About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for pets of many different breeds, sizes, personalities, and behavioral needs. Being a lifelong pet owner has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding that every animal is different. I currently share my home with Pigeon, my 8-year-old rescue, who has given me even more appreciation for the patience and trust that can be especially important with rescue animals. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s individual routine and personality, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same care, attention, and respect I give my own. Building relationships with animals is an incredibly rewarding experience and something I truly cherish. I am currently a student at Oregon State University pursuing a Botany degree. All of my classes are virtual, so I am extremely flexible with my schedule and availability. I’m a big believer in meeting pets where they’re at. Some want to play and explore, some want nonstop attention, and others just need a little patience and space to warm up. I’ll get to know your pet’s personality and routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Walks, playtime, belly rubs, quiet company—I’m happy to provide whatever makes them feel most at home!

Her communication was great and she provided not only fresh food and water but also playtime and pets for Kichka to make sure she wasn’t lonely. About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. At one point my family had eight cats and two dogs. I recently had a rescue cat that followed me home. He had cancer so I had to give him medicine orally every day. I have two 50 lb dogs right now as well. They are both rescue puppies and the first one I got was sick, so I had to give her medicine daily. She is great now! I am comfortable with dogs and cats that require extra care. I am a stay-at-home mom so as long as I'm not dropping off or picking up my boys, I am available. I have a vehicle so I can get to wherever I need to go. When I am at a client's house I will always follow the procedures and guidelines that they feel comfortable with whether I am taking their pet out for a walk or just checking in to make sure their pet is happy and healthy.

About: I grew up with pets and have been taking care of my own for almost 15 years now. I have experience administering medication, such as pills, eye or ear drops, fluids, and insulin shots. I volunteered at a wildlife rehabilitation center so I’m used to feeding and cleaning after all kinds of animals. I am clean, organized, patient, and have a calm demeanor that puts pets at ease. I will take care of your babies like they’re my own, and follow the instructions closely :) I work 7am to 4pm Monday through Friday and I’m available at any other time. I can go there before and after work, and I’m fully free on weekends. I can also go during my lunch time if the location is in or near Oregon City. I’m able to crate your dogs if needed. I can take them on walks, or to parks or short hikes if preferred. I can house sit and take care of your plants and do some light cleaning if needed as well.

About: I love spending time with family pets and providing companionship for them. When it comes to dog walking, I prioritize not only the physical exercise but also the emotional well-being of the dogs. I enjoy building a bond with them during our walks and ensuring they have a positive experience. I am available most weekends to overnight sitting and on weekdays 1-9 pm. I work from home so short house visits are possible throughout the week. Caring for pets in their home by following the instructions given by homeowner. Making sure to engage in playtime to keep them physically and mentally engaged.
