1. emily f.
“This is our second time having Emilie care for our home and our dogs. She continues to be the consummate professional, everything works is easy, and we could not feel more positively about her.”
2. Stephanie H.
“Stephanie did a great job for our first time house/dog sitter. Elderly pooch with poor eyesight and hearing looked and acted in fine fetter. He even got to sleep with Stephanie which kept him happy. House was clean, obviously well cared for as well.”
3. Anthea F.
“Anthea took such loving care of my babies (a dog and 2 cats). She kept me informed of how they were doing and sent several pix. And she left my house in perfect condition. I can't recommend her highly enough.”
4. Benji G.
“I've had some excellent Rover sitters before, but Benji is in a whole other league! They are so loving and communicative and thoughtful, and really well-attuned to the needs of animals and human companions alike. I highly recommend Benji for anxious and/or neurodivergent pet-lovers in particular--they totally, totally get it! My partner and I think of our kitties as our babies, and travel induces a lot of anxiety for us because we hate the idea of leaving the cats alone. Benji was the perfect antidote to our anxiety; they have a wonderful and reassuring presence, asked all the right questions during our meet-and-greet, and overcommunicated before and throughout our trip to reassure us they were present and reliable (but were also quick to tell us they could scale back on communication if we preferred). We also received lots of fun pics throughout Benji's stay and had the pleasure of viewing our kitties and home through another person's (very generous) eyes! When my partner and I returned home, the house was in better condition than we left it, and Benji even left some fun treasures and personal touches for us to enjoy. Most importantly, our kitties were happy, healthy, and in good spirits. They usually hide for a couple days after a big change, but this time they were back to their old cuddly, demanding routines within 30 seconds. I highly, highly recommend Benji. They are a special person with a big heart, and we feel grateful that we've found such a safe, comfortable companion for the kitties--and made a new human friend in the process. Thank you, Benji!”
5. Stefanee C.
“Stefanee did a great job watching my anxious 2 year old pup. I do my best to foster a fear-free environment for her and Stefanee was so respectful and diligent about making sure Jan felt safe and at ease! Highly recommend!”
6. Rachel S.
About: I grew up in a house that always had at least two dogs, and have lived with dogs and cats on and off since I was 17. I have experience with older dogs, puppies, kittens, and feel comfortable being entrusted to give medications as needed. I work a hybrid job that would allow me to WFH if needed. I'm comfortable staying at your home or just dropping in, whatever suits you and your pet best. While I do have a full-time job, it is a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home when I want to. I'd be able to care for your animal(s) all day and bring them outside to play as often as they wanted! Happy to care for your animals during the week and/or on weekends. It's important to me that your animals feel as safe as possible with me, so please feel free to leave any notes about the best care for your babes as you want! If you have a yard I'll ensure the fence is closed. I won't let your dogs off leash unless you specifically tell me to do so. I won't let your cats out of the house unless told to do so. I won't feel them people food... I could continue, but the long and short of it is I'd care for them exactly how you'd like me to!
7. Shabnam B.
“Shabnam is just great. She treated our dog, Pete, as though he were her own, lavishing love and attention on him, while being the responsible adult, fully capable of making sure Pete was safe. We came home to a happy, contented dog who had made a new friend. It is a relationship we would like to keep.”
8. Shana T.
“Shana and Ryan did such a fantastic job with our two boys. In between booking and their stay we had a major change in one of our dogs medical. They were very flexible and not dissuaded by the extra care required during their stay. They were very communicative both before and during their stay and sent updates and photos of the boys. We arrived home to happy, healthy dogs and a clean and tidy house. I will definitely use Shana and Ryan again for future stays.”
9. Lillian H.
“Lillian was terrific with my pup. He was even recently neutered and required special attention and Lillian was able to accommodate us. I was very thankful!”
10. Alyssa D.
“Alyssa was awesome! Super communicative, sent lots of pictures, and left the house in great shape. The pets felt super loved and were well taken care of. I would 100% recommend Alyssa to others!”
11. Chelsea Z.
“Chelsea has been an incredible dog sitter for our fur baby, Fletcher! She has taken care of him several times over the years and even when he became deaf and blind she accommodated him and all his extra needs. Chelsea is a true animal lover! You will never have to worry about the care your pet receives from her, she is the best!”
12. David J.
“It is clear that David has a deep understanding of dogs. My weimaraner, Denali, is a bit timid and quite weary of new faces. David knew how to gain her trust and make her feel comfortable right away. He kept me updated with text messages and pictures throughout his stay and I returned to a happy dog! I will definitely hire David again in the future! ”
13. Molly G.
“Molly truly and genuinely loves animals. She is patient, attentive, responsible, energetic and considerate. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy caregiver/walker for their beloved fur babies. You will not be disappointed.”
14. Alicia P.
“Alicia treated my dogs as if they were her own! I had such a great sitting experience. Great communication, she handled my dog with trigger issues super well, and kept me updated. I always get anxiety about my pups but didn’t feel that at all with this sit, I even extended my stay! I will 100% be booking with Alicia again as long as she’s sitting!!!!”
15. Romy H.
“I have no doubt that Romy will be a fantastic pet sitter/walker. Her family has had a dog most of her upbringing, not to mention all the housesitting & dog sitting she has done over the years. She's a true animal lover and will pour all her "missing her own dog back home" affection into caring for other pets. Words to describe Romy: sweet, kind, fun loving, responsible and hard working.”
16. Lauren D.
“Lauren is a loving and caring pet owner. She has always looked out in the best interest of her pets. She has dog sat for me multiple times when I have gone out of town. Living in Arizona she always makes sure that my pets are hydrated and happy. She is very observant of hot asphalt when taking my dog on a walk and makes sure to keep my dogs best interest at heart.”
17. Alexander G.
“My partner and I were both very nervous to use Rover for the first time, but Alex was very reassuring and agreed to meet up multiple times prior to house-sitting for a week. He sent many pictures every day and stayed in constant communication. His dog was great with my dogs and my cat, and I appreciate the socialization and playtime with my dogs. One of my young dogs is 50lbs and extremely energetic, and Alex did a great job handling and training her to walk on a leash. We’re so appreciative of Alex’s help during our vacation!”
18. Megan N.
“Megan was great! Our Benny enjoyed her company and she did a perfect job with giving his medicine and walking him. We will def reach out to her again soon!”
19. Paul O.
“Paul did a great job with our two pups. He is very relaxed and the dogs picked up on his demeanor. Paul was able to walk both of them which was most helpful. I recommend him without any reservations!”
20. Amelia P.
“Amelia & Cienna did an awesome job taking care of my pets Koda (dog) & Alpine (cat) while I was away. Amelia took care of them like they were her own! I recieved lots of updates! Cienna & Koda were so cute together! Definitely would trust Amelia with my fur family again and again! Thank you!!!”
