Information Bryan W. would like to know about your pet

Let me know if your dog has any idiosyncrasies I should be aware of. I've worked with dogs who won't go on walks, who are reactive to dogs/cats/humans/squirrels/the wind, and even deaf and special needs dogs.

A typical day

I usually play fetch or tug-o-war with the dog/s I'm sitting. Also, love to try out any tricks or obedience training you're working on to make sure they're mentally/physically entertained!

Pet care experience

Hello Pet Parents, Bryan here! I'm 39 years old, living in North Portland. I grew up with a golden retriever/best friend Willow who lived to the ripe old age of 16! I love all animals, but have the most experience dog/cat sitting for the past 6 years. I once watched 12 pets at one time (7 cats/4 dogs/1 rabbit) for 2 weeks and kept them calm, cared for through the worst storm of the year. I know all pets have different needs and comfort levels, & look forward to providing the best possible care for your animal family!

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch our pup Arlo for a long weekend. This was our first time using Rover and we usually leave our separation anxiety dog with friends that he already knows and trusts, so we wanted to find someone we felt we could trust too. Bryan was exceptional. Arlo warmed up to him and his home super quickly. Bryan made sure Arlo got all of his daily medication and got enough attention and exercise throughout the weekend. He communicated with us frequently, sending pictures and updates about walks and dog park trips and socialization with other dogs. We will definitely be booking with Bryan again and highly recommend him to anyone, especially pet owners in the St John’s area!!

Bryan took excellent care of our girls while we were out of town. He sent daily pics and updates which allowed us the opportunity to really relax and enjoy our vacation. It was also so nice to come home to a house that’s in the same (if not better) condition as we left it. We would love to use Bryan again in the future!

Bryan does so well with our big dog. He communicates well. I’m relieved when I know Bryan will be with Brock.
