I grew up with 3 cats and one dog and as an adult, I got my dog Penny, who I had for nearly 15 years. Penny had high energy, separation anxiety and severe epilepsy, so I am very comfortable with special needs animals! I also have regularly watched friend's dogs for the past 20+ years!

I am a communicative and dependable pet sitter that can care responsibly for both your pets and home (I am actually pretty good with plants too). I love to make pet owners feel as at ease as their pets by sending photo updates (photography is one of my hobbies, so prepare for pictures of your pet)!

Kali took great care of our girls over the weekend and made us feel at ease. She was communicative, sent daily updates, and clearly enjoyed spending time with them. We came home to happy pups and a well-kept home.
Kali was great with our girls!! She was super flexible with us when our plans changed last minute due to a family emergency and it was nice having peace of mind knowing our girls were in good hands. We hope to book with Kali again in the future.
Kali has a special touch with my cat ZB! She not only does the basics of feeding, giving medications, and cleaning the litterbox, but she also spends time with him in his favorite cuddle spot, talks to him about his day, and sends me cute update videos. He especially loves scritches with her long nails! She treats my pet like its her own, which is really what I'm looking for when I leave town. She is also responsible, responsive, and easy to work with as a pet-sitter. I really appreciate having found her!
Kali is our own personal Snow White. My sweet and troubled dog, Murphy, is absolutely obsessed with her and he's a very particular guy. She's one of the most empathetic, kind pet sitters we've ever had and has a high tolerance for characters! She's thorough and follows all of our detailed instructions and makes sure our sensitive guy is well cared for and loved. Murph doesn't relax with most people but he is just a sucker for her. If you're looking for someone to take as good of care as you would your own pet, look no further.
Kali has been our most trusted pet and house sitter for many years. Not only is she an expert with both dogs and cats (many of her clients refer to her as the cat whisperer, and we have four of them!), but Kali is also extremely reliable and communicative during our time away. She has handled veterinary emergencies, routine household headaches, all manner of medication administration and the wacky personalities of our pets during her time sitting for us. We have trusted her with keys to our home and have never had an issue with her. Highest recommendation!

Schedule
I moved to Portland and am currently doing only freelance work, so I can be very flexible and am happy to come by for visits or overnight stays depending on you and your pet's needs.
