregon Humane Society. Pet care is a natural and essential part of my everyday life. I care for my own labradoodle, Café, and black cat every single day, so my routine is already built around providing consistent, loving, and attentive care. Each day includes multiple walks, feeding nutritious meals (I cook Café’s food using whole, natural ingredients), daily grooming habits like teeth and ear cleaning, and plenty of playtime and affection. I also make time for regular outings—whether it’s the beach, the Sunday River Delta, hiking trails, or the dog park—so staying active and keeping pets engaged is part of my lifestyle, not an add-on. When I’m caring for other pets, I simply fold them into this rhythm and adapt to their needs and preferences. I enjoy the structure and joy pets bring into my day, and I’m happy to adjust my schedule to ensure each pet gets the attention, care, and love they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I treat them like part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment with plenty of attention and structure. “Leah was great. I had to leave my 8 week old puppy with a sitter in an emergency, and Leah was very communicative, kind, and generous. She met me right outside her building so we had no trouble finding her. We sat and chatted for a bit inside before I left for the day, so I felt comfortable before heading out. She even gave Frankie a new stuffed animal that he now can't sleep without because he loves it so much. She sent multiple texts and pictures while I was away, so I felt secure that Frankie was safe and sound.”
