“Raven was excellent with our skittish rescue terrier, Frankie. She has severe separation anxiety and cannot be left alone for more than 30 seconds and Raven was the first person to watch her since we adopted her 5 months ago. We were surprised by how fast Raven won over her trust! I'd recommend Raven to anyone with an anxious pup!”

“Scott was a wonderful pet sitter. He sent frequent updates, was patient with our pup (this was his first time with a sitter!), and was really respectful in our home. He’s kind, flexible, great with dogs, and we’re grateful for how well he took care of our pup.”

“Aaron stayed with my two cats for several days and took excellent care of them. He was attentive, communicative, and conscientious about their unique needs. I would definitely ask him to care for them again and highly recommend him!”

“Kay was wonderful with our special needs French Bulldog. She was a great communicated and she was flexible and always did what she said. We will definitely use her again. Thank you KAY!!!”

“Merry was punctual, and a good communicator. She was very friendly and clearly cared about my animals well being, and safety. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“Dey was a fantastic house sitter, so easy to work with, and took great care of our dog. Not only was Dey super responsive, but I think my house was cleaner than I left it.”

“I would definitely recommend Michelle if you need a house/pet sitter. Michelle’s super friendly and sent great updates so I always felt like my pets were taken care of. I am very appreciative when I don’t have to worry about my pets when I’m gone. Thank you!”

“Chardonay and Ben were fantastic with our pups! They gave updates throughout the day with lots of photos. I felt very comfortable leaving my reactive pup in their care. Both puppies were tired when we got home and the house was so tidy!”

“Michael was a wonderful dog and house sitter! We received pictures and videos daily, which were very appreciated while we were traveling. We trusted Hazel was in good hands and the house was, too! We’d definitely have Michael watch Hazel again.”

About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals since I was 10 years old. I have worked in veterinary hospitals and wildlife rehab over the years. Seniors and anxious buddies are my specialty. My philosophy is to “meet pets and people where they are at and not where we expect them to be”. I love making dogs, cats and all animals feel safe, it’s my favorite part of pet care. I can administer basic medicine and wound care and am well versed in triage. If your sweet friend is needing someone to look after them, feel free to message me with any questions or concerns. Pet Care is my primary career focus after being in the veterinary field for a few years. I sometimes nanny as well and a focus on serving neurodivergent young children. My schedule is flexible and most of my work can be done from anywhere. I live in a two bedroom apartment with my partner who works from home. No men come to our home, in case your pup has an aversion to that. We have the ability to close all doors to the rooms and it is on the ground floor with no other apartments down here. It is very close to a park as well as good places to go for walks. I do not currently have any pets in home so yours would be the only one and I have watched dogs with no incidents. I am open to more than one dog from the same home though. For home visits, I am great at keeping places clean and tidy and respecting other’s spaces. I believe that your home should be your sacred and safe space.
“This was our first time leaving Bertie with a sitter - and using River - and we could not be happier! Donna is the BESTEST! We look forward to seeing Donna again 🥰”

“Angela went above and beyond to take phenomenal care of my very nervous senior dog. She also did an incredible job, keeping the house tidy and provided very cute photos and updates. I had many special instructions and she followed them perfectly.I am so grateful for her help and would definitely book with her again.”

“River was patient and kind with our two dogs. She followed all directions perfectly. Was a wonderful house guest and communicator. Our shy dog even warmed up to her by day two.”

“Heather was amazing! Communication was timely and thorough. My two large dogs loved her and my cat is 19 years old and I think he did too. I don’t know if he knows what’s going on most of the time and typically just wanders the house looking for food, even after he just ate - I digress. She followed every request to the letter, was very kind and checked in regularly, even got some super cute photos. I’d giver her 6/5 stars if I could. I will be asking for her by name from now on. Highly recommend (except when we need her, then I don’t ;)~”

“Absolutely the best. Tayler was super responsive and made our first experience with Rover incredible. She provided us with some many pictures and updates and our girls loved her. Will 100% be using her services again!”

“Renee continues do a great job with Hugo. He always has so much fun with her. She sends regular updates on his activities via the Rover app. She's also very professional, personable, and punctual. I plan to continue to seek her services with Hugo.”

“We reached out to Lucinda for a very last minute request and she was able to graciously accommodate us. She was wonderful to work with and sent photos and updates that made it known our fur babies were very well cared for. We would absolutely and wholeheartedly recommend her!”

Best Indigiqueer pet sitter in the pdx area I’ve been able to find! My service dog and kitten were well exercised, well fed, and well behaved when I got home. Although excited to see me, they obviously missed Tsïtsïki and we all look forward to our next booking with them!

Ida was an amazing sitter for Smokey and Ernie over the 4th of July weekend! She sent daily photo and text updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even stayed with Smokey during the fireworks to help keep him calm, and I really appreciated the extra care and attention she gave him. When I got home, both of my boys were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Ida again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate pet sitter!

Angela was absolutely fabulous! She stayed with our wild and crazy four-month-old puppy for a week, and rose to the challenge! He requires a lot of redirection and has a ton of energy, and she stayed patient with him, took him on long walks, and kept him from destroying the house. We came home to a clean house, watered garden, and a happy, tired pup. We would definitely have her back!

Jackson was so great with nervous lil chihuahua over July 4th weekend! He gave great check ins and also notified us the second our dog was behaving out of the normal and we were able to figure it out together quickly. Our pup and our home were in great hands with Jackson. Thank you!!

Kai did an excellent job caring for our dogs. One of our dogs had some tummy issues while Kai was there and Kai did a wonderful job of letting me know what was going on and how our dog was doing. Kai sends frequent updates with pictures and videos. Kai is our go to sitter!
