“Thank you so much, Shannon, for taking such great care of our pups! We didn’t worry while we were gone, and we know the dogs had a great time and were well cared for!”

“Peter is Fantastic! He was thorough in asking about my pets needs, as well as following requests and a schedule to ensure they got the right amount of exercise and care. He stayed at the house so it was comforting he was there with them the duration of the time he was caring for them. He sent detailed summaries of the day with pictures each evening. I would absolutely work with Peter again!”

“Heidi was awesome with our kitty cat Stitch! Daily updates and pictures, super loving to our boy and left everything spotless at the house. Stitch seemed so happy and relaxed upon our return which was such a pleasant surprise since he tends to get stressed when we travel. Highly recommend and will definitely hope to book with Heidi again in the future.”

“My shy senior cat Norman rarely trusts someone new as quickly as he did Lark. It was such a relief knowing he was not only in good hands, but enjoying cuddles, toys, brushing, and thoughtful care. That's a 10/10, from Norman and me.”

“Erin was wonderful with our cats! She even got our shy Maus to warm up to her! Great photos and communication. House was today and she even washed the sheets. Have already booked her for our next trip.”

“Chardonay and Ben were fantastic with our pups! They gave updates throughout the day with lots of photos. I felt very comfortable leaving my reactive pup in their care. Both puppies were tired when we got home and the house was so tidy!”

“Anna was able to watch my kitty last minute and on a holiday. She was very professional, great communication, sent me lots of pictures, and would love to have her back any time. :)”

“My dog seems to be very reserves and skittish around strangers so was very apprehensive about booking someone from Rover to stay with her. I made the perfect choice with Anthea. My little girl was comfortable with her right away. Anthea sent multiple pictures and put my mind at ease immediately couldn’t ask for a better person to take care of your animal. I will certainly use her again.”

“Chad is awesome! He stayed with our two energetic dogs for 2.5 weeks while we were away. We came home to happy dogs and a ridiculously clean house. He was happy to meet the dogs before hand and do a few walks and kept in touch to let us know the babies were safe and sound. I would definitely recommend using him!”
“Skyler was great! Did an amazing job taking care of our pups and keeping the house in one piece. Communication was on point, sending updates each day. Would definitely rebook in the future. Highly recommended!”

“Aaron stayed with my two cats for several days and took excellent care of them. He was attentive, communicative, and conscientious about their unique needs. I would definitely ask him to care for them again and highly recommend him!”

“Joseph was great! He was very communicative and helped us negotiate a schedule change without any worries. Joseph was flexible and the dogs loved having him here!”

“River was great! Very communicative and happy to send pictures/updates throughout. She generously accommodated some scheduling snafus between us, and additionally was happy to come meet him before the trip to ease into things. Importantly, she was happy to ask questions as needed. Our dog requires patience and exhibits some odd (charming) traits, and she was happy to learn how to accommodate a dog like that and get to know and meet his needs. While our dog was happy to see us, he wasn't overly relieved we were back, either :)”

“I had a last minute thing come up and needed care for both of my dogs for a week. I am always a bit nervous to have a new sitter for longer dog sitting, but Hailey was wonderful!! She was very communicative and my dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives. Definitely recommend her!”

“Megan was very responsive and clearly enjoys doing this work. We had her in for a half day of pet sitting and she took good care of our dog, was great about letting me know specifics on how he was doing, and was flexible with a last minute schedule change. Would definitely hire her again.”

“I just moved back to Portland and was looking for a house sitter for my sweet little old lady, Pearl, and had a few upcoming trips planned. Danny was very communicative, always prompt and was more than willing to help with an unexpected medical need. Pearl was well taken care of and I'll happily work with Danny again.”

“Rachel was wonderful! She was so sweet and compassionate to my sometimes crazy boy. I received daily check-ins/photos, she was communicative, and took great care of my apartment. I can tell that she truly loves animals and was always very kind to me as well. I highly recommend Rachel, your pets will be in good hands.”

Bridgeton pet parents share their Rover experiences
Emily looked after our one year-old puppy for a couple days while we had to go out of town at the last minute. Murphy seemed happy and content when we got home and the house was in great shape. Emily also looked out for packages that got delivered and helped bring those in. Thank you so much!

Anna was a good communicator, asked great questions, and took good care of both my pup and my home. My border collie, Alsea, is super high-energy and Anna seemed to handle it well. The house was clean and Alsea was tired (in a good way) and well-adjusted when I got home. I will definitely call Anna again for future pet sitting needs!

Dorian was great and easy to work with. Very flexible about meet up times. He gave great updates with pictures and comments while we were away and left the house in good condition when we returned. Our pets all seemed calm and well cared for on our return, no post trip friction to work through. Bonus he even fixed an issue we had been having with our projector! Will definitely think of Dorian when it comes to our next trip.

Lark is AMAZING! They took such great care of our floofs, from a pre-vacation meet & greet to regular updates while we were away, Lark was such a treat to work with. Definitely pet (and their people) approved…we’ll definitely use them against would HIGHLY recommend!
Char and Ben were fantastic pet sitters for my two Danes. It was obvious from the meet and greet that they had experience and were very comfortable around X-lg dogs! The communication and photos were top notch. My dogs are quirky and Char and Ben were able to work with them on their picky eating and fear of the floor register. The Danes were very content when I came home so I knew they had gotten their needs met while I was gone. Bodhi is now moping around as he misses his new buddies. Highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

This was our second time having Aubrey housesit. She sent us regular photos, videos, and behavior updates. When we came home, our fur babies barely acknowledged that we were back - clearly they were well cared for! And, the house was just as we’d left it. We couldn’t ask for more!

James is amazing. I booked him last minute due to a family emergency. He came over, met my pup and I felt totally at ease leaving my senior pup with him. He stayed at my house for 4 nights while I was away and he checked in with me, sent me photos and took excellent care of my dog and my home. I came home to clean and tidy home and well taken care of pup. I would definitely book James again to dog sit. He was communicative, and great with my dog.
