About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

About: I currently work at Petsitter Portland, and am spending my weeks (5 days a week for around 3-5 hours a day anywhere between 7am-3pm) hanging out with amazing pets! Animals have always been a meaningful part of my life. I’ve raised and cared for multiple dogs, cats, chickens, and ferrets over the years, and currently share my home with 4 dogs, 2 kittens, and 3 chickens. About: i was raised around dogs my entire life. i have a pup who is 3 years old who is like my baby. i know what it is like to have an animal that you love like a child & i want to help others out by treating their dogs like they’re family (: i am a stay at home mama at the moment. i have 3 years of experience working at a dog boarding and grooming shop as a kennel assistant 🤍 i have 2 fenced yards that are big enough for the doggos to run around in. there are many toys at my house for the dogs to play with and even have 2 friendly dogs for the pups to play with as well. my puppy is pretty active and wants to play constantly, she loves the comfort of another animal.

About: One of my passions in life is pets and caring for them. As a graduate from Carrington College in veterinary assisting I learned valuable skills such as understanding animal behavior, CPR, nail trims and administering medications. OUTSIDE REVIEWS Heather took care of my young and active miniature Australian Labradoodle Maggie for 3 nights. She stayed at my home and did an amazing job. I came home to a calm and happy dog and my house was just as I left it . Maggie loved her and she loved Maggie. I felt 100 % confident that she was in good hands. She has experience with animals, loves them and has even had vet tech training in the past. Previously, when I left Maggie with a sitter for 3 days she didn’t eat and lost a pound, but with Heather she was just as I left her. I was delighted. Heather gets 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 🌟 I am free just about any time and duration, and can go anywhere that Tri-Met can take me if it's an hour or less travel time. I will take your dog to a park if it's within walking distance, or walk around the neighborhood, or play/run around in the yard or house as well.

About: I've been passionate about animal care ever since I started my first pet-sitting business at 15. I still remember my first clients: A family with an older cat and a family with two pomeranian puppies. While I love dogs and can take care of them, my specialty is feline friends! I absolutely love cats in all shapes, sizes, and personalities. About: Ever since I first rescued my first pitbull, I knew what my purpose was. It was to help that breed be more understood and to do what I can to make their lives better. That has moved on to now include all dogs. They are my everything and the world would be a less enjoyable place without them. I want to do what I can to make their lives better. I am available any day most times. I am here to make your life and your friends lives easier, safer, and instilling confidence that I will do whatever I can to make their lives wonderful. I am the main caregiver of our family, which consists of my current pitbull Wallace three kitties our newest, a male, orange tabby Ivan, a gray (blue) female named Vera and our oldest a 10 year-old mixed tabby named Clarabelle. I also take care of our five chickens which are white leg horns isotope, plutonium, uranium, atoll, and madame curie. We have a fully fenced backyard for Wallace and the chickens to all roam free. I built a $3000 chicken coop so they are living in luxury when they are roasting and laying. Wallace and all the kitties live indoors with us. I believe that based on where we live that the cats should remain indoors due to traffic and coyote concerns.

About: I enjoyed decades of loving and caring for my own dogs and cats, though their long, healthy lives. Through that I became familiar with medicating, training and creating happy lives for those lovable souls. My work on Rover hosting and house-sitting has been rewarding for the pet families I've supported, and for myself. I've hosted my neighbor's small older dog Marty for a week or long weekends and often assist my friend (a Star Sitter!) with walks and general attention/care when visiting them. My son's cats and hedgehog are happy to stay with me when they travel. My work is part-time, and I'm typically a home body. I'm generally open to distraction, the sort that I expect to encounter with pets, and the break from work routine is very welcome to me. I'm able and willing to let your pet wander my home and fenced back yard. As they like, I enjoy providing affection and head, back, belly rubs and scruffs. I'm happy to tune my hours to meet a unique feeding or meds schedule. If its suggested and allowed I'm also good to offer reasonably timed treats, and of course daily walks in my quiet neighborhood - a dog-friendly area adjacent to a green trail.
