1. Stephanie H.
“Stephanie took great care of my cat. I was unsure how Penny would react to her as she’s kinda scared around new people, but Penny warmed up to her right away. She made sure to send me videos and pics of how she was doing which I really appreciated.”
2. emily f.
“Emily provides stellar care for our dog, and her communication and followup match this as well. She took care of some extra watering of outdoor plants in pots that would have otherwise crumped in the heat over the last week, and additional care of our dog (toothbrushing, not everyone's cup of tea but it's part of his nighttime ritual). We returned home to a house as we left it and a happy dog. Very grateful for her good care.”
3. Anthea F.
“Anthea is a cat whisper. My kitten took to her immediately and my anxiety ridden kitty stayed mellow and calm during the whole stay. She is dedicated to her charges and communicates in detail and quickly. Will leave my two fur babies with her anytime.”
4. Kinsey S.
“Kinsey was great! She was amazing with Zack (who can be difficult to work with and to trust many people). She kept me updated the entire time and loved on him like he was her own. I would highly reccomend Kinsey to watch your fur baby, I will definately be having her come back again!”
5. Emily B.
“Emily was Amazing! Loved on our boys, gave them lots of treats and walks, plus photos/updates several times a day. We absolutely loved her and so did our boys :)”
6. I-Hsin "Eeshin" S.
“Eeshin goes above and beyond! My 12 year gal has some dementia, developing separation anxiety, some dog reactivity, and dietary/supplement needs. Eeshin handled everything, including nice long walks twice a day (my dog is still pretty energetic, so the total of 6+ miles in a day was beautiful). I received updates, pictures, and maps of their walks. She spent the majority of the time with Olive, rather than just in the evenings and mornings. This was much appreciated, as was everything else, and I came home to a very calm and content old gal. I have been using different variations of sitters, walkers, and companies for quite a few years. While the majority have been great, I am very impressed with the well-rounded care that Eeshin provided.”
7. Stefanee C.
“Stefanee did a great job watching my anxious 2 year old pup. I do my best to foster a fear-free environment for her and Stefanee was so respectful and diligent about making sure Jan felt safe and at ease! Highly recommend!”
8. Brianna W.
“Daisy did an excellent job taking care of our 2 dogs and 1 cat for the first time while we were on a 10-day trip. Lots of great updates and clear communication. All the animals were happy and content when we got home. Thanks so much, Daisy!”
9. Lauren R.
“We loved having Lauren as our cat sitter! She sat with Beau throughout the day so he wouldn’t get lonely, and was a great communicator. When we got back from the trip, our cat seemed very relaxed! Would def recommend Lauren and will use her in the future ?”
10. Benji G.
“I've had some excellent Rover sitters before, but Benji is in a whole other league! They are so loving and communicative and thoughtful, and really well-attuned to the needs of animals and human companions alike. I highly recommend Benji for anxious and/or neurodivergent pet-lovers in particular--they totally, totally get it! My partner and I think of our kitties as our babies, and travel induces a lot of anxiety for us because we hate the idea of leaving the cats alone. Benji was the perfect antidote to our anxiety; they have a wonderful and reassuring presence, asked all the right questions during our meet-and-greet, and overcommunicated before and throughout our trip to reassure us they were present and reliable (but were also quick to tell us they could scale back on communication if we preferred). We also received lots of fun pics throughout Benji's stay and had the pleasure of viewing our kitties and home through another person's (very generous) eyes! When my partner and I returned home, the house was in better condition than we left it, and Benji even left some fun treasures and personal touches for us to enjoy. Most importantly, our kitties were happy, healthy, and in good spirits. They usually hide for a couple days after a big change, but this time they were back to their old cuddly, demanding routines within 30 seconds. I highly, highly recommend Benji. They are a special person with a big heart, and we feel grateful that we've found such a safe, comfortable companion for the kitties--and made a new human friend in the process. Thank you, Benji!”
