Availability
For walks/drop in's: I make my own schedule and can be fairly flexible with planning your pet's visit. That being said, my schedule does vary from week to week so I may not be able to do the exact same time every week for your pet. Just check in with me. For sits: I am usually only ever out of the house for 3-5 hours at a time for work or the occasional dinner out, so can check on your fur babes between obligations and of course spend the evenings there. There is the rare occasion where I have 7/8 hour days so it’s best to check in with me about that if it is of a concern and one of those days falls within the dates you are needing care. If your dog requires extra long walks (anything beyond 1 hour total per day, usually 30 minutes in the morning and then 30 minutes in the evening) or special care, I may have to adjust my rate upwards for anything beyond the basic needs that takes extra time for me to plan within my day. A note about my pricing: I pride myself on performing quality care and am worth what I charge. I have been running my own businesses for many years and am a professional in every sense of the word. Please keep in mind that Rover takes out a portion of what you pay and I pay taxes on what I make as well as spending my resources on gas and supplies, so not all of what you are paying goes to me. I take great care in what I do and I take this role very seriously. That being said, I will consider special circumstances at a discounted rate (i.e. if you have a pet that needs very minimal care, such as they have a doggie door where they have in and out privileges so i don't have to be there to let them out for bathroom breaks)

Safety, trust & environment
I know how important your pet is to you and I truly take care of all animals with the utmost respect and reverence. It is a privilege to be entrusted with the role of caretaker and I take my position very seriously. I also know how nerve racking it may be to let someone else take care of your pets and home and I want every client to feel at ease when they leave them in my hands. With my experience in cleaning people's homes, I take extra care to be conscientious of my surroundings and respectful of my role as a guest in your home.
Information Alexandra C. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know if your dog has any issues or problems I should look out for while sitting them, i.e. bathroom/puppy issues, doesn't get along with other dogs, aggression issues, special food sensitivities, likes to be scratched behind the ears, etc. Also, please let me know if you have any cameras and where they are located
A typical day
On a stay with your dog, I will happily take them out for a walk around the neighborhood or play fetch with them in the yard, if that’s their thing too! But if your dog is more of the snuggly kind, I’ll gladly curl up on the couch and get cozy. I am very skilled at reading an animal’s energy so I can best know how to care for them.

Gentle loving human for hire!
Pet care experience
Please call me ZANDRA! I have always had animals in my life. From growing up with our family dog, Tuvia, a golden retriever, and our cat, AnnaPurrna (named after the mountain range in Nepal), to having bunnies for 8+ years and now dog and kitty sitting for friends and family, I have had a lot of experience with caring for pets and homes. I am a gentle and thoughtful caretaker and respect the trusting and loving way in which pets bond with their human counterparts! I have worked for a local dog-walking company in the past so I have extensive experience walking all kinds of dogs (I often will carry treats in my pocket to keep them motivated) and have used just about every complicated harness there is including prong collars. I usually cross the street when another dog is approaching just to be sure that any possible altercation may be avoided. That being said, I am still a petite woman and can’t always restrain larger reactive and/or aggressive dogs so I would advise anyone with a dog of that description to please pass on me! Your pets safety and comfort is my number one concern. I have had experience in administering oral and topical medications to both dogs and cats. I once took care of the sweetest English bulldog who needed to have nightly medicated faces washes. It was the sweetest exchange of care and trust. I know how traumatizing being away from their humans can sometimes be for your pet and I am sure to give them lots of love and attention after the fact!

Another great house sitting! Zandra is super communicative and our nervous dog warms up to her quickly. Thank you!

We rebooked Alex to watch our two dogs and our house for the weekend. They were well taken care of and we had two happy dogs when we returned. I definitely trust Alex to house sit our dogs.

Alexandra is great! She’s watched our cats several times and does a great job!

Thank you so much Alexandra for taking care of our kitties! She is one of our go to long time sitters! Reliable and respectful.
