“Noemi is awesome! She watched my super shy rat terrier buddy for two nights and was absolutely wonderful. She was so thoughtful with him, and it was clear she really cared about making him feel safe and comfortable. She kept me updated, was very reliable, and gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. I came home to a happy, well cared for pup and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!”

“Kris was very communicative- providing regular photos and updates during the boarding. This was the best experience we have had boarding our pets. Definitely recommend!”

“Thanks for providing such great care for Chewie! I loved the photo updates. We were really able to enjoy our time away, knowing he was in good hands. Such loving and competent care! We will be back.”

“Veronica was great! Our dog Perla is 1 year old and very active and playful. She was kept busy with Veronicas two dogs for 12 days, which Perla seem to enjoy very much. Veronica is very knowledgeable about dogs and very patient. She kept us informed with pictures and videos. We will definitely use Veronica again.”

“My dog is a sweet but VERY anxious rescue. She warms up to people over time, but with hesitation. I’m so grateful when I get photos of Pepper snuggling up with Sandra on the couch and happily hanging out. She’s so loved and cared for. Such piece of mind for me when I’m out of town! 💕”

“When we came to pick up Dory the next day she ran out to say hi and was ready to follow Hayleigh back in the house when she went to grab her bed. So safe to say Dory had a blast!”

“Keelan and Sabrina took great care of our dog, Bingo. It was Bingo’s first boarding experience, so we were a little nervous, but they helped to ease our worry by doing a meet and greet first and then providing daily communication with updates and photos while we were gone. Bingo had a blast playing with Minty and Loki. We would definitely book with Keelan again!”

“Serena was so sweet with Chewy and sent photos of him and Nugget on there walks and playing together. Great communication and responsiveness! We would definitely book again with Serena!”

“Marybeth and family took good care of our dog Toby for a week. I believe Toby had as good a vacation as we did! He got to play with Zoey and keep an eye on the cats. He spent time relaxing on the back deck watching the chickens. Working out the details with Marybeth was easy and she's quick to respond. She's obviously good with animals.”

“We hit the jackpot with Zo and Margaret!!! My girl is timid, has a sensitive tummy, and goes on a hunger strike every time I leave. Not only did Margaret and Zo treat her like the queen she is, they loved and pampered her like their own. I came home to a relaxed pup who was hesitant to leave (why would she want to?!)! There are no words adequate enough to convey my gratitude to Zo and Margaret. Their excellent care of my girl, their timely communication, and their highly evident love of animals allowed me to relax and enjoy a trip with my family. I am forever grateful!”

“Kristen did an excellent job of taking care of our dog. She sent pictures daily and our dog really enjoyed spending time with her dog! We would definitely go to Kristen again. Thanks Kristen!”

“Tammy was an exceptional dog sitter for our dog, Rusty. Rusty is very anxious and often struggles with meeting new people. Within the first day, it was clear that Tammy quickly earned his trust and love. We felt at ease during our trip that he was well cared for and happy. We appreciated her daily updates. 100% would recommend.”

“We cant’t say enough good things about our recent pet sitting experience with Gayle. It was our first time using Gayle and we were very happy with her communication and focus on the details to make sure the visit went as planned and it did. But more importantly was her attention to our dogs and making them feel at home in a new environment. In particular one of our dogs is a bit older and needs a little more attention and Gayle was very attentive to that. We would definitely recommend Gayle’s services.”

“Perla had a great time with lots of play! Elizabeth has a nice big home with lots of room to run around both inside and out. Her dog Lilo and Perla got along really well. We'll definitely be a repeat customer.”

“Jason and Lindsay & their boys were available at a moment's notice when my schedule sitter fell through. They provided Rosie with attentive and loving care, and I would absolutely trust them with my sweet girl anytime.”

“I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog with Amanda and Jaime. Amanda was very communicative and friendly. I appreciated the daily updates and photos. It was clear my dog was very well cared for. They were also extremely helpful with accommodating a last minute request! I will certainly continue boarding with them in the future.”

“Kristopher and his family did a wonderful job oc caring for Mochi. They are experienced and took time to learn about her specific needs prior to care. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing someone to take care of their fur baby and would use them again should the need arise. 5/5!”

“Leaving our dog with Rosemary was such a relief! We are always stressed to leave our dog behind when we're out of town but Rosemary was so great about sending updates and reassuring us. She had all the fun toys and a space for our dog to run--I'm pretty sure he was depressed when we got back and he had to go back to his regular house!”

“Jessica is great! She’s very professional and communicative. She made sure my kitty princess was well fed and played with while I was out of town for several days. The picture updates she sent were all adorable too.”

“Mary was amazing! This was the first time she did a drop in for my kitty - she showed up right on time and did everything I asked her to! Finding a trustworthy sitter can be hard so I’m happy to have found her and I know my cat feels the same. Would definitely love to have Mary check in on my girl again 10/10 highly recommend. Thank you!!😊”

“Camille and Shayla were amazing with my cat, and are very lovely people. My cat is very shy towards new people, and they respected his boundaries. He came out of his shell after a few days of them stopping by. I appreciated their detailed reports.”

“Charles was absolutely amazing and took wonderful care of our two cats. He went above and beyond to play with them, brush them, and make them feel loved. He also has top-notch communication every day. Highly recommend hiring Charles!”

“Gera was a balm to my anxious heart. I got a hold of them to watch after my older IBD kitty pretty last minute. I received photos, updates every visit, trial med runs before I left town to make sure everyone involved was informed and comfortable, they told me my girly might be experiencing whisker fatigue based on how she was eating so that just shows how much attention to detail and care was put in. Clem isn't very shy but she warmed up to Gera effortlessly and it sure made me feel like she was in great hands.”

