“Shannon was great with our 5-month-old Border Collie puppies for a 3-day house/dog sit. They are a handful, and both dogs and house were in great shape, upon our return. Shannon is punctual and a solid communicator. Highly recommended.”

“Couldn’t be more pleased with Peter! He arrived early, kept me updated with pictures throughout his stay and took great care of Sunny! Will definitely book again and highly recommend.”

“My shy senior cat Norman rarely trusts someone new as quickly as he did Lark. It was such a relief knowing he was not only in good hands, but enjoying cuddles, toys, brushing, and thoughtful care. That's a 10/10, from Norman and me.”

“Rachel was wonderful! She was so sweet and compassionate to my sometimes crazy boy. I received daily check-ins/photos, she was communicative, and took great care of my apartment. I can tell that she truly loves animals and was always very kind to me as well. I highly recommend Rachel, your pets will be in good hands.”

“Crystal was amazing! Took the best care of my dog and cat while I was away, sent a bunch of photos and updates throughout the day of their adventures, and kept the house in lovely condition. I could tell she vacuumed before heading out which I SO appreciated when I got home from my trip! I’ll definitely be booking with her again if she’s available. Thank you Crystal, Pretzel and Beans miss you!”

“Allison was the absolute sweetest! I felt so comfortable having her stay at our house and care for our two dogs. She checked in with adorable photos several times over the weekend, the house was just as we left it, and I could tell she just really loved being with our dogs which is the best feeling. Would book again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have had dogs since I was 3 years old. Currently do not have a dog of my own but still dog sit for my mom when she goes out of town or comes visits me. Have plenty of experience with dogs of all sizes and puppies. Young professional in seasonal type job. My work is currently in the slow season so have plenty of time for dogs/puppies. I also have all my weekends available to puppy sit. I live in an apartment but there are plenty of walking trails and parks nearby. I also have plenty of time off and no weekend commitments so I can stay at your home so the pups are more comfortable.
“Joseph watched our two dogs and home for a few days. He was available for a meet and greet prior and provided cute photos and daily updates during his stay. Though our velcro dog would have loved some more human time (he can't get enough) we came home to happy dogs and a clean house!”

“Carly was so incredibly helpful when our cat had some last-minute needs requiring medication administration and an adjustment to our schedule. Carly was communicative and accommodating and sent lots of reassuring updates and photos. Our cats are clearly very comfortable with Carly and we are so happy to have a such a trusted, capable, and kind sitter!”

“Lillian stayed at our house for six nights with our senior pup who needs extra care and attention. Prior to her stay we had meet and greets and were immediately comfortable with her. Walter (our pup) loved her from the start. While we were away she provided lovely daily updates and photos. We arrived home to a happy pup and very clean house. Lillian is kind, communicative and sweet. We highly recommend her!”

“Char and Ben were fantastic pet sitters for my two Danes. It was obvious from the meet and greet that they had experience and were very comfortable around X-lg dogs! The communication and photos were top notch. My dogs are quirky and Char and Ben were able to work with them on their picky eating and fear of the floor register. The Danes were very content when I came home so I knew they had gotten their needs met while I was gone. Bodhi is now moping around as he misses his new buddies. Highly recommend them and will definitely use them again.”

“Dakotah took time for a meet and greet and had great communication. He took good care of our two pups and left our home nice and clean. We would definitely reach out again next time we are looking for a sitter!”

“Chad took excellent care of our pup while we were gone for the weekend. He was communicative and sent updates of their walks daily, our house was spotless when we got home which was lovely after coming back from vacation. We would love to have him hang with our pup anytime :)”

“Banana had a wonderful time with Heidi! This was our first trip since our baby was born and we wanted Banana to feel special so she wouldn't be left out. Heidi left our home looking better than we left it and kept us updated throughout our trip. We look forward to having Heidi stay with Banana again!”

“My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a more attentive, thoughtful, and communicative sitter for our dogs. It was a last-minute booking and our first time using a sitter, so we were a bit anxious to leave them, but from the very first meet and greet, we felt completely at ease. Anna took the time to really get to know our dogs, tuning into their individual personalities and needs. Throughout her stay, she sent thoughtful updates, photos, and videos, which reassured us that they were safe, happy, and in the best hands. We know our dogs loved their time with her — we came home to two relaxed, content pups. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Anna again and feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Brianna made us feel so comfortable leaving our home and pup in her care while we were away for the weekend. She provided updates on how things were going and took excellent care of everything. Would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

Portsmith pet parents share their Rover experiences
Makenna house sat with my two dogs (one is a puppy!) and I was very pleased with her service. She was able to stick to their specific diet, and routines. I was particular with how to handle my new puppy, and wanted to make sure her routine and training was consistent. I felt very comfortable with her in my home, I returned and it was just as I left it. She was very communicative, gave me updates, and I was very impressed with her ability to handle both my older dog, and puppy at the same time.

Lark is AMAZING! They took such great care of our floofs, from a pre-vacation meet & greet to regular updates while we were away, Lark was such a treat to work with. Definitely pet (and their people) approved…we’ll definitely use them against would HIGHLY recommend!

Finding Lily was a blessing to us! She took a stay on semi-short notice and was extremely accommodative to both our busy schedule and our dogs active lifestyle. We never had to worry with her constant check-ins and photos, her communication was great. When we arrived home it was extremely clean and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate in the slightest to recommend Lily to any of our friends with dogs for her services. We look forward to her next stay with our pup!

James is amazing. I booked him last minute due to a family emergency. He came over, met my pup and I felt totally at ease leaving my senior pup with him. He stayed at my house for 4 nights while I was away and he checked in with me, sent me photos and took excellent care of my dog and my home. I came home to clean and tidy home and well taken care of pup. I would definitely book James again to dog sit. He was communicative, and great with my dog.
I had a last minute thing come up and needed care for both of my dogs for a week. I am always a bit nervous to have a new sitter for longer dog sitting, but Hailey was wonderful!! She was very communicative and my dogs looked like they were having the time of their lives. Definitely recommend her!
