Nice to meet you! I go by Taylor and I love this job~! I take care of pets of any size and breed. I have especially gotten good with befriending bigger dogs and the "bully" breeds that always end up being the biggest sweethearts of all. I try to be as loving and attentive as I can be, and both my partner and I try to exude the 'cool-auntie' vibe while the parents are away. I take plenty of pictures and if there is a pet friendly event going on nearby I will always try to take the more social-forward pups to them so long as their parents are cool with it! More about me: I love having dogs around, I have had them around me my whole life, and, it feels weird when there isn't a pup just hanging about. Both my partner and I are big homebodies and love playing and hanging out with them all day so every pup is going to get a ton of attention with us while staying here. Medication administration and special needs: Neither are a problem, be it pills for anxiety or more serious rigid schedules like heart meds, or injections for diabetes, or a pup has a physical issue like blindness or deafness-- I have helped and taken care of all sorts; So long as the pet-parent is forward with information and willing to go in to detail about that care, we can figure out a strategy to make sure they get the best for their pup while under my watch!

Taylor is the person I’ve been looking for to care for my dog for 6 years! Our pup Dylan had such a great time hanging out with Taylor and Liv! He’s normally very shy around new people, but from the pictures we got he looked comfy and at ease with them! Taylor did an amazing job caring for our pup and always kept us updated, since it was the first boarding night!

Taylor and Liv are far and away my dog Midna’s favorite sitters! You can see it in how excited she gets when I drop her off with them. You can tell they both really care about the pets they’re watching, enjoy spending time with them, and always go above and beyond with extra treats and activities. Taylor is super communicative and always sends lots of great pics. I’ve had to leave Midna with sitters multiple times per month over the last year for work and it was always so reassuring when she stayed with Taylor because I knew she’d be happy and well taken care of.
Our pups had such a great time with Taylor and Liv. We felt at ease knowing they were in great hands. They were comfortable with administering meds, managing their reactivity, and ensuring our pups were comfortable.
Taylor (Brett) is the BEST we have ever had to care for any of our furry babies. Even before we left for our trip we felt completely assured that she was going to be so loved and so well taken care of. As someone leaving their pet for the 1st time at the young age of only a year and a half, this meant the world to us! Besides that Taylor made sure to send awesome pictures of our baby girl on a daily basis, in spite of issues with the Rover app on a certain days, and other mishaps, she never let us wonder how our Ayida is doing? She also exposed to her so many new spaces, spots and sights, making it a vacation for Ayida as well!! Moreover, Taylor and her lovely partner went above and beyond by giving Ayida a bath. Considering Ayida hates water, we can only imagine how much trouble that must have been but they did it anyways even though it was not expected at all!We are so incredibly grateful for everything Taylor supported by her lovely partner did for our Ayida and would love to have her stay with Taylor every time we need to travel. She is our person for Ayida forever!

Schedule
I’m currently only working in, and seeking work for pet care so your furbaby would be my main focus. I have been in Portland for over a year now and have gotten used to the hustle and bustle of the city I have fallen in love with. I enjoy taking care of the animals who live here, and getting to know the people who call the little ones family.

I pride myself on being very attentive to pets needs and actions. Keeping an eye on them, chatting with them, playing with them, letting them out or taking them for walks, I like being the best fur-friend I can be while also respecting the environment I am in, while also respecting the clients wishes.
A typical day
Over the day I would be playing with the little ones I am watching over all throughout if they were trying to initiate, keeping them close by to lavish in headrubs and scritches while we hang out in between. Taking them out as they show need for potty breaks and a walk in the morning at night .
