I am open for any pet care needs on Mondays through Wednesdays. I work 8 hours in office on Thursday through Sunday so completely understand if that’s too long for a potty break. Otherwise, I am happy to dog sit on those days. I’m always proactive about communication and transparent about my availability to ensure reliable care.

I like to arrange a meet-and-greet with your pet in advance so we can get acquainted! I appreciate knowing how well they interact with other dogs, reactions to cats/squirrels/critters, scavenging or foraging habits, and potty routine. It’s also helpful to know about any triggers or sensitivities they may have (such as loud noises, strangers, or separation anxiety), daily routine, training cues, and general house rules.
A typical day
It depends on the dog, but I enjoy going on walks to keep them physically and mentally engaged, whether that's letting them stop and sniff or playing fetch. I match their energy, whether it is zoomies in the yard or a more mellow hang. And of course, plenty of pets and scratches are always included!

Pet care experience
Hi! I work a full-time job Thursday through Sunday, but am completely available Monday through Wednesday for your pet needs whether that be a walk or drop-in visits! I’m especially excited to give my time, attention, and love to your pets while you’re away. I’ve cared for a mix of breeds and personalities, from shy or anxious dogs to highly energetic ones and I take pride in adapting to each pet’s unique needs. I pay close attention to body language and behavior to build trust and ensure they feel safe and comfortable.

Emily looked after our one year-old puppy for a couple days while we had to go out of town at the last minute. Murphy seemed happy and content when we got home and the house was in great shape. Emily also looked out for packages that got delivered and helped bring those in. Thank you so much!
