About: I have taken care of cats and dogs from ages 4 months to 12 years! I like to learn each animals needs and modify my care for them! I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! I always ask for your preferences for your animals! Whether this includes walk length, treats and food, and even mannerisms, I always want to make sure YOU and your animals are comfortable!

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: Ive taken care of friends animals sense I was 12. Bringing a calm presence, I meet them with genuine care and intention, helping them to relax. I am an entrepreneur and live down town. I walk to everything and would love to connect with animals between errands and my personal destinations. I have a variable schedule and wake early, creating lots of flexibility. I come to your space, meeting your animal on their own turf. Allowing your pet to maintain as much of their normal routine as possible, I focus on connection and helping them to remain calm.

About: I have a 4 year old excitable spaniel of my own who certainly keeps my life exciting! I have always lived with dogs and can’t imagine it any other way. But I also love cats! Nearly all my friends have cats and I have lots of experience pet-sitting for many of them. I love spending time around animals and would love to take care of yours! I have a full-time 8-5 job, but do have flexibility within my week. I wfh at least one day a week - sometimes more. Evenings and weekends are usually super open for me! But feel free to reach out about availability as my schedule fluctuates often. I have a small fenced yard with space for your pup to potty and run. I also have a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I have a crate that can be used if your pup likes a place to settle. My furniture is my dogs furniture and it would be the same for your furry friend too! I also have an animal loving roommate - so double the love.

About: I have a dog with seizures and I understand how much care is needed to care for him. I will treat your dog(s) with that same care and significance. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life! I have the most experience with bunnies, dogs, and cats but can make a connection with any pet. I care about keeping your best friend comfortable and at ease while you’re gone! I am most available on weekends and weekday early mornings before 10 am & evenings after 5pm but can offer additional availability Monday & Friday. I provide a calm and welcoming presence for animals of all types. I will make sure to build a relationship with your pet and be respectful of their space as a sitter. I believe the best animal relationships start with autonomy!
