I am an appointment based nail tech, so I don’t have a very regular schedule. I rarely take more than a few appointments a week at the moment, so my availability is very open. Any appointments I do have are usually between 1-4 hours max, and I do my best to schedule around my animal clients needs :)

I have always had a deep love for animals. I have been lucky to grow up learning to care for and love many different animals; from house cats to horses. I have learned to be responsible, dedicated, and patient with every animal, and I understand that every animal has their own needs and preferences. Safety, transparency, and trust are very important to me and I put a lot of care into my work. I also will always put effort into leaving your house as clean if not cleaner than when I arrived! I want your time away from your furry family member to be as stress free as possible.

Please let me know about any medications your pet takes, as well as any restrictions they have. I have experience with pilling both cats and dogs. I also would love to know about their likes and dislikes. No request is too small or too big-I am happy to go the extra mile to ensure that your pet is comfortable and as happy as possible! Whether your dog needs a lullaby to sleep or your cat needs their food a certain temperature, I have heard it all and will happily do my best to give them the level of comfort and care that they deserve :)
A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks, the dog park (if requested), playing fetch and running around with them. Playful animals are so much fun! I will make sure your pet is stimulated and happy under my care. I also absolutely love to curl up with a cat for lots of pets and cuddles. I have very long nails that cats seem to enjoy receiving scratches from :)

Pet care experience
I have experience with all kinds of animals! I grew up spending lots of time on farms; horseback riding and caring for all sorts of critters. For several years I worked at a couple of different animal rescue organizations back home in California, where I looked after many dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, etc, all from different backgrounds and with different needs. I am also a bit of a houseplant collector, so I am happy to take care of any plant needs you may have while away :)

Carmen was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our cats and I know they had the best time playing and hanging out with her. She sent wonderful updates, we will definitely be booking with her again!
Carmen was punctual, personable, & kind. Cooper took to her right away and she took care of him on their visits. It was super hot out and she made sure he had water and they didn’t overdo it- highly recommend!
Carmen was so accommodating and kind when watching Ollie. Her communication was great and very appreciated, I would certainly have her watch my cat again. Thank you!!
Othello has had a really rough transition this month and especially sad and he was immediately comfortable with Carmen. She was extremely communicative and responsive.