“Simon made my first time using Rover so easy. I received a report for each visit - with photos, which was comforting. Simon is very responsive, and easy to work with. I would definitely hire again!”

“You are a wonderful sitter for my indoor kitty! Joss is very communicative, follows instructions and most importantly provides great care and snuggles to my little man while I’m gone! The pictures you take are adorable:) thank you!”

“Tiana goes above and beyond- making sure my home is clean when I return. Paying attention to what my Cleo loves- opening windows to listen to the birds, finding new ways to engage her in play, giving plenty of affection. As someone who missed her cat while traveling, it’s a great comfort to know she’s being cared for so lovingly”

“I’m so grateful for Madi! She did multiple drop-in visits while I was away and took such great care of my older cat & kittens. She was friendly, reliable, and spent quality time playing with them each visit. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

“Lauren was a fantastic cater giver for our two cats. She sent daily updates and was very communicative. We knew our kitties were well taken care of while we were away.”

“Angela is a great pet sitter and was wonderful with my two cats. She was communicative and made sure to leave detailed notes about how the cats were doing. Really appreciate her and would strongly recommend!”

“Raphael was great with our kitties while we were away for Thanksgiving! He even got our shy cat to warm up to him in the time he checked in on them. Very responsive and easy to work with, we would absolutely book him again if he's available!”

“I’ve used Karly now three times as my cat-sitter while away to take care of my two cats, and just recently, for two weeks while out of the country. She’s great!! She makes sure my two babies are well taken care of - she’s gotten to know both of their personalities and tends to both of their needs (one’s playfulness and the other’s snuggles/pets)! She goes above and beyond and also considers me and the house while gone out of the country (by taking out the trash on trash day for example). She’s also a great communicator and I feel at ease trusting her to take care of both my cats and my home while away!”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and have taken care of friends’ cats for many years. Since my cat passed away, I have loved taking care of others’ loved ones. I enjoy seeing the different personalities come through, whether they’re shy, cuddly, playful, spicy, etc. I love them all and treat them as if they’re my own. I’m also very understanding of cats that are fearful or slow to open up to new people, and meet them where they’re at, giving them any space and time they need. I am also used to giving cats medicine and addressing any special needs.

Veronica is a conscientious person who understands dog behavior. We wouldn't hesitate to ask Veronica to look after Penny Lane again in the future. Thank you, Veronica!”

About: I moved to Portland in 2004. My only requirement was that we live next to a dog park so that I could have a dog. My first dog a was a great Dane pitbull mix named Virgil. We got him out of shelter in Tacoma Washington. Then came Lucy, she was a Rottweiler that got dumped on the streets of Portland. At the time we still had two cats, Jack and Ernie. Then my father-in-law came to live with us with his yellow lab named Sabrina. Boy was it a houseful! We all learned together how to coexist. I was so happy to be surrounded by so many wonderful pets. It was trying for sure, but we managed. As the years went by eventually we lost all of them. In 2014 I adopted Thelma a boxer mix who became my everything. I lost Thelma in November and I cannot bring myself to adopt again for a while, yet there is something missing. I need to be around animals. My partner and I have taken care of every type of dogs from the easy to the most difficult. We have taken care of puppies and seniors. Dogs that were needy and the highly independent ones. Right now, my partner and I are working opposite schedules. There will always be someone in the house. My availability is open to any schedule. I have a fenced backyard. My house is very dog friendly. It is all one floor. The whole house is open for pets. I can crate if preferred, but not necessary
“Hayleigh was wonderful taking care of my pup! she can be a handle full sometimes but Hayleigh always has a positive attitude and my puppy gets excited when we pull up.”

“We tried the drop in service today and it gave me such piece of mind knowing Dash was entertained rather than sitting at home alone. Tommy was quick to respond and very accommodating. Dash came home happy and sleepy. A++”

“Jackie was an absolute gem to our doxie Lilah. She had all the tricks and treats on hand to make Lilah feel safe and comfortable. Her large fenced in backyard allowed Lilah to let out her zoomies! we would recommend Jackie to anyone.”

“Linda was amazing! She took excellent care of my pug and always sent updates and pictures. She has a great yard and wonderful neighborhood. We are very pleased with Linda’s care. Will definitely be contacting her for our future dog care needs.”

“Matt is so lovely and took great care of Lima. She came home tired and happy. It can be overwhelming to choose someone on here to watch your dog, I’m very glad we found Matt. Thank you!”

“Sequoia took very good care of our anxious pup to make him feel right at home. She provided great photos and thorough details from the day. We will gladly have our Bruce stay with her again!”

About: Besides my experience with my own pets I began volunteering at the Oregon Humane Society at 17. After that I went on to dog sit for various different families part time for around 3 years. I have a big window of availability currently. I’m going back to school in the fall, but until then I am just working part time. I work for my grandpa, so my schedule is super flexible! When I dog sit in the clients home I will follow your instructional list for feeding/walks/ activities/ grooming ect. I have car so I can take your pup to nearby parks/ dog parks if you would like, or just for a classic stroll around your neighborhood if you prefer. For clients that would prefer I take car if you dog in my home I have a fenced in back yard and live near several park so we can go on several adventures. Or just chill at home if you have a senior/ more low energy dog. My only deal breaker is that your dog isn’t reactive towards cats.

She’s not only reliable and communicative, but also incredibly intuitive—she picks up on subtle body language and adjusts accordingly, which is so important with a sensitive dog. Beyoncé warmed up to her quickly and clearly enjoys their time together. I really appreciate the care, thoughtfulness, and detailed updates after each walk. Highly recommend Abigail to anyone looking for a kind, attentive, and professional dog caretaker!”
