“Bobby is great! He took our high-energy dog on a nice long walk and sent a great update and great pictures. He came over for a meet and greet prior and was really attentive and asked good questions. We’re looking forward to more walks with Bobby!”

“Alex was wonderful with our puppy Wayne! We came home to a clearly well cared for pup - he was thrilled to see us, but clearly had had a good time - he was very much his silly, happy self after our first trip away. Our feeding instructions were met perfectly, and we got updates and communication whenever we needed. Would definitely book with Alex again.”

“My dog Opie loves Kira! She’s is super kind and very responsive. There was a day that my dog wasn’t feeling very good and had an accident which Kira handled! I’m very thankful to have her help!”

About: Your dog(s) will be accompanied by my own two dogs, who I’ve raised from puppyhood, should you choose for them to stay at my home, with its spacious fenced back and front yard. I am a low volume boarder. I can host a maximum of two dogs other than my own. If you only have one dog, I may be hosting one additional dog for a separate client simultaneously. I have gates set up in my home to cordon off three separate areas as needed. I want your dog’s home away from home to be a relaxing environment for them and everyone else involved. I’m not working a “regular job”, so am very flexible regarding time. Weekends work fine for me, and feel free to reach out at short notice. I have a detached house set back far from the sidewalk. It has CENTRAL AC - essential for the warmer months. A section of the front yard is fenced, and the backyard is large and fully fenced. The landscaped section of the backyard is fully cedar chipped to control mud and dust. I have a gating system installed to create three enclosures within my house to separate unrelated dogs as needed
“Byron was so easy to work with! So glad we were able to find someone local a bit last minute, and really looking forward to working with him again in the future.”

“Elizabeth has been wonderful with Poppy! Everything was so last minute and she's been accommodating, communicative, and I've felt incredibly comfortable and happy with leaving my pup in her care for walks.”

“Kate was so sweet and personable! She genuinely has a love for dogs and treated my furbaby as if he was her own! :) She is also very responsive and professional and we truly appreciate her!”

“Peter clearly loves dogs and is very affectionate with Pip, giving scratches & all the attention she asks for from a new friend while making sure to keep her safe.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life, and have an extra soft spot for big dogs. Right now I have a special needs husky-shepherd rescue who has taught me so much. I am a certified trainer who utilizes positive reinforcement training techniques and I tailor my curriculum to fit each individual dog. I look forward to meeting your pups! I have a flexible work from home schedule so I’m available most days and times of the week! I prefer at least one day notice for most services. I’m waiting to move to a bigger space before I’m able to offer any boarding services, but would love to start doing that as soon as I can.
About: I’ve taken care of all animals since a young age. I strive to be someone reliable that you can count on and trust with your babies! I have a very flexible schedule since I have my own business and would be more than willing to help other people out with their pet care needs and would make sure to be reliable and always communicate! Making sure that the fur babies have love and feel safe with me is most important so gaining that animals trust. I am a big spoiler and love to play with them and cuddle them! I have a dog of my own so I have experience in everything. Feeding, walking, administering medication, etc…. And also taking to appointments!
“Rachel was very quick to respond and communicated with me really well so we could get Ruby's weekend walks set up before we left town. She was extremely reliable while we were gone - Rachel and Ruby got along really well! We'll definitely be reaching out again when we need held and would definitely recommend.”

About: I was raised as an animal lover in a home with two dogs, two cats, and one bearded dragon! My appreciation extends to creatures great and small -- I have performed some light farm-sitting. I have pet & house-sat since highschool and I feel comfortable and confident with: large dogs, reactive dogs, pets with special medication needs, and skittish or hostile cats. I want to make sure your pet is getting the care they need from me; I can give pets and comfort to a senior kitty, or make sure your pup has sniffed everything in a one mile radius! I'm currently working part time and I should have flexible availability for what service you're looking for. Please feel free to message me about any specifics you have questions about! I want to ensure your pet's routine stays as close to usual as possible so they are happy and healthy! When I've cared for reactive dogs, I did my best to walk routes that avoided potential triggers. To follow medication schedules, I will try my hardest to trick even the most suspicious pet into taking their medicine. I will take care of your pet as you'd like me to!
About: Hello there! My name is Amanda, and I have two fur babies (Sasha and Maddy) and would love to care for yours! My dad has been a huge animal lover my whole life, saving animals off the streets, nursing them to health, and helping them find a good home. Growing up, we had many animals, primarily dogs, and cats, and I helped care for them. I have experience with medications for cats as one of my cats needs daily prescriptions. Sasha has asthma so I have experience with a cat inhaler and also has received pills in the past. I have a passion for animals and their well-being. I will care for your pets like I would my own. If any special requests or extra care are needed, I am happy to do so. When I enter your home, I do so cautiously, so no one can escape! I'm currently working full-time remotely and can work my schedule around your pets' needs. I am available from 8 am - 8 pm daily but can be flexible. I do have a fenced yard that friends' pets have used in the past to run around. Since I have two cats in the home, I don't allow dogs in my home.
Kenton dog parents share their Rover experiences
A wonderful dog walker, who deals with a pup that will eat anything, but more importantly, a great person that is superbly friendly when you happen upon him and his pup walking the streets of St Johns. Both I and Frankie are so thankful for his professionalism, kindness, and ability to change schedules on short notice, plus he is great about communicating any delays or scheduling issues that arise.
