About: Hi! My name is Anika H. and currently I'm a student. Something about me that many other people may know is that I've always had a deep love for animals. My passion and knowledge for this job first started when I first met a service dog in training at girl scouts, ever since then I had the need to constantly be around dogs. The jobs on this site include everything that I absolutely love! Helping others, seeing dogs and earning experience for my future dream job. If you hire me I swear I will not let you down. I cannot wait to meet you, and I cannot wait to meet your lovely dog! I only work part time currently and my favorite thing to do to get out of the house is take my dog for a long walk, he has someone else to take care of him at home, which frees me up for your pet! I take great care to learn your pet's personal schedule and needs, I will always fill any water/food bowls, clean any litter boxes (if applicable), and make sure your pet is secure and safe.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs from ages 4 months to 12 years! I like to learn each animals needs and modify my care for them! I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! I always ask for your preferences for your animals! Whether this includes walk length, treats and food, and even mannerisms, I always want to make sure YOU and your animals are comfortable!

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and absolutely love spending time with them! I grew up with several dogs, including a Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Husky, so I’m very comfortable caring for and being around larger, energetic breeds. Growing up with dogs taught me how important patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love are to keeping them happy and comfortable. I currently have two cats of my own, so caring for animals is still a big part of my everyday life. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their family is away. I’d treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and longer stays as needed. Having two pets of my own also means caring for animals is already a natural part of my daily routine! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care, so I always treat both with respect. I’ll closely follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, routines, and household rules. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could affect your pet’s safety. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel comfortable and keep their routine as familiar as possible while you’re away.

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!

About: I've taken care of dogs of every kind since I was a child. My partner has also shared with me the many things they have learned from working in their mother's dog breeding business and at a company as a groomer. I have plenty of knowledge and experience and am ready to take care of your fur babies as if they were my own!! I'm currently not working at any other job than this one. This is my only source of income, so I am available all the time! I will take care of your home and pets, and bring my own needs and I will maintain the cleanliness of your home, and do as asked if there are instructions given.

About: Hi! I’m a huge animal lover and have cared for just about every kind of pet over the years — dogs, cats, birds, frogs, chickens, and more. I currently have a cat named Karen… and yes, she absolutely lives up to her name 😹 I’ve done dog walking and pet sitting for friends for years and am comfortable with pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I also work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be reliable and attentive with walks, drop-ins, and visits. Whether your doggo needs exercise or your meower just wants some company and cuddles, I’m happy to help! I work from home, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I’m available most weekdays and weeknights, and can also accommodate some weekends depending on the request. At this time I’m unable to board pets in my home, but I do offer dog walking and drop-in visits in clients’ homes. I always aim to make pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their familiar environment. For dogs, that may look like walks, playtime, fresh water/food, potty breaks, and lots of attention. For cats and other pets, I’m happy to help with feeding, litter box cleaning, playtime, cuddles (if they want them!), and general check-ins. I understand every pet has a different personality and routine, and I do my best to follow their normal schedule closely while you’re away.

About: I have a dog with seizures and I understand how much care is needed to care for him. I will treat your dog(s) with that same care and significance. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.

From energetic malamutes who love winter hikes in Forest Park, to chill cats who want a lap and a scratch. I've handled them all. I live near South Waterfront and right outside my door is a walking path that’s perfect for long dog walks by the river but also leads to many parks and dog parks. My services include walking (in your neighborhood or mine), house sitting, and drop-in visits. My schedule is flexible and can likely accommodate yours. I will bring a positive, patient presence to your pet and like to let them set the pace for how quickly we get comfortable with each other. I’m happy to give photo updates as I know how the peace of mind check-ins can make. I currently work remotely full time which allows flexibility to care for your pets. I can pop over for walks, check-ins and/or house sit as needed depending on times, date, location. I work hard to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of your pet. Whether cat or dog, I will feed, water, and provide care according to your preferences. For dog walking in my neighborhood, your pet will have river trail access and close to several green spaces just outside my front door.

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats in people’s homes since I was 16! I’ve pet-sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I’m in graduate school with a part-time job with hours that vary. However, I usually have more than enough time to squeeze in a visit or walk here and there! I always approach pets with care, knowing that each dog and cat is different from the next. I can best care for your pet by following any instructions you provide!
