Pet Sitting Irvington

About: Owner of English Lab for 5.5 years and she is my World. Got her at 3 months. Life Changer. She makes everyone around her (me included) feel like the most important person in the World. I also grew up with an American Lab which I cared and loved for, for 13yrs. My family got her when she was just a puppy at a year old (I was 13) and she lived to be 13yrs when she passed (I was 26). She is the reason I started to really love dogs. I’ve also volunteered at the Oregon Humane Society quite a bit over the past 5yrs That has been a very rewarding experience. I currently work Fridays-Mondays in the medical field and have a lot of free time on my days off. I usually take Millie, my Lab, for a 2hr walk in the surrounding neighborhoods and try to get her down to the river once a week to swim. It’s by far her favorite activity and she’s a master swimmer. I live in an apartment with my dog and care for her like a child. Because let’s be honest. She is a child. She gets whatever she needs and so will every dog I care for on a daily basis.

About: I have been around dogs and cats since I was born, always finding a comfort in them and I think them in me. I am very patient and calm, and I understand how to handle high maintenance pets. I am currently living at my childhood home working odd jobs while I save up cash to travel and eventually move to San Francisco. I have a very flexible schedule with little other commitments right now. My childhood dog recently passed on so I am missing the animal life a bit. I've spent 14 years caring for dogs of every size and temperament — from high-energy puppies who need structure to older dogs who just want a calm, steady presence. I'm comfortable with feeding schedules, oral medication, leash walks, and playtime, and I treat every dog in my care like my own. Reliable, patient, and genuinely happiest with a dog by my side.

“We can't say enough great things about Anna! She was able to come spend time with our sweet pup last minute when we had a wedding to go to that was an all day affair. Winnie our pup is a sensitive sweetheart and Anna understood her feelings, took the time to do some training with her, play with her, and give her lots of love and pets to soothe her anxiousness. Her communication is really top notch, as is her care! We also recently hired Anna to sit Winnie for a few days at our house when we were away, and she was so so great. She was so careful and considerate about Winnie's routine and about our home. She sent photos and videos which was so sweet. Winnie clearly loves her. We will absolutely hire her again for overnight stays or day time pop ins when we need them.”

About: Hello! I understand how nervous you must feel considering leaving your pet with a stranger. I have been there myself! Just know that your pet will be in the best hands while you are away! A little about us. We are a family of 3, myself and my two almost 4 year old cats. Their names are Harper and Halaya Aka June. I have been in a wheelchair since 2005. I love to go mini road trips, photograph wildlife, and I make crystal suncatchers on the side. I have been pet sitting through Rover since May 23rd 2022. Exactly one month after my sweet dog Willow passed away. I was looking for a new normal, and I am so happy I chose dog sitting! Any questions you may have, don’t hesitate to ask! I look forward to getting to know you and hanging out with your pet! 🙂 Pet sitting is my only job, so my schedule is VERY flexible. Especially for pets with separation anxiety or special needs who can’t be left home alone. 🙂 I’ll keep your pet on a consistent schedule with meals, medications, and potty/walk breaks. With your puppy, I’ll help assist in potty training, crate training, and some light obedience training, by using a lot of praises and some treats, if allowed by owner. I’ll even teach some cute fun tricks! 🙂

About: I make sure each pet brings home a beautiful portrait from their walk- a pet postcard. A good walk can bring out the best smile from pets. I am a photographer and graphic designer that works from home. My dog is walked 3 times a day. I have a lot of free time in my hand. So I can travel to different neighborhoods. I make sure they have a nest or space they can be comfortable in. They are allowed to sit on the couch while I work. They always should have water and toys to play with.
