About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!

About: Hi! I’m Sarah. I’m new to Rover and currently taking a break from my role as an Event Director. I thought there couldn’t be a better way to spend this time than giving some extra love and attention to dogs. I grew up with dogs my entire life and have missed having one around every day. My first dog was a Dalmatian, and later I had a Bichon Poodle who completely stole my heart. While I’m not in a place to have a dog of my own full time right now, I finally have the time, flexibility, and space to care for yours as if they were my own. About: I’ve taken care of my own two cats since 2020 and sat my friends’ dogs occasionally! I love animals and my sister-in-law is a vet! My schedule changes week to week! Normally I can sit during the evenings, sometimes I could do days as well. I’m usually free on weekends! We live in a townhouse with two cats. I could come to your place to provide care for your fur babies. We also have space in our house to keep your cats.

About: I’ve been taking care of friends and families animals since I was 15. I’ve taken care of puppies and senior dogs ranging from small to large. I love the experience of connecting with new animals and being able to provide a little more love when they need it. Families have relied on me to stay overnight and care for their animals, feed, walk and entertain them when they are busy or unable to provide care at the time. I currently work at a doggy daycare where I monitor playgroups of up to 60 dogs at a time, feed and administer meds nightly. I am currently a server working about 20 hours a week. My shifts are typically fairly short so luckily I can spend lots of time with your pups. I am very attentive to the pets I am caring for I always want to make sure our fuzzy friends are safe and always entertained