11. Rachel S.
About: I grew up in a house that always had at least two dogs, and have lived with dogs and cats on and off since I was 17. I have experience with older dogs, puppies, kittens, and feel comfortable being entrusted to give medications as needed. I work a hybrid job that would allow me to WFH if needed. I'm comfortable staying at your home or just dropping in, whatever suits you and your pet best. While I do have a full-time job, it is a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home when I want to. I'd be able to care for your animal(s) all day and bring them outside to play as often as they wanted! Happy to care for your animals during the week and/or on weekends. It's important to me that your animals feel as safe as possible with me, so please feel free to leave any notes about the best care for your babes as you want! If you have a yard I'll ensure the fence is closed. I won't let your dogs off leash unless you specifically tell me to do so. I won't let your cats out of the house unless told to do so. I won't feel them people food... I could continue, but the long and short of it is I'd care for them exactly how you'd like me to!
12. Kiera U.
“Kiera is great! Awesome communication, a lot of care given to maintaining our usual routine, and can tell Kiera knows dogs. My two herding dogs can be pretty high energy and they have some quirks, especially on walks. One of my doggos is nervous & suspicious meeting new people, and Kiera was very understanding and patient with her. Would definitely recommend if you have fur babies with special needs, anxiety, etc!”
13. Shana T.
“Shana and Ryan were so perfect to our pups. They housesat with our 2 dogs for 2 weeks. We came back to our house spotless and in even better shape than when we left it! It was important to us that the pups felt safe and comfortable as this was our first time leaving our pups for a long period. They were in great hands with Shana and Ryan- Hank and Dory clearly received lots of love and the routine/structure they needed. We also got plenty of photo updates and Shana was always super quick to respond. Overall, I am so happy with their care and will be recommending Shana and Ryan to anyone who is looking for a house and dogsitter. Thank you both so much, Hank and Dory miss you guys already!!”
14. Shabnam B.
“Shabnam is amazing and a super sweet person who is easy to get along with. She took EXCELLENT care of my dog Kona, my cat Mouse and also our home. She stayed at our place while we were away to Mexico for 5 days. Kona got walks and playtime and also got to sleep with Shabnam too. What a spoiled dog! lol Mouse enjoyed the attention Shab gave her like brushing and playing with her feather wand. We came home to a cleam house and two happy animals. She honestly deserves the 5 stars and then some. If youa re loking for a great sitter, give Shab a call, you will be VERY happy you did! I would use her services again in a heartbeat. :-) Thanks Shab! Kona and Mouse says thanks again too. ;-)”
15. Kayla N.
“Kayla was great! She was super proactive about sending me lots of updates and photos and my cats seemed to really love her! I felt very relaxed during my trip knowing they were in good hands. Would definitely recommend Kayla with your fur babies!”
16. Catherine S.
“House, pets, and plants were well cared for. Catherine went above and beyond to make our pets feel loved while we were away. We'll definitely contact her again for our future trips.”
17. Sarah A.
“This was our first time having Sarah with our animals and she was fantastic! One of our dogs can be reactive and tricky to read. Really, there are quirks with all three animals and Sarah was gracious and easy going. Animals are happy and house is cleaned!”
18. Suzanne W.
“Suzanne took amazing care of my dog Mazie. She communicated everyday with updates and pictures. Mazie was exercised everyday and boy is she one worn out pup! I would highly recommend her!”
19. Chelsea Z.
“Chelsea has been an incredible dog sitter for our fur baby, Fletcher! She has taken care of him several times over the years and even when he became deaf and blind she accommodated him and all his extra needs. Chelsea is a true animal lover! You will never have to worry about the care your pet receives from her, she is the best!”
20. Julie C.
“So thankful for Julie! She was super patient with our pup Pesto during our first trip away, as he can be barky and extremely shy with new people, but by the time we came back 2 days later they were great pals! She was easy to keep in touch with and kept us in the loop the entire time, with plenty of photos and updates. We know Pesto looks forward to seeing her again soon!”
