I am relocating to the Portland, Oregon area this summer, and am so excited! I will be working only part time from home this summer, and therefore will have full availability to stay at your home and care for your pets. Would love to help you with your summer plans and allow for you to travel where you need to go while your pets and your home are in good hands. I plan to spend my days exploring the hiking trails so if your dog likes hikes and can join, I’d love that! Other than that, I’ll be spending most of my time enjoying the Portland neighborhoods and chilling with your pets.

I match the vibe of every pet I watch. High-energy pup? We’ll go on sniff walks, play fetch, and have fun little adventures. Chill older pets? We’ll enjoy sunbathing, slow strolls, and cozy snuggles. Cats? Feather wands, window watching, and respectful “I’ll sit here while you judge me” time. Whatever their personality, whether chaotic, regal, shy, social, or silly, I make sure they get fun and enriching moments every day.

Will have limited availability in Santa Barbara** I’ve cared for animals my whole life and naturally connect with them. I’m calm, patient, and attentive, and I take time to understand each pet’s personality and needs. I also cared for my own senior dog for years, who lived to 15, which meant administering medications, moving at her pace, keeping routines gentle, and making sure she stayed comfortable and healthy in her senior years. I have experience caring for senior cats as well, and I’m very comfortable supporting animals that need extra patience or special attention. I keep a clean space, and pride myself on being responsible and reliable. I’ve watched multiple dogs at once in other people’s homes, from high-energy pups who love adventure to low-energy or anxious dogs who need quiet reassurance. Your pet will get genuine companionship, safety, and lots of love.

We needed someone to care for our super senior 17 year old that needs multiple oral medications, to be carried up and down steps, and occasionally has accidents in the house and Madison was up for the task for all of it. She took great care of our pup and our home while she stayed here. She was communicative, punctual and responsible. We will definitely use her again in the future.
We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter over the holidays. Madison took wonderful care of our dogs and went above and beyond in caring for our home as well. During the big rainstorm, she even brought items in from the yard and made sure our mail was brought in, which wasn't expected but was so appreciated. Our dogs were happy, safe, and well cared for. We would absolutely book with Madison again. Highly recommend!
We had such a great experience with Madison! She responded incredibly quickly, was super easy to communicate with, and answered all of our questions without hesitation. Throughout the day she kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. We were so lucky to find Madison and get to know her initially through her plantcare work. We were thrilled when she agreed to stay with our two dogs for a month last summer! Her happy, bright spirit are the perfect match for our five year old French Bulldog and twelve year old Tibetan Terrier. Providing lots of snuggles, activites, and attention we were able to enjoy every minute of our time away knowing our dogs were being responsibly cared for with love. Madison also took great care of our home including managing the pool and hot tub, bringing in mail, and even running a couple of annoying errands I had forgotten about. It is an honor to wholeheartedly recommend Madison for care of you pets, but selfishly I wish we could just keep her to ourselves because now I know she will be booked up!
