About: Though I have spent most of my pet quality time with cats, I love my canine friends, too! My work in pet product sales has required knowledge of dog behavior and sensitivities, and it hasn't been unusual to get hands-on while helping find a toy or fit a harness. I'm patient, detail oriented, and conscientious about food and medical needs. I want your pals to have a great experience in my care! My schedule is consistent and predictable, so I can tell you exactly when I'm available and make sure we'll be a good fit. I occasionally work nights, but never overnight. I have full respect for the safety of your pets, and your home. I am alert and aware of our surroundings on walks, and am comfortable with any security measures I am asked to take for the pets' (and their home's) best interest.

About: I come from a very large family (7 sisters 3 brothers) and we grew up with dogs, cats and other animals my entire life. I’ve also had my own dogs and cats as an adult and do pet sitting for my mom and siblings Currently looking for employment so I have a lot of free time ( will update once that changes). Recently moved to Portland and don’t have any pets currently to take up my time. I follow client care instructions to the letter. I love taking walks and exploring the city so I’ll make sure your dog has been worked out if they have a lot of energy. About: I have been surrounded by animals since childhood, growing up on my grandparents’ farm with cows, chickens, pigs, cats, and dogs. But when I was around 8 years old, I was bitten by a trained guard dog that came off the chain in the neighbor’s house, it left me with a deep fear and a stutter. For years, I kept my distance from dogs and found comfort mostly with cats. When I moved to New York City as young adult I met Alex, a family dog who truly healed me. First time I spent an entire month caring for him while his family was away, we formed a bond that transformed my relationship with dogs forever. Since then, I’ve been lucky to be part of a vibrant dog-lover community in NYC, where me and my ex-partner would often board dogs, take them for adventures to the beach or outdoor cafe with us, swing by dog run daily even if we didn't walk a pup just to be with the community, celebrated countless dog birthdays, attended multiple dog Halloween parades, and in our group we just always had dogs. Even for the New Years Eve we would often have 5-8 dogs running around the house where we would all gather. I have experience taking furry friends for doctor’s appointments, taking medications, brushing teeth, cutting nails, washing, walking multiple dogs (small and large together), managing pets with anxiety (like fireworks), cared for dogs of all ages, pups and elderly. I am also really good at feeding dogs the needed vegetables, playing fetch, and just catching their moods, needs, and giving unconditional love. I love learning about their personalities and building friendship with every pet I care for. As I moved to Portland 5 months ago, I have been missing my furry friends and community in east coast and I decided that it was time to build a new one. I would be honoured to meet your pet, whether it's cat or dog, and I am confident that I can provide the best care to them filled with love! I’m detail-oriented, respectful of your home, and genuinely love spending quiet time working on my laptop with a pup or kitty curled at my side or heading out for play and/or for walks. Animals bring me joy and deeper love for myself and others, they are the medicine for the soul, and I take pride in treating every pet as if they were my own family. I am a PhD candidate and former non-profit project manager, currently very flexible and would love to be a pet sitter full-time alongside my writing. I am open for bookings weekdays and weekends. I have cared for dogs in their homes and boarded dogs in my own apartment too. I treat your home as my own, I am very clean, responsible, and respect your privacy and space. At the moment, I can board dogs and cats:)

About: I've been a pet-owner since I was a kid, and have several years of experience as a professional dog Handler. I'm first-aid trained for dogs, and can care for special needs pets as well as "difficult" pets or puppies/kittens. I do not currently have a day job so I'm open for live-in and drop-in services 7 days/week. I have a pup and two cats of my own I do like to see, but they're patient. :) My care is based on my love for animals and the top-quality care and patience I strive to give to any animal I come into contact with! I've been trusted for years to care for pets big and small, and take enormous pride in a tidy home and a satisfied pup or cat!

About: I grew up with dogs the majority of my life and I've dog sat for people for 3 yrs now. I don't own any pets of my own, so I love getting to spend time with animals. I make sure to maintain any training or rules that the owners have made for their dog. I would like to have as much transparency as possible, so that I know what to expect and can provide the best care. I work from home everyday, so I'm free to take care of your dog at my house or yours. I need to be online most of the day, but can take walking and play breaks in between. I always care for pets in their home. I make sure that the house is clean and looks the same as how you left it.

About: I was raised on a farm in rural Texas so most of my experience is not only cats and dogs but also chickenens, horses and cattle! Older animals have my heart :3 I currently have a bearded dragon! Currently I have no set schedule so my availability is very open meaning I can be with your pets all day. Mornings are accepted as well due to myself being an early riser. I care for each pet as of they are my own, they'll get all the attention they want and play that they need. I'm a very clean person as well so rest assured your place will not be messy or dirty when you return.

About: I am trans and vegan so I’ve always felt naturally connected with animals. I love to be curious and cherish what makes each pet unique. I’ve raised pets since childhood, and understand different temperaments/ personalities. I follow routines carefully and give warm attention. 😊 I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate boarding, daytime dog walks, and drop-in visits. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I do my best to follow their usual schedule so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m intentional about making sure each pet feels cared for, comfortable, and not rushed. I’m happy to communicate with you throughout the visit and provide updates and photos for peace of mind. I have a peaceful, roomy home where pets can settle in and feel at ease. Dogs are allowed on the couch, and all outside time is supervised. Safety and comfort are always my priority.

About: ive had dogs and cats of my own as well as trained/taken care/owned horses for 12 years! I have worked with both small and big dogs, as well as various kinds of cats! I have a cat, and I take care of/ride 4 horses! horses are definitely the most high maintenance animal I have experience with and working with them has taught me a lot about animals and animal care! I make sure to pay attention to pets behaviors and needs, and accommodate to those needs, I make sure they are fed, exercised, taken to the bathroom, and of course giving as much love and attention they desire.
