We mentioned that if Peanut wants to go outside just keep eyes on her. Emma let Peanut bake in the sun and have some fresh air which is always a good thing and ushered her in when her time was up. About: I adore all animals, available for drop-ins, walks, and puppy play dates with my dog. I’m currently self-training a wonderful psychiatric service dog, Sobek (still in training). Together we have taken a large number of classes, passed the CGC, volunteered with Oregon Humane Training, canine PT, and had a whole lot of fun along the way. I am familiar with positive reenforcement, force free, settle training, crate training, socialization, clicker training, agility and capturing calm behaviors. I love dogsitting and live really near North Portland VCA should there ever be an emergency. If your dog is a good leash walker, they'll get at least two walks per day; otherwise, we'll see how it goes! There is opportunity for backyard play, but I depend on walking to ensure dogs get the movement they need. There are no pets in my house at this time, so as long as your dog gets along with people, the relationships should be OK! No chewers, please; I do not close crate doors. I am a retired teacher, so I am mostly home but do go out for a variety of reasons during the day or evening sometimes. I have a fenced yard and spend lots of time in it with dogs during decent weather. If your very big dog is non-reactive, I would love to host your very big dog. 🐶 (I do not board puppies but do walk puppies. Just please do not ask me to close the door on a crate.) About: We have taken care of dogs of all shapes, sizes, and needs our whole lives. Both of us love the quirkiness of all pets, especially rescue doggos. While we can't afford a second dog right now we would love to have more in our home! My husband and I both work from home. I do go into the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, but he is always here. This means I get to spend a lot of one-on-one with my personal dog, providing lots of attention, walks to the park and even days at the river and wouldnt mind some more company from other dogs as well! I live in pet friendly Tiny home with a friendly yard to roam and play. My own dog loves to cuddle on my couch whenever and can certainly share the space with another dog. I do have a cooling mat and a separate pillow for my dog, so there is no shortage of comfy spaces. I love to cuddle with the pups when I can if that's their thing and giving them lots of attention while I care for them.
