“I was very picky with who I trusted, and Emily did not disappoint! I could tell all of my pets where well cared for while I was gone for a week. And when I came home, the place was even cleaner than I left it.”
2. Anna S.
“Anna was AMAZING! She was very friendly during the initial meeting and I immediately trusted her to watch our house and pets. While we were gone she sent daily pictures and updates and was very responsive and easy to communicate with. She went above and beyond in taking care of our cats and house. Even our very shy cat Ashy came out of her hiding spots while Anna was staying at the house which is a feat in itself. I know they felt comfortable and when I came home they seemed very happy and content. I already rebooked Anna and will be recommending her to all my friends. Thank you for loving our animals while we were gone!”
3. Maggie S.
“Maggie stayed over at our place to take of our pups and made us feel at ease while we were away, which is HUGE for us. We always worry that our pups won’t get the same level of care and love that we give them, but Maggie definitely did that for them. Our pups are anxious, but she took her time with them and made them feel comfortable and relaxed. We loved seeing photos and videos of them every day and how happy they were with someone other than us! Not only did she care for our pups, but she was also respectful to us and our house. Her communication with us was above and beyond! We would love to have her again, and our pups definitely would too!”
4. Jaimie V.
“Jaimie was an awesome sitter for my boy! She went above and beyond the requirements of the job. I can tell she really cares about what she does and providing the best care for the animals under her car. She was flexible, responsive, proactive, caring, and responsible. I highly recommend Jaimie!”
5. Jazmyn D.
“Jaz was incredible! Gave me updates on everything I requested and was 100% responsive to my communications. They understood my stress about my dog who was recently diagnosed with Addison's and were very patient. I was worried I would have to apologize for my dog's constant attempts to get ground food on walks, but Jaz had a lot of experience and was patient with her as well. I hadn't left my baby alone for more than a day since COVID started, and Jaz went above and beyond to put me at ease.”
6. Brian W.
“Brian did an exceptional job with our dog while we were away. He followed all of our guidelines for pet care and safety, and was immediately accepted by our fur baby. Brian also provided house sitting services, which proved to be excellent and very much appreciated. He took numerous pictures for us to view while we were away, and contacted us to let us know that everything was going well. Brian is an asset to the pet care community! Thanks again, Brian.”
7. Sara B.
“Sara is brilliant and the kind of sitter you hope to find on a place like Rover. She was communicative, prompt, and accommodating. She stayed in our home for an extended time and kept both it and our cat, safe and well-loved. We are so happy to have someone trustworthy and caring to look after the things most precious to us. Our cat has health issues and Sara handled them well, ensuring medications were given regularly. You won’t regret booking her, but I’ll regret this review when she is too busy watching your pets the next time we need her :)”
8. Natasha K.
“Natasha took exceptional care of our little pup who can get anxious around new people. She was reliable and communicated effectively, leaving us at ease while we were away. I would definitely recommend Natasha!”
9. Nico M.
“Nico was super responsive and gave lots of love to our dog while we were away. House was super tidy upon our return. Great guest and pet sitter!”
10. Leni P.
“Leni is so great!! She housesat and watched my dog Bear and sent me lots of photos and updates so I could be away from home without ever worrying. She’s also very professional and kind and I will definitely recommend her to everyone I know.”
11. Lillian H.
“Lillian was terrific with my pup. He was even recently neutered and required special attention and Lillian was able to accommodate us. I was very thankful!”
12. Stefanee C.
“Wow. First time using Stefanee, but won’t be the last. What a special, sweet person. Took care of our baby and was really great to work with.”
13. Alexander G.
“Alexander and Ruby were great at keeping my two senior dogs company while I was out of town. Reliable communication and my dogs were happy! Would definitely have Alexander watch my kiddos again!”
14. Jonathan D.
“Jonathan accepted the job to dog-sit our herd of four with a day’s notice and only meeting us on Zoom. He took over from a different dog-sitter so he got abbreviated instruction from our son. Given the lack of any official going over things or showing him around, he did an amazing job. We have two giant dogs and two medium dogs with special needs. The dogs were well taken care of and the house was left fairly clean — a pleasant surprise. We got a few photos of the dogs cuddling with Jonathan and on walks in which he took them which were not a requirement, but an extra. This thoughtfulness while we we’re mourning was comforting. We would recommend Jonathan and will hire him in future.”
15. David J.
“This was the first day of a multi-day stay with Humfrey. There are three separate stays booked for the same time period, so I'll just copy what I wrote for the other one here: David was an attentive and considerate pet/housesitter for Humfrey. I also have 2 cats and he offered to feed them as well while I was gone. Humfrey is an 80 pound pit bull with separation anxiety and behavior issues around other dogs, so it was important to me to find a sitter who could not only physically handle such a big dog, but who would also be able to follow my specific directions regarding managing Humfrey's environment and behavior. David did just that. I left David about 4 pages of single-spaced instructions and didn't know whether he'd actually read everything. When I got back, he casually mentioned one of the things buried in those instructions; I was both impressed and relieved. The night before I left on my trip, I had a last-minute change in travel plans and had to extend the trip by 2 days. I asked David at that time whether he could watch the animals those extra two days, and he said of course. While I realize he wouldn't have been able to do it if he were already booked, it still was a relief to know that he was flexible and could go with the flow. I was in Cuba, where internet was spotty and where I couldn't make calls or log into the rover site. Nonetheless, David sent pictures just about every day. My text messages get forwarded to email, so I knew that he was taking pictures, and I got to see them when I got back. It was comforting to know that he was still there and taking good care of the animals. When I returned, the house was in the same condition that I left it in, if not better. There was some clutter when I left, so I felt a bit bad to leave the place in that state, but David didn't seem to mind. I'd definitely recommend David to other people.”
16. Alyssa D.
“Alyssa is fantastic and reliable! We received regular pupdates and she left our home in perfect condition. Stewart has a new favorite dog walker now because Alyssa is so wonderful!”
17. Paul O.
“Goes well out of his way to make sure your dog is taken care of. Paul managed an entire power outage situation with our dog and house while we were away and everything went smooth. He was overly willing to do what he could to help and we are truly grateful.”

About: I have lots of experience with cats and dogs and have2 cats of my own. I’m very flexible with my schedule and reliable. I love animals. I’m very patient loving and caring. I can walk, feed, play and give lots of love and affection. I’ve had dogs growing up and have had experience with pet sitting and walking. I’ve always had cats. I get a long very well with animals. I just need to know ahead of time of their needs. I have had asthma so I use an inhaler and can’t run but I can still walk them and make sure they get exercise. I don’t drive or have a car but I can take the bus or take an Uber or Lyft. I am disabled but still have lots of capability and time to spend time with dog or cats. I’m very flexible and reliable I make sure there’s lots of play time and opportunities to go outside to go on a walk or go to the bathroom. I can’t run due to asthma but I can still play and get exercise in. I give lots of love and attention just like they were my own I am disabled so I have a lot of spare time. I am a student but that’s part time so I still have plenty of time to spend with the pets I have an apartment with a small yard. I feed, bathe, walk, and play with pets staying in my home. They’re aloud on furniture or wherever they’re comfortable. In others’ home, I would care for the pets just as I would in my home unless instructed to do otherwise. Feed, play, cuddle, walk.
