About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and absolutely love spending time with them! I grew up with several dogs, including a Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Husky, so I’m very comfortable caring for and being around larger, energetic breeds. Growing up with dogs taught me how important patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love are to keeping them happy and comfortable. I currently have two cats of my own, so caring for animals is still a big part of my everyday life. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their family is away. I’d treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and longer stays as needed. Having two pets of my own also means caring for animals is already a natural part of my daily routine! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care, so I always treat both with respect. I’ll closely follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, routines, and household rules. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, and anything else that could affect your pet’s safety. Most importantly, I want your pet to feel comfortable and keep their routine as familiar as possible while you’re away.

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!

About: I have owned several dogs throughout my life. Most recently a border/aussie mix , I called him border awesome for 14 years and he spent everyday with me until his passing. I currently help care for two golden retrievers. I have a safe and comfortable home with a yard. I can host or come to where service is needed the most. Open to young and old owners and pets. I feel dogs and animals can sense people the best, once your pet meets me, they will feel comfortable knowing I will care for them with love and respect! VIP Love Care! I'm currently working part-time and have some time that I can spare to help support you and your pets's needs with confidence. I have a family of a 3 year old and wife, both dog lovers and open to hosting pets in our home. We have separate space and have gates if needed. Great neighbor park dog park and community for walks. Lots of fresh air, love , exercise etc. !! Can accommodate giving medications or tending to special diets/needs

I am a circus artist and an animal lover and will care for your best friend as if they were mine. I can walk your pet, play ball with them, or simply make sure they are comfortable and happy! Feel free to send me specific directions if your dog has a particular allergy, diet or requires any play or exercise. I live with a puppy and a kitten and I love them dearly so unfortunately for the time being I am unable to host. My puppy is staying with grandma until next week so I have some availability these days. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or mellow and easy going, I will match their mood and make sure they have the best possible time while away from you. I look forward to meeting your pet! Lastly, I want to make sure no one has to come home to a messy space and will ensure you bedding, kitchen and common areas are clean and ready for you to relax when you return. If you would like me to also do a deep clean of your home or any specific area, I am happy to add that as an additional service :) I work from home so and am available most days! Id be happy to work alongside your fur baby or check on them and take them out during my breaks. My services include walking (in your neighborhood or mine), house sitting, and drop-in visits. My schedule is flexible and can likely accommodate yours. I will bring a positive, patient presence to your pet and like to let them set the pace for how quickly we get comfortable with each other. I’m happy to give photo updates as I know how the peace of mind check-ins can make. I currently work remotely full time which allows flexibility to care for your pets. I can pop over for walks, check-ins and/or house sit as needed depending on times, date, location. I work hard to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of your pet. Whether cat or dog, I will feed, water, and provide care according to your preferences. For dog walking in my neighborhood, your pet will have river trail access and close to several green spaces just outside my front door.
