“Charlie was great! Our cats and chickens were in great hands, and we received updates throughout. Charlie even picked up a rogue poop from our diva cat. 😂 We will definitely be reaching out again for all pet sitting needs.”

“Raven was such a great help for my trip. Reliable, trustworthy, and took good care of my dogs. One of my dogs can be a bit tetchy with new people and Raven knew exactly how to handle it (ignore ignore ignore) till he came around and I was really grateful for that level headedness. Definitely plan to hire Raven again!”

“Stayed extra long to make friends with my nervous orange tabby! Went above and beyond to make sure he was ok. Even had to play an impromptu game of hide and seek with him when he was hidden away. Truly appreciate how Karly really cared about my sensitive baby, Chonky. And jumped in when other care from a friend fell through. Thank you! Will definitely book again!”

“Lauren was a fantastic cater giver for our two cats. She sent daily updates and was very communicative. We knew our kitties were well taken care of while we were away.”

“Camille and Shayla were amazing with my cat, and are very lovely people. My cat is very shy towards new people, and they respected his boundaries. He came out of his shell after a few days of them stopping by. I appreciated their detailed reports.”

“Angela is a great pet sitter and was wonderful with my two cats. She was communicative and made sure to leave detailed notes about how the cats were doing. Really appreciate her and would strongly recommend!”

“Mary is a great cat sitter! She offered to come do a meet and greet right away, and I could tell she was experienced with caring for cats. She made sure my girls were well cared for while I was away. She was communicative and easy to coordinate with. I will book with her again for sure!”

“Raphael was responsive and easy to set up a schedule with, and let me know he was available in case I wasn’t able to return by the expected time. He was great with my senior pit bull mix (who requires eye cleaning and ointment) and my cat. Both were happy and relaxed when I came back!”

“Madi was a pleasure to work with. I needed a last minute drop in sitter and she responded immediately after I sent my request. She came over for a meet and greet the day before to learn about my pup. I felt at ease knowing my pup was in good hands. Madi even took several photos and sent a long message describing all she did with my pup. Definitely recommend using Madi for your pet needs 🤗”

About: I love all dogs, especially Boston Terriers! I have a long history of both owning and caring for dogs. To me, a fur baby is family and any pet entrusted to my care is treated with the same love and affection as I would with my own. I would be honored to spoil your pup (with what you and your fur baby are comfortable with). I have experience caring for many different sizes, temperaments, personalities, limitations, and quirks that dogs come with. Special skills include: - Senior dog needs - Medication administration - Reactive dogs - Anxiety calming and comforting - Special needs (public restrictions, no kids, etc.) - Allergies - High energy - High maintenance - Physical exercise - Sensitivities - Mobility limitations Pet care is my full-time job. I only host one household at a time so that I can ensure I give them attention and quality care they deserve. My goal is to help your kiddo is comfortable, loved, and well-cared for. I am home 24/7 except for the occasional social outing with friends. Furry friends are my top priority and I take every step necessary to ensure they are cared for and loved like family during their stay. I am very active and love taking pups for any length of walk or park time that they need or enjoy. I provide lots of love, snuggles, play time, and am happy to give them as much (or little) attention as they need. While I love to spoil our fur friends, I adhere to your instructions, always, and can provide as many updates and photos of your pup as you'd like. We have a fully fenced large backyard (for Portland) and I supervise all furry friends when we are outside. We have a fenced dog run that is lit for nighttime needs. Dogs are allowed on our furniture and in the bed during the day for snuggles. In a clients home, I follow every instruction left for care of your pup and work to ensure your property is in the same shape (or better) than when I arrived. I will never leave your dog in any state other than a calm and relaxed manor. I take great care to ensure that your property is secured when I leave and can follow any instructions for key care, lockbox codes, etc. including key pick-up and drop-off.

“ChristyLynn was able to accommodate a last minute drop in request. She was great with the dogs, they sense right away if someone is a dog person and she definitely is. She asked if it was ok for her girls to come for an evening visit and the dogs loved that. Great communication and appreciated the pics. Will definitely use her again.”

“Matthew was amazing. He was so attentive to our doggo, diligently checking in and sending pictures of him for each visit. Matthew is super kind, and our boy seemed to have a great time during his visits. Would book Matthew again!”

About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
About: I have always been a pet sitter, even from a young age. I am trustworthy, communicative and will treat your pet like my own. I know how scary it is to leave your pet alone with a new person and I'd love to be the person that treats your fur baby exactly how you prefer. I am a Cincinnati transplant who just moved to Portland. I am currently working part time, and I would love to spend my free time hanging out with your animals. My schedule is very flexible and I'm more than happy to work with you to help meet your needs! My pets have always meant the world to me. I enjoy nothing more than spending as much time with my cat as possible, your animal is no different. I have 15+ years of experience caring for folk's animals while they're away or at work. I will do my very best to keep you updated with pictures and videos of your pet, as well as communicate any questions/comments and concerns right away.

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Jessica. Taking care of a shy senior cat who needs daily medication is no easy task, but Jessica worked her magic and made Oscar feel completely safe. She was reliable, attentive, and ensured we didn't have a single worry while we were away. We will definitely be booking her again!

Jenelle was absolutely amazing with my 19 year old kitty. She requires daily meds and Jenelle handle that very well. I loved all the pictures and the check ins. Janelle was also flexible with her schedule when I wanted to add an extra hour for more snuggle time for my elderly kitty. I would highly recommend Jenelle and would not hesitate to book her again this Summer!

I cannot recommend Wendy enough! She took care of our anxious dog during our vacation and went above and beyond to give him the love we needed while we were gone. She administered multiple medications, engaged with him in play, and provided many photos which let us rest easy that he was in good hands. Will certainly rebook again! Thank you!

Emma was really amazing! 10/10! Super responsive, attentive and gave me a piece of mind that Ruben and Raisin were in great hands. Appreciate the constant updates and taking care of the pups and my home while I was gone. Especially Raisin while he is going through a leg issue and needed meds and special care. Thank you so much can't wait to have you watch them again.

Claire was fantastic! She spent plenty of quality time with my cats, played with them during every visit, and made sure everything was left clean and in great condition. She was also very communicative and always sent lots of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. I could tell my cats were well cared for and happy. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring cat sitter!

Ellen did a great job of taking care of my cat Apple for an extended period of time. She has excellent communication, is thoughtful, generous, and very skilled at training Apple to do tricks! I have booked Ellen in the past, and would gladly book her again. Highly recommended!

Jason was so incredible with my four month old puppy with medical issues. He quickly came over for an initial greet. He was on time for every walk twice a day. He was active the whole time and didn’t sit around like many other walkers may. He was attentive to instructions and went so far as to clean my dog every time he went outside. He was safe, kind, and clearly loves animals. I will be requesting him again for all my dog walking/sitting/boarding needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Charles is the best cat sitter we've ever had! Our cat has completely adopted him, and it is clear that he is passionate about felines. Charles is also a great communicator. We always looked forward to his messages and beautiful photos of our furry friend!
Melibea took great care of our husky Echo and was thoughtful throughout his stay. He did have an accident upstairs when we got home, but she let me know she had even stayed out longer trying to give him every chance to poop before bringing him back inside. We loved the little details she shared, like playing peek-a-boo behind the tree at the park to see if he was paying attention and would come looking for her. I really appreciated her communication, updates, and the genuine care she showed Echo. Would book again for sure!
