Even before the trip Samantha showed reliability and care for the two dogs. Daily photos and updates made the trip all the more better knowing they were in good hands and enjoying their time. Handling two dogs can be more of an ordeal but she managed to give meet their individual needs and schedules. Came home to two happy dogs; would book again for a future trip.
Samantha was wonderful and we really appreciated her staying with our ol’ guy. We found out before leaving that he’d need to be given medication and she didn’t hesitate to do so. She was really responsive and easy to get in touch with- also sent many photos. The house looked great and she even helped by watering our garden. We will have her stay again!
While I do appreciate the fact that Samantha did arrange for a refund of half of her fees, I still feel the need to post this review. While I was on a four day trip, I left my two dogs with her. She asked me if it would be okay for her mother to come visit her in my home, that her mom lived nearby. I said, yes, and I thanked her for asking me first. What happened is that her mother, whom I had never met, was left with my dogs in my home on two different days, all day, while Samantha was somewhere else. One of my dogs was not correctly medicated. They were overfed canned pumpkin (instructions were a teaspoon on one dog's food and one tablespoon on the other, once daily) NOT a whole can at once. There were dishes left on my kitchen counter. And the pneumatic storm door closer was broken off the door. I was not told about it, I came home and saw it and asked about it. Samantha told me the screws were loose but she didn't know anything else about it. Then on the last day, I received a message from Samantha around 5pm, stating that she had to leave early for an emergency at her home. She actually left earlier than 5pm. When she sent her 5pm message, she apologized and said that the dogs did not get their dinner and meds. She was supposed to be at my home until 8pm. I arrived home at 7:30pm. Talk about a stressful situation...

Schedule
My schedule is currently devoted fully to pet care and everything that comes with it. This is my passion and I am so happy to be able to do this full time!

Safety, trust & environment
I will always care for your dog as I would want mine cared for! This includes making sure they get the exercise they deserve with playtime, walks and dog park trips. I will ensure they are fed and always have fresh water. I am open to lots of pets and affection if that’s what they are into. And most important I will stick to your dogs normal daily routine as much as possible! You can expect photo updates regularly and a happy pup when you return!
Pets
A typical day
Fun your dogs can expect to have with me are 1. Walks!! AM and PM at the very least 2. Frequent trips to the park (only off leash if in fenced area) 3. Playtime with their favorite toy/game. (Tug of War, fetch, etc.) 4. And a healthy belly full of treats
