“Alex did so well with our pup! She is really responsive, easy to communicate with, and well equipped to care for and safely walk our dog who can be reactive/anxious. It was great to know that our dog was in such good hands while we were away.”
“Lillian was a great companion to both our pets while we were away for the holiday. We were so happy to connect with someone willing to drive our dog to an area of the neighborhood with flatter streets. I'm sure he was happy too! Would definitely recommend.”
“Byron has started taking my pointer on weekly walks and is the best! He’s prompt, easy to communicate with, and clearly loves being around dogs. Plus, my pup always comes back happy AND tired. Thank you!!”

About: My husband and I have had many years of experience with dogs. We have a rescue that we adopted a year and half ago. While we can't afford a second dog right now we would love to have more in our home! My husband and I both work from home. I do go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is always here. We are available 7 days a week currently. Beyond that we’re both homebodies who love to take our dog on long walks around the neighborhood. I have a fenced in yard with locked gates and one 20 lb female rescue pup to keep your dog company. We allow dogs on the furniture/bed, but we can also crate your dog if preferred. Our home is a single story with no stairs. Dogs will never be left alone together for safety purposes and will never be in backyard unsupervised. We can accommodate frequent bathroom breaks, but your dog must be potty trained.
“We are so glad to have Emma as part of our pack. Lucy is very lucky to have her care and love. Emma was on time, very communicative and took perfect care of Lucy.”

“Chris is exceptional. My dog was new to me when you started walking with Chris. I got regular information and Chris was helpful in meeting my dog where he was. Could not recommend more highly.”

“So grateful to find Shannon in a pinch today. She was so awesome easy pick up easy drop off and I seem to like rocket loved her.. would definitely book her again in the future”

“I was so relieved to find Bobby last minute to walk my dog for a few days. He was reliable, friendly, and really prioritized my dog's well being. We will be sure to use him again in the future. Thanks Bobby!”

About: I have taken care of all ages and sizes of dog, from lab puppies to senior chihuahuas. I have lived with dogs my whole life, and have been pet sitting since high school. I am skilled with spicy dogs and administering medicine since my last dog was a chihuahua with PTSD. I currently work part time in the middle of the day, so I have plenty of time to play and care for pets. I also have a car so I can transport myself to and from each clients residence. I love to keep the pets company when owners are gone for a period of time, taking them on walks, playing, and of course feeding them.

I want your pet to feel comfortable in their usual routine. I read canine body language, respect individual needs, reward positive behaviors, provide exercise, cook special meals (if requested), and create a safe, happy space for every single dog or cat. About: I have lots of experience with cats and dogs and have2 cats of my own. I’m very flexible with my schedule and reliable. I love animals. I’m very patient loving and caring. I can walk, feed, play and give lots of love and affection. I’ve had dogs growing up and have had experience with pet sitting and walking. I’ve always had cats. I get a long very well with animals. I just need to know ahead of time of their needs. I have had asthma so I use an inhaler and can’t run but I can still walk them and make sure they get exercise. I don’t drive or have a car but I can take the bus or take an Uber or Lyft. I am disabled but still have lots of capability and time to spend time with dog or cats. I’m very flexible and reliable I make sure there’s lots of play time and opportunities to go outside to go on a walk or go to the bathroom. I can’t run due to asthma but I can still play and get exercise in. I give lots of love and attention just like they were my own I am disabled so I have a lot of spare time. I am a student but that’s part time so I still have plenty of time to spend with the pets I have an apartment with a small yard. I feed, bathe, walk, and play with pets staying in my home. They’re aloud on furniture or wherever they’re comfortable. In others’ home, I would care for the pets just as I would in my home unless instructed to do otherwise. Feed, play, cuddle, walk.

“I was away for 9+ weeks and hired Alex as dog walker for my pup, Mateo. I was anxious, Mateo was anxious, my sister (Mateo stayed with her during my absence) was anxious. Alex wasn't anxious at all. Alex immediately put me at ease that Mateo would be in good hands while I was gone. Alex walked Mateo 4 days a week and during that time Mateo was able to meet many new friends. I will be hiring Alex again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for personal attention and care for your pet.”

