About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I have three full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can be flexible with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I respect my client’s rules, preferences, and boundaries regarding their pets. I will avoid places they’re not supposed to go, keep them on leash at all times, socially distance them if requested, and never give them treats or food unless given owner permission.

About: I have never been without pets in my life and adore the opportunity to befriend as many new ones as I can. It's important to me that both you and your fur babies are as comfortable as possible and I'm happy to accommodate what is needed to ensure everyone is at ease and as happy as possible. I will give them the best possible care I can and look forward to collaborating with you to learn about what that entails (pun intended). I currently am available throughout the week at most times, so I'm happy to accommodate your schedule as best I can. I'm sure we can find a time that works for you. I prioritize the comfort of your animal. However they need to be approached and attended to is fine by me. If a treat will buy their affection, fantastic! But I'm also fine to just sit with them quietly for a while if they need some time to feel safe.

I’m excited about integrating pet care into my adjustment back to the Portland lifestyle, with anything from dog walks to pet sitting in new areas of town. I have an incredibly flexible schedule that will meet the needs of individuals and families to ensure your furry friend is well taken care of. Being an animal person, attention and pet-based care are my highest priority. If your dog is active, I will happily take them on adventures and if they are a couch potato who loves to cuddle, then a calm day/weekend is always appreciated. Having a high energy dog myself, I understand and respect the specific needs of each animal for them to be their best self.
