“So grateful to find Shannon in a pinch today. She was so awesome easy pick up easy drop off and I seem to like rocket loved her.. would definitely book her again in the future”

“Alex was very friendly and punctual. He took great care of my little two guys for a solid week and a half. The pictures were great and I was more than assured that my dogs not only were well taken care of, but were having a great time or there. Book Alex with full confidence.”

“Wow! Bobby is wonderful! Truly kind, above and beyond thoughtful, responsible, enthusiastic, and clearly a dog whisperer! I so appreciate just how much he cared for my pup and can’t wait to have him back again! What a gift!”

“Phoebe did an amazing job with my husky and Great Pyrenees, who can both be difficult. I was anxious to ask for help but Phoebe was so kind, patient and attentive. She relieved me of so much stress and took phenomenal care of my pups. I would highly recommend her to everyone!”

About: I have experience with cats and dogs of all ages, shapes, sizes, and personality. I have trained puppies before (and even my cat can do tricks) as well have helped care for elderly pets who need extra attention. I am very skilled at reading animal body language and finding the right way to connect with each unique furry friend. My schedule is very open! I currently see clients on Tuesday afternoons/evenings for an internship, but otherwise my schedule is open and flexible. There are occasional dates where I have other obligations, but I generally am able to work with most schedules. NOTE: Not looking to house sit for longer than 3 days at a time. I am very respectful of the spaces of others, and aim to leave no trace other than my care for your pets. I am training to be a therapist/counselor, so I very much understand how fundamental mutual trust, boundaries, and communication are in a healthy working relationship and take that extremely seriously regardless of what service I am providing.
“Our 17-month old Boxer is full of energy and we haven’t yet trained him to stop pulling on leash. He was staying with his senior grandparents while we traveled, so we hired Victoria to take him on a long daily walk since she knows how to handle a strong dog. Victoria was great! She was timely every day, communicated well before and during the week she walked our pup, and sent great report cards. She asked our thoughts on walking her dog with ours, which we enthusiastically endorsed - our dog loves friends. Her dog and ours had a great time together and our puppy was thrilled when Victoria arrived every day. This was a great experience for us and our puppy.”

About: When I was 12 I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society caring for and walking dogs of all ages and behavioral levels. I volunteered at the OHS until I turned 18 when I began working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility, as well as pet-sitting. As a dog handler I spent time 1:1 time with dogs, distributing medication, and moderating large groups. Currently, I take many of those same dogs on weekly hikes, adventures, dog walks and work on basic obedience. As a dog owner myself, I participate in dog sports, service dog training and canine conditioning with my young dog and senior dog. Additionally, I am in the process of becoming a certified dog training (CPDT-KA) and certified behavioral adjustment trainer (CBATI-KA). I work a flexible part-time job, allowing me the time to provide 1:1 fun and intentional care of your pet, that works for you and your schedule. I will confidently and responsibly listen to and take action to provide the support both you and your pet(s) need. Whether it is walks, play, adventures, potty breaks, medication or basic training, I am here for you and your pet.

“Jenni is great. She has helped us get our high energy dog out for walks while we are at work. She is patient with our little pup, and he always seems happy on days they walk. She always takes great pictures of our dog, and is very communicative about what is going on with our dog. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Emily did great for a first meeting and walk with our pup. She can be slow to warm up and Emily was patient and very honest and communicative with how the visit went. Appreciate the extra step of cleaning up a mess our kitties made that wasn’t on the bill!”

About: I have worked at a doggie day care, dog walked and dog sat for years, and trained both of my personal dogs. My last dog was a reactive German Shepard so I have experience with leash reactive dogs. I try to do research and stay up to date on important animal care info and training! My schedule is changeable, but currently very flexible. I am planning on making it more routine and I am open throughout the week and during the weekends. I have a one year old border collie mix. I walk her twice a day, training everyday, and I take her on hikes and adventures on days off/ the weekend! I love to be active and if your dog is friendly I am happy to bring them along on our adventures!
“Mark was fantastic with Oso and was good at being firm but gentle. Oso seemed happy and pleasantly tired! Definitely would have Mark walk him again and would recommend Mark!”

About: We have taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and needs our whole lives. Both of us love the quirkiness of all pets, especially rescue doggos. My partner and I can be there for your pet, just as we are there for our dog 24/7. Between my partner and I, there will always be someone with eyes, love, and attention on your pets. We are very hands on and like to play with your pets. We will walk to the park, nap, watch TV, and listen to records together if that is what your dog wants!

About: I have been on Rover for about 5 years now. I have taken care of multiple animals during my time. It brings me joy caring for animals. I will make sure your animal has the best time while your away :) I have grown up surrounded by dogs my whole life. I have two German Shepards at home that are full of energy and very playful. I feed them, pick up after them, and most importantly play! We also have a small multipoo dog in our home as well. Being surrounded by dogs my whole life has made me feel very comfortable around them. My old housemate had a cat that loved to play with toys. He cuddled with you but only when he wants (but I’ll take it). He was a very friendly cat. I just love animals and nurturing a comfortable environment for them to be in. I took a break from Rover but I am happy to be back! My schedule is open and I am committed to your needs. I can be flexible if needed! When visiting a client's home, I will ensure that their pet is well taken care of with all their needs met. I want to make sure your pet is comfortable, safe, and treated like family. I am very careful of any special instructions, medications, or routines and follow them closely. Your home will be left exactly as I found it!!
“Hanna was awesome. We were in a pinch when our usual walker had to cancel last minute right before we went on a 2 week trip, and Hanna came through! Hanna put us at ease and completely brought our stress level down! Most importantly my puppers had some good adventures :)”

Ching was absolutely wonderful with my pups. She was reliable, communicative, and made me feel completely comfortable knowing they are in great hands. My dogs clearly enjoyed spending time with her. I would happily book with Ching again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind dog walker!

Chris went above and beyond all expectations while he was caring for Winnie. He made sure she got plenty of exercise, took her on trips to new parks, and sent lots of picture updates. He was very easy to communicate with as well. I will absolutely be requesting his services in the future over any other sitter I’ve used. would give more than 5 stars if I could!

A wonderful dog walker, who deals with a pup that will eat anything, but more importantly, a great person that is superbly friendly when you happen upon him and his pup walking the streets of St Johns. Both I and Frankie are so thankful for his professionalism, kindness, and ability to change schedules on short notice, plus he is great about communicating any delays or scheduling issues that arise.
