Vet tech-pet sitter extraordinaire!
For the last twelve years I have been proud to serve people and their pets! I spent seven years as a veterinarian technician and have a skillset ranging from wellness care, to emergency and even specialized medicine. To make more of a difference in our community, I made the leap from medicine to welfare four years ago. In that time, I have developed programming for shelters in both Pierce and Kitsap Counties so that pets never have to enter the shelter environment and can stay in their loving homes! Though I have devoted my life to this work, I still enjoy pet sitting in my free time. Every animal is an individual and I take great joy in being a small part of your pet’s life! I lead with honesty, compassion and always a sense of humor! I share my home with my three fur girls, Piper, a “house hippo” pittie mix, Gertrude, a Standard Poodle and Prudence, a foster kitten who never left! I can't wait to meet your pet!

I believe in meeting animals where they are, rather than where we expect them to be. Because of my background, I am able to use good judgment and discern if something feels off medically or behaviorally.

Meg is the best!! I always feel at ease when we are traveling and she takes care of our cat who is an old man.
Meg is fantastic! My pup genuinely loves her and is excited to see her, which has not always been the case for sitters. She is well taken care of and gets so excited every time she sees her. Meg was so accommodating and communicative.

Programa
I currently work remotely from 9 - 5pm and have a moderately flexible schedule! I enjoy accepting drop in visits mainly on the weekends or evenings.
