“Storm takes a bit of time to get comfortable in new environments with new people, but she seemed to settle in easily with Gil and Peaches! We are so thankful they are patient with her separation anxiety and welcome her on daycare days!”

“Lajetta was a great dog sitter for our doodles! She kept us updated throughout the day with pictures & we could tell the doodles were being loved, cared for & comfortable.”

“Another wonderful visit at Dawn's house. She has so much fun with Dawn's daughter and their two dogs. It's a mini vacation for Maggie when she is with them. Couldn't find a better place for her when we are away.”

“Sarah was a great sitter for my dog Rosie. Rosie was so excited to come back every morning for daycare, and Rosie and Ellie were fast friends. We will definitely book with Sarah again in the future!”

“Parker had such a good time hanging out with Kimo. Kimo has such a chill space and lives close to a great park which was perfect for my senior pup. Kimo was very attentive and responsive. Highly recommend!”

“Peter took my puppy on more walks than he gets at home! He came home tired, which is hard to do with this fella. I appreciated the generous care he offered my puppy.”

About: I have always had a dogs in my life. I went from growing up with dogs to getting my own dogs when I went off to college. They have been with me since up until recently when we had to put our dog penny down at age 16. Suddenly I find myself without a dog and it is very lonely, but I am not ready for a new permanent addition, so I am hoping to pet sit to still have dogs in my life. My husband and I both work from home, so we are around to give pets love and attention throughout the day. We do have 2 young children so it is important to us that your pet loves kids or is at least used to kids. We recently had to put our two elderly dogs down (14 and 16) so we really miss having dogs around the house but are not ready for a new permanent pet yet, so we are very excited about dog sitting. We have a fenced backyard, we love going for walks, and our kids would love to spend hours playing fetch if that's something your dog enjoys.
“Charlie came home happy and calm. Michelle clearly provided him with a great atmosphere and Sunny clearly was a great play mate. He'll be back! Highly recommend Michelle and Sunny.”
“Annika and John were great with our pup. Their sweet dog Pepper was the perfect playmate too. No issues and quick responses. We’d definitely book with them again!”

“Our pup Kya had a great time staying with Allen and his dog! This was Kya's first time staying at someone else's house without us so we were a little nervous, but Allen made Kya feel right at home. He sent us pictures and updates throughout the evening, and she certainly made herself comfortable. We will definitely be leaving Kya with Allen again in the future!”

About: I'm Nicole, I'm a mom of a 6 year old golden retriever named Peach. I raised her from a puppy and I love her like my own child, she is such a blessing. We like to go to the park to play fetch or watch a movie and cuddle! All of my friends have pets nowadays so we are often trading pet watching throughout the year. I work remotely 8-4 PM M-F and have a lot of flexibility to do things around the house or run errands, so that includes taking care of extra pets. I live with my boyfriend, and we have no children. We have a house with a smaller backyard and live near Laurelhurst park. I work remotely at my house roughly 8-4pm M-F and have a lot of flexibility to take care of Peach and other animals. My weekends are usually filled with house projects, thrifting or getting out to an outdoor activity. My house has a couple of beds, couches and rugs for your pet to sprawl on. We have a smaller fenced yard where the dogs can use the restroom. I do have a crate if needed.
About: I adore all animals, available for drop-ins, walks, and puppy play dates with my dog. I’m currently self-training a wonderful psychiatric service dog, Sobek (still in training). Together we have taken a large number of classes, passed the CGC, volunteered with Oregon Humane Training, canine PT, and had a whole lot of fun along the way. I am familiar with positive reenforcement, force free, settle training, crate training, socialization, clicker training, agility and capturing calm behaviors. I have experience with animals who have mild to moderate mobility issues, puppies, senior and special needs, safe stretching/activity monitoring, and reactive body language. *I graduate from Karen Pryor Academy March 2027* and will be a certified dog trainer then. I’m happy to answer questions or assist you on your journey, teach your dog a thing or two, make suggestions or point you to my many trusted local resources. Inclusivity, flexibility, and honesty are some of my main core values. I am honest about my availability, knowledge and conduct. I’m also a former pro photographer and bound to take many cute photos. They/them, queer/trans affirming. I work from home so I am flexible depending on my meetings. I am available late afternoons and evenings unless otherwise noted in my schedule. I’m fairly organized and pet-proof my own home. I always treat other’s homes as if they were my own, meaning I pack out what I pack in and respect the boundaries of humans and pets who live there.

“For our pup’s first doggy day care, Bryan took good care of him and helped out on short notice. He’s friendly, on time, and gave a full report on drop off. Will definitely book again.”

“Amelia was so great! Louie got comfortable there pretty quickly laying on the couch with with her dog Olive. They were perfect couch potato buddies :) I got photo updates throughout and he got taken on a walk. Louie was very happy!”

“Tyson had the best day! Heath is kind, friendly and natural with dogs. They were very easy to schedule with and great communication. Tyson can’t wait to come back.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Arbor Lodge
Leah did a great job watching our little Bailey. She sent pictures to us to help ease our nerves for leaving him. He was taken well-cared for. We definitely will rebook with her if we are ever back in Portland. Thank you Leah for taking such good care of our Bailey.

Sydney was extremely easy to connect and communicate with, and I am very appreciative of her being available last minute. She seemed to have taken excellent care of my dog. I came home to a very happy, tired girl. Snacks, potty breaks and playtime/walks with Milo, not a bad day. :)) Having never met Sydney, there was never once where I felt uncomfortable leaving my fur baby with her, and I’m a helicopter parent. Lol Thank you Sydney and Milo for hosting her!!

Erika was absolutely wonderful! She took Moon on short notice without hesitation, which I really appreciated. From the start she was warm, kind, and made me feel completely at ease leaving him with her. She kept me updated throughout, which meant so much. Moon and her dog Miabella got along great, which made the whole experience even better. I will definitely be booking with Erika again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter!

Evita was incredible! She watched Miso while I had a 12hr shift at work, and was extremely accommodating with drop off and pick up time. She sent lots of updates and was very understanding when my nervous dog wouldn’t stop barking in the morning. 10/10 would recommend!!
