About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I have three full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can be flexible with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I respect my client’s rules, preferences, and boundaries regarding their pets. I will avoid places they’re not supposed to go, keep them on leash at all times, socially distance them if requested, and never give them treats or food unless given owner permission.

About: I grew up in rural Oregon and have owned and rehabilitated all sorts of animals! I put myself through college by becoming a dog groomer. I worked as a dog groomer for five years :) I work full time hybrid. I go in person to cover a four hour shift once a week, otherwise I work a statistics job from home. Plenty of opportunities for potty breaks for your pets :) I have worked with and owned all animals my entire life even spiders and reptiles. Anything your pet needs to feel safe and comfortable in my presence- it is my pleasure.

From energetic malamutes who love winter hikes in Forest Park, to chill cats who want a lap and a scratch. I've handled them all. I know every pup's quirks, keep treats handy, and always come home with wagging tails and happy updates. Reliability is my thing: on time walks, clean pickups, and no drama. About: Having grown up on a farm I have been around animals my entire life. My favorite have always been dogs and cats. I have taken animal care and vet sciences in 4H and volunteered in an animal shelter. I can't imagine life without animals, they add so much joy to life. I currently work part time as a caregiver for seniors. Most of my days are 4 to 6 hours long with weekends off. I have a flexible schedule . Since my schedule is flexible I can adjust to you pets needs well so they are being fed and walked at their regular times to help reduce stress.

About: I was raised on a farm in rural Texas so most of my experience is not only cats and dogs but also chickenens, horses and cattle! Older animals have my heart :3 I currently have a bearded dragon! Currently I have no set schedule so my availability is very open meaning I can be with your pets all day. Mornings are accepted as well due to myself being an early riser. I care for each pet as of they are my own, they'll get all the attention they want and play that they need. I'm a very clean person as well so rest assured your place will not be messy or dirty when you return.

About: Hi! My name is Anika H. and currently I'm a student. Something about me that many other people may know is that I've always had a deep love for animals. My passion and knowledge for this job first started when I first met a service dog in training at girl scouts, ever since then I had the need to constantly be around dogs. The jobs on this site include everything that I absolutely love! Helping others, seeing dogs and earning experience for my future dream job. If you hire me I swear I will not let you down. I cannot wait to meet you, and I cannot wait to meet your lovely dog! I only work part time currently and my favorite thing to do to get out of the house is take my dog for a long walk, he has someone else to take care of him at home, which frees me up for your pet! I take great care to learn your pet's personal schedule and needs, I will always fill any water/food bowls, clean any litter boxes (if applicable), and make sure your pet is secure and safe.

I also have experience caring for different farm animals! I have wide ranges of availability to accommodate walking and feeding and play schedules, I work 5 days a week but always make time before during and/or after the work day to spend proper time! About: I have a dog with seizures and I understand how much care is needed to care for him. I will treat your dog(s) with that same care and significance. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.