“Donna is fantastic. Great communication and wonderful with our old beagle Austin. I highly recommend her; dependable and caring, she'll treat your buddy like one of her own!!!”

About: I grew up with a black lab for nearly 14 years as a child and come from a family of Labrador lovers. I now take care of my own gentle giant black lab who I got to train as a service animal myself. I also have experience with high-energy dogs and running off energy! I am very loving and passsionate person towards dogs, they love my ear and belly rubs and often love to cuddle if that's their thing! My favorite things to do with dogs is taking them for adventures to the park/forest, river/lakes and the snow during wintertime. I am no stranger to labrador breeds but also have experince with Shepard and border collie breeds the most, as well as many others here and there. I've had my fair share of sick dogs, whether it be ear infection to cancer and know the emotional roller coaster and/or hassle of giving medications and can show the dogs lots of empathy if this is something that would be needed. I always treat dogs like their my own and would want the best for your pup just like I would for my own girl! I work non-traditional hours which means I frequently have a lot of days off in a row and then work once a week with 12 hrs in one day. This means I get to spend a lot of one-on-one with my personal dog, providing lots of attention, walks to the park and even days at the river and wouldnt mind some more company from other dogs as well! I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.
“Kate was so sweet and personable! She genuinely has a love for dogs and treated my furbaby as if he was her own! :) She is also very responsive and professional and we truly appreciate her!”

About: I feel incredibly fortunate to have grown up in a home full of animals. Throughout my childhood in Southeast Alaska, I was surrounded by dogs, cats, mice, iguanas, and bunnies, which taught me early on the responsibility, care, and love that go into animal companionship. As an adult, I’ve continued that passion by raising three dogs and a cat. I have experience caring for pets of all ages, including senior animals. My oldest girl passed this last year at 17. Currently, I share my home with a 12-year-old tuxedo cat, a 2-year-old smaller husky mix, and a 9-month-old husky mix. I have over 20 years of experience in pet and house sitting, and I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a wide variety of furry and feathered friends during that time. I am compassionate, attentive, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m also comfortable administering medications and maintaining established routines to ensure your pet feels safe and at ease. I have a welcoming, pet-friendly home that’s a perfect balance of leisure and playtime. My dogs love fetch and running around together and we’re conveniently located near trails and parks for pets who enjoy walks and outdoor adventures. I work a flexible part-time schedule so your pet will have plenty of companionship throughout the day, along with a calm environment for rest and relaxation when needed. My home is designed for comfort and pets are welcome to get as cozy as they like. I currently work part time with a very flexible schedule. The hours I’m available for are 6AM-9PM but also happy do discuss boarding and pet/house sitting. I’m happy to follow your pets routines to keep them feeling safe and comfortable at all times. Neighborhood walks and trips to the park, whatever your furry friend needs I can provide.
“Annika is a fantastic dog walker! professional, friendly, courteous, and flexible with schedule changes. I'm just jealous that my dog's get more excited for walks with Annika than they do for me 🤣 😂”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats my entire life. Throughout my life I have also volunteered with several different animal non profits. I can't imagine my life without the companionship of my dogs and I would love to share that love helping you out with yours. I work full-time, but have a super flexible schedule. I have plenty of time in my day-to-day to help you out with your cat or dog. I have a fenced yard and two dogs of my own but because of their high maintenance personalities I think my services are best focused caring for your pets in your environment or on walks.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cathedral Park
A wonderful dog walker, who deals with a pup that will eat anything, but more importantly, a great person that is superbly friendly when you happen upon him and his pup walking the streets of St Johns. Both I and Frankie are so thankful for his professionalism, kindness, and ability to change schedules on short notice, plus he is great about communicating any delays or scheduling issues that arise.
