I came home about 15 minutes before when I had planned for Leah to show up because I forgot some thing and I saw that my little dogs dewclaw must have gotten stuck on something because it was bleeding. Sure enough Leah came right through the door as expected, all smiles. She made me feel so much calmer about the injury and even had materials in her bag that I needed to wrap my pup’s claw. She is truly a gift to dogs and people everywhere.”

About: I’ve always had a passion for animals, since I was a young girl. I have worked in vet clinics with much experience on the animals that aren’t so happy to see us. I have minor experience training puppies, and have had many of my own senior dogs that have needed routine care. I work short shifts for a small restaurant, so I will be able to provide proper care to your pets with a properly made schedule! I treat every animals home as if it is my own. Keeping everything tightly, and always picking up after your pets. I am always ensuring that I make sure I’ve picked up after myself too. While making sure that your pet always has the enrichment they desire!

About: I have grown up with dogs, both large and small. While experiencing dogs in their later years, and also caring for puppies is something I am very familiar with. I have been house and pet-sitting for most of my life, and am happy to be a part of the animals lives, even if it is only a few days! When your pets are older, I understand the difficulty experienced when leaving them with someone you would consider a stranger. However, I have a lot of experience with animals of old age, many medications and schedules they often come with are completely attainable for me, and I enjoy making sure they are comfortable and cared for. For younger dogs, I have 2 myself, both of witch joined my family at a few months old, and have gained the experience in dealing with potty-training and other things that come along with young dogs. I am a college student and will be available to care for your pets and/or house over holidays and summer, I love your animals and am exited to make even a small impact on their lives! Like I said before, I am a college student and will not be available for most of the school year, however, I am wide open for a month in December, and Thanksgiving/ Spring Break. Additionally I will be home from mid May to the end of August. I am completely able to adjust my daily routine to your pets needs, and am open to staying at your house over the course of your absence, whatever is needed and requested is attainable for me. When caring for a pet in their own home, I try my best to make sure their routine is the same, many animals can get very anxious when their owner has left, so ensuring they eat, walk, and play at similar times of the day is crucial to their comfortability. Spending time with the animals is also important to me, whether that be simply giving some love or taking them for walks, I enjoy getting to know your pets!
