About: I love all dogs, especially Boston Terriers! I have a long history of both owning and caring for dogs. To me, a fur baby is family and any pet entrusted to my care is treated with the same love and affection as I would with my own. I would be honored to spoil your pup (with what you and your fur baby are comfortable with). I have experience caring for many different sizes, temperaments, personalities, limitations, and quirks that dogs come with. I am home 24/7 except for the occasional social outing with friends. Furry friends are my top priority and I take every step necessary to ensure they are cared for and loved like family during their stay. I am very active and love taking pups for any length of walk or park time that they need or enjoy. I provide lots of love, snuggles, play time, and am happy to give them as much (or little) attention as they need. While I love to spoil our fur friends, I adhere to your instructions, always, and can provide as many updates and photos of your pup as you'd like. We have a fully fenced large backyard (for Portland) and I supervise all furry friends when we are outside. We have a fenced dog run that is lit for nighttime needs. Dogs are allowed on our furniture and in the bed during the day for snuggles. In a clients home, I follow every instruction left for care of your pup and work to ensure your property is in the same shape (or better) than when I arrived. I will never leave your dog in any state other than a calm and relaxed manor. I take great care to ensure that your property is secured when I leave and can follow any instructions for key care, lockbox codes, etc. including key pick-up and drop-off.

About: I have always been a pet sitter, even from a young age. I am trustworthy, communicative and will treat your pet like my own. I know how scary it is to leave your pet alone with a new person and I'd love to be the person that treats your fur baby exactly how you prefer. I am a Cincinnati transplant who just moved to Portland. I am currently working part time, and I would love to spend my free time hanging out with your animals. About: Rover doesn’t allow for preferred names, but I go by the name Zael rather than Danika. I am an avid world traveler, and recently got back from a six month trip abroad. The aspect of home I missed the most was, of course, my dog Luna. I would constantly ask my family for pictures and updates, and was always concerned about her well being. Because of this, I completely understand where an owner is coming from when they want a dog sitter: someone compassionate and responsible, but also someone who can keep your pet happy and entertained. So whether you’re traveling for work or leisure, you know your pet will be in good hands. Plus I’ll take lots of pictures! I have plenty of experience pet sitting and baby sitting, and have always lived in a house with a large dog, so I consider myself ready for anything. I am confident I will be able to give your pet and your home the care they need. I usually have full availability during the week and weekend. I will be starting college in Portland in the winter, but until then pet sitting is my one true calling. When pet sitting in your home I will ensure your dog is well entertained and well cuddled (to their liking, of course). My dog and I love to rough house and have zoomies in the backyard, but I will tailor my play style to whatever your dog prefers! As long as there’s space, I can throw a ball until my arm falls off. Picky dogs with complicated schedules are loved as well, and with clear instructions I’ll make sure every rule is followed and your home is taken care of to the same extent as your pet.

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats in some capacity for the last 20+ years, but much more consistently for the last 18. Friends, family, and community members have relied on me to care for their furbabies in a multitude of ways. I have experience with pets of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs with high medical needs, as well as dogs of all sizes and a diverse array of breeds. I have experience working with chill and friendly dogs as well reactive dogs! I love stopping in during the day for walks, potty breaks, or playtimes in addition to overnight stays with feeding and all other responsibilities included. I am familiar with many basic training techniques and love working with pet owners on what routines/training they have in place for their pets so I can try to keep as much consistency for them as possible. Rest assured your pets will be in good hands. I currently work from home so am home most days with a flexible schedule. This gives me flexibility to do walks, feedings, and other things on a more flexible schedule to stick with any routines they might be on. My partner is also a pet lover and has a flexible work schedule so almost always one of us is home to keep your pets company. I have a fenced yard with room to romp and play. We also live close to several parks, including a large off leash dog park if your dog is able to go off leash. We have one indoor/outdoor cat that loves dogs and would be happy to smoosh up against your dog. If your dog isn't into cats, we can keep them separate. We used to have a reactive dog and managed this for several years. If we do need to leave your pet unattended in our home, we can crate them or leave them out. Our home allows several options.
