“Angela is a great pet sitter and was wonderful with my two cats. She was communicative and made sure to leave detailed notes about how the cats were doing. Really appreciate her and would strongly recommend!”

About: i was raised around dogs my entire life. i have a pup who is 3 years old who is like my baby. i know what it is like to have an animal that you love like a child & i want to help others out by treating their dogs like they’re family (: i am a stay at home mama at the moment. i have 3 years of experience working at a dog boarding and grooming shop as a kennel assistant 🤍 i have 2 fenced yards that are big enough for the doggos to run around in. there are many toys at my house for the dogs to play with and even have 2 friendly dogs for the pups to play with as well. my puppy is pretty active and wants to play constantly, she loves the comfort of another animal.

“ChristyLynn was able to accommodate a last minute drop in request. She was great with the dogs, they sense right away if someone is a dog person and she definitely is. She asked if it was ok for her girls to come for an evening visit and the dogs loved that. Great communication and appreciated the pics. Will definitely use her again.”

“Makenzie was so great with my cat Juno! She was very punctual with her drop in visits and made sure to follow all the instructions. She also sent lots of pictures while I was away :)”

“Chelsea is super responsive and such a great sitter! I can tell my lil cat has loved every visit. It’s been great having Chelsea, especially with a long term trip. I’ve already booked again! 10/10 recommend”

About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
“Raphael was fantastic with my cat and elderly dog. He was communicative, respectful, on time, and most importantly, treated my precious fur babies as if they were his own. Highly recommend him! Thank you, Raphael!”

About: Thanks for coming to my page and I'm excited to worm together and with your furry friends. My motto is to make sure every pet is Happy, Safe, and Fed! I have years of pet sitting experience. I have worked with low maintenance old bois and high energy puppers. I have handled health and dietary problems for dogs and cats. I even have some resources if you were looking to make your own natural dog food for your 4 legged friendo. I make sure to follow feeding and exercise schedules precisely. Your pup or kitter is an extension of you and your family and deserves to be treated like it. And I'm just the person for it. I believe very strongly in positive reinforcement, as kindness can go leaps and bounds with our furry friends. You won't find anyone more dedicated to making sure your pets are happy and safe. So let me pet your pets. :)

About: I grew up on a hobby farm and have lots of experiences with pets ranging from dogs to donkeys. I have also lived with cats for the past 5 years and love getting to know new feline friends! I am a graduate student, which affords me some day-to-day flexibility. This also means I can take my work with me to accomodate your pet's needs and schedule. I am respectful of other people's spaces and pets. I do my best to make sure all pets are happy and cared for at all times!

“Roxanne did a wonderful job with our very shy and scared Dolly. She did everything we asked, was prompt, very kind and communicative. We will look to hire her again in the future.”

About: We are gentle, caring, and experienced pet parents ready to welcome your pet(s) into our home. I (Alex) have been caring for pets of family and friends for well over a decade. I once worked at the WSU veterinary school and have experience volunteering at vet clinics and fostering. I have always been passionate about animals of all shapes, sizes, and ages. My partner Dalton is a work from home dad to our three furbabies and one human baby. We have plenty of indoor and fenced outdoor space for your pet(s) to roam. Whether they want to cuddle up on the couch with us, or prefer a quiet, secluded space of their own, we can accommodate your pet's needs. Our goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while in our home. If you need drop-in visits or dog walking, I have availability for that too! Don't hesitate to reach out with questions. We value open, frequent communication and would love a meet and greet with you and your pet(s) to see if we are a good fit. I work night shift in healthcare- I have several days off in a row every other week which is when I would be available for pet sitting. This includes weekends and weekdays, as well as some holidays. My partner works from home full-time so is available to help out as needed. We have a large one story home with plenty of lounge spaces for your pet to get comfortable. We also have a large fully fenced, grassy backyard. Our two elderly dogs are good with other dogs, but we also have the ability to give your pet(s) their own gated off space, or crate, if needed.

I have one cat in my house! I don’t have a fenced yard but I have access to private beach and a big yard for walks!

Powellhurst pet parents share their Rover experiences
We felt comfortable leaving our cats for the first time with someone who wasn’t family after meeting Adnan and seeing how comfortable he was with them. The daily updates and photos made us feel he was taking great care of them. We arrived home to two happy kitties.

I can tell our cat misses Mindy & Daniel even on days that we’re home. Every interaction had with both Mindy and Daniel shows their care for animals. Each photograph we receive from them it’s evident that our cat is happy with their visits and able to be 100% himself and with that we’re able to relax and be free of worry. So grateful for their time.

Makenzie helped us out with our senior dog and cat during a difficult time. She is kind, professional, and responsible and treated our pets like her own. I highly recommend her and look forward to booking her in the future! Thanks so much, Makenzie! You’re awesome!

Brittney is the absolute best for my cats! I usually worry when I have to leave home for any extended period. I don’t worry anymore! Brittney understands the needs of my older cat, as well as the needs of my skittish, middle aged cat. I can always tell they were just fine while I was gone because my older cat hadn’t peed once on her litter carpet to express her unhappiness, and my skittish girl welcomes me home right away (no hide and seek). Brittney understands the unique needs of each animal and takes as much time as it takes for them to feel comfortable. I love her so much because so do my cats, obviously 💙💙💙

Oh my goodness! I seriously could not be any happier about Katherine’s care and support. This visit was exactly what my puppy and I needed. Katherine was right on time and gave the care necessary and did everything I asked for. It definitely eased my anxiety to know my girl was in good hands and I had nothing to worry about. I hate when my dog needs to be home all alone but getting confirmation from Katherine made it all possible. I appreciate her care and support so very much!!

Ashley came through big time on this trip! She goes above and beyond. We had some small oversights and asked for favors for her to make extra visits and she was quick to respond and resolved the issues right away. Thank you so much Ashley! Best cat sitter we have ever had!

This is the second Christmas Micaela has taken care of our cats and while it’s hard to be away from them, the hilarious candid photos attached to the reports and knowing how well they are cared for makes it slightly easier. She’s always our first choice for a sitter and every time we come home to happy cats and a clean space. 10/10
