I’m currently working part time while preparing for a graduate program - most late morning, midday, and early afternoon walks/drop ins work well with my schedule. I often have scheduling conflicts on the weekends but feel free to reach out regardless if you’re needing the help! I also provide sitting services, but do require meet and greets for any potential overnight bookings!

I am a very attentive caregiver. My own dog and I have a very steady routine and frequently go for walks at the same time everyday. She also gets her two meals at the same time most days. In my experience, I have found that a lot of dogs and cats do best with a familiar routine and I am happy to provide them with that while they are in my care!

If your pet has any special needs, quirks, or preferences, please let me know ahead of time! I am always happy to accommodate the best that I can. Additionally, if there is something in particular that they really struggle with (socialization, tugging on the leash, interacting with other dogs, overstimulation, etc.) please let me know so that I can come prepared when it’s time for our booking.
A typical day
When I walk dogs, I like to make sure I match their pace while still remaining assertive and letting them know I am in charge! If they are a high energy pup that prefers to move quick and smell less, I’ll honor that! If they prefer to do lots of smelling while engaging in a more leisurely stroll, that’s fine with me, too! I think dogs are usually pretty good at letting us humans know what they want, and I will always do my best to provide them with just that - as long as they are listening attentively to me and behaving well. I love to take the dogs I walk to different parks and routes as I do believe that switching things up allows our canine friends the most stimulating walk time. Doing the same walk every day gets boring! As far as cats go, I’m happy to move at their pace when it comes to drop ins. If you have a very shy cat that doesn’t want to come out when I’m there, I’ll simply sit as near them as I can for the duration of my visit - I really do believe that sometimes just our presence alone can mean a lot! If they’re more the playful type, I’ll joyfully accommodate them with that, too!

Pet care experience
I’ve had my own pets for nearly two decades now, and have always been a huge animal lover. I am a very active person who enjoys being outdoors! I have dog sat overnight at friends’ homes, and have also boarded my friends’ dogs at my home. I have experience walking dogs of all different sizes, training levels, and ages.
