I’ve had my own pets for nearly two decades now, and have always been a huge animal lover. I am a very active person who enjoys being outdoors! I have dog sat overnight at friends’ homes, and have also boarded my friends’ dogs at my home. I have experience walking dogs of all different sizes, training levels, and ages.

I am a very attentive caregiver. My own dog and I have a very steady routine and frequently go for walks at the same time everyday. She also gets her two meals at the same time most days. In my experience, I have found that a lot of dogs and cats do best with a familiar routine and I am happy to provide them with that while they are in my care!

My dog Opie loves Kira! She’s is super kind and very responsive. There was a day that my dog wasn’t feeling very good and had an accident which Kira handled! I’m very thankful to have her help!
Kira is so communicative and easy to work with! She’s very through in the “rover cards” and I have so much peace of mind knowing my pup is being cared for by her.
Kira did a great job dealing with our extra grumpy cat. For some reason he was incredibly angry when she arrived and did not make her job easy. But she still managed to feed him and clean his litter box which I really appreciate. I don’t know if Kira would ever want to sit for us in the future 😅 but I’d be happy to book with her again!
Kira was awesome. It’s always a little scary leaving your pup with a stranger for the first time. But right away I felt like Packer was in good hands. Kira had great communication and gave us lots of updates. Packer warmed up to her right away, crawling into her lap. The house was left exactly as we had left it and Packer was as happy as his usual self!

Schedule
I’m currently working part time while preparing for a graduate program - most late morning, midday, and early afternoon walks/drop ins work well with my schedule. I often have scheduling conflicts on the weekends but feel free to reach out regardless if you’re needing the help! I also provide sitting services, but do require meet and greets for any potential overnight bookings!
