“Kimo was so nice and we appreciated the meet and greet beforehand. Parker did well and seemed to enjoy having the extra walks during the day. Kimo communicated quickly and was very attentive to Parker and was respectful of our home. Highly recommend!!!!”

“Maya is so good with my senior dog Opie! She is a great communicator and has been able to provide me with a lot of flexibility surrounding my work schedule. I am able to depend on and trust her!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs from ages 4 months to 12 years! I like to learn each animals needs and modify my care for them! I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! I always ask for your preferences for your animals! Whether this includes walk length, treats and food, and even mannerisms, I always want to make sure YOU and your animals are comfortable!
About: Seeking New Furry Best Friends! Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, cuddles, or a calm companion while you're away, I'm here to provide safe, loving, and attentive care. Expert level with playful puppies to sweet senior dogs with a soft spot for seniors. I recently put my sweet old man down due to medical condition at the young age of 13, so if you have a special senior, I'm your girl! I pride myself on being dependable, punctual, and flexible. You can trust me to show up on time, communicate clearly, and provide the loving, reliable care your pet deserves. Please note- I do have a job away from my apartment, however, I do work close enough I'm able to return for breaks. It's also possible they come along with me! Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I carefully follow your pet's routine, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and any special instructions. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment while keeping a close eye on your pet. I respect your home as if it were my own and will keep you updated for peace of mind while you're away.
About: I have taken care of all ages, sizes, and reactivities of dogs since 2018. I am comfortable with giving medication and eye drops but do not have experience with injections. I am comfortable and willing to be in the home full time with your pet while you are gone (overnights). I love walks and spending time with your animal. I am understanding and accommodating of all schedules for their needs. I have provided care for senior dogs in all stages of dementia. I have a lot of experience with reactive/anxious dogs and are more than willing to meet you and your dog where they are at; meeting at a 3rd location (sniff spot, park, etc) to get to know the pet first before committing to the care. I feel comfortable with dogs who are quick to reactivity and giving extra time/space/understanding to those behaviors. I am a telehealth therapist so can work from anywhere! That being said, the times I can walk your dog will be somewhat limited to when I am in/out of session. I work mon-thurs, 9-6 but can be in the home with them all day, able to let them in/out if you have a backyard. I am consitent and able to take morning/evening walks and can usually take them on a short walk/play during my lunch from 12-1. I will not be able to accommodate your pet in my home; I have a cat of my own who is very much an only child:) I am able to and have a lot of experience being in the home with your pets, staying overnight, and providing lots of videos and pictures of your animals while you are away. I can easily crate your dog if/when needed based on their needs; I have consistent experience in crating dogs who need to be crated at night/when I leave. I have much experience understanding dogs who can only be left home alone for a certain number of hours and will always schedule my day around this while caring for your animals. I have taken care of 2+ animals in a home at a time and am comfortable/able to walk 2 dogs at the same time, or separately depending on their needs.
“Dissaya and Young were some of the best pet sitters we’ve ever had. They took the greatest pictures that showed us how our pets were doing and let us know of any problems that our pets had. I would recommend them for all your pets needs and look forward to booking them again.”

About: Hi! I have owned dogs and had a passion for pet care for as long as I can remember. I have two years of experience in a dog daycare/boarding center environment. I can administer medication, do baths, and handle high energy dogs. I am well versed in dog behaviors and language and happy to apply positive reinforcement based training habits into walks and daycare I have a German Shepard mix that I have owned for almost 4 years now that I walk daily who gets along well with most other dogs. Group walks or individual walks available. I'm working part time throughout the week and I am available most days. When I take care of someone else's pet they are always going to be treated like my own. This means lots of love and attention to detail when it comes to your instructions. I focus heavily on enrichment, play, and training to keep my walks fun and tiring. I'm comfortable handling different behaviors and keeping everyone safe and happy in the process.

“Best dog walker ever. So grateful my dog has such a caring and wonderful buddy to take her on walks while I’m at work. Highly recommend Alicia, especially for anxious dogs like mine :)”

“Yana has walked our dog Shasta many times and always takes great care of her. This weekend we asked if she would be able to help us out by feeding her dinner and breakfast at her walks and she happily helped us out. Would definitely recommend Yana!”

“Madelynn gladly helped me out last minute with an early morning walk and dog and cat feeding. You can really tell that she loves animals! Madelynn is very organized and responsible, she came when she was supposed to (earlier even, which is a good thing!) and my dog got a longer walk than expected. The daily photos and walk routes are a great feature of Rover that Madelynn used everyday. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her take care of my animals, or my house for that matter. She’s great!”

“Kat is incredible with my dog. She is very patient and in-tune with her needs. She's very communicative and I fully trust that my pets will be in good hands when they're under her care.”

“Annika is a fantastic dog walker! professional, friendly, courteous, and flexible with schedule changes. I'm just jealous that my dog's get more excited for walks with Annika than they do for me 🤣 😂”

About: Buongiorno! A little about me... I'm an Italian-American GT3 Racecar engineer who used to be a research scientist in neuropharmacology, immunology and virology. There isn't much racing in Portland, so between races I find myself at home enjoying beautiful Pacific Northwest for weeks or months at a time. I have the most amazing, smiley, 14 year old puppy, Emma, whom I’ve raised from birth. Emma is also a trained service animal. Through the years I’ve rescued many pets, volunteered for numerous shelters, foster programs and humane societies. I’m an experienced dog trainer and spent several years studying the art of canine communication, positive reinforcement dog training and animal nutrition. I have trained both service animals and regular, farmily pets. When I was attending engineering school, I worked for a health- and nutrition- based pet food store that focused on healing, and/or improving the health of pets within the community. During that time I was able to help many owners battle through allergy and food intolerance issues. I am well experienced in caring for elderly and special needs pets. I’ve cared for many large and small dogs recovering from recent hip replacements, knee surgeries, abdominal surgeries, cancer and more. In addition to my lifetime of fostering and rehabilitating sick or injured animals I spent over a decade as a research scientist in virology, immunology, biochemistry and neuropharmacology before I switched my career towards engineering. My background helps guide me in the care of the animals I love. I have a natural connection with the animal kingdom and love every opportunity in which I am blessed enough to use it. Emma and I look forward to meeting your very special farmily members. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Arrivederci e a presto! Claire & Emma

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Northwest
I reached out to Emma to help me out with my two labs after I had knee surgery. Not onlwas she understanding and worked with me when it got postponed and I had to cancel and reschedule everything. She also brought to my attention that I was being double booked which equals to begin double charged. I was completely unaware of this and could not fine on Rover where it was. Long story short she took care of it and I was refunded by rover. Now to the pup's. She's been walking them for awhile now. They love her. When they return from their walk they are happy and thirsty. We appreciate Emma so much!
