About: To celebrate getting started on Rover, I'm offering a discounted introductory rate to my first 10 clients. The best part? This rate becomes your legacy rate... meaning it stays with you for all future bookings, as a thank-you for trusting me early and helping me build my reputation. So, if you're looking for a sitter who genuinely loves animals now is the perfect time to book! 🌟 A little more about me: If you took a peek at my phone’s photo album, you’d probably notice that about 97% of the pictures are of animals.. mostly my cat and my friends’ pets! I grew up surrounded by animals.. chickens, squirrels, birds, cats, dogs, and even horses to name a few.. so moving into the city and suddenly not having a whole animal crew around me was quite a shock. Not long after, I adopted two very cuddly cats while volunteering at a cat shelter. Since then, animals have continued to be a big part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality when we meet. When I care for your pets, my goal is simple: to give them the same attention, affection, and reliability that I would want for my own. I have experience with shy animals who need patience, energetic pets who love to play, and elderly companions who appreciate a slower pace and gentle care. You can always expect regular photo updates and messages while you're away so you can relax knowing how your pet is doing. I also make it a priority to respect your pet’s routine and help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in your absence. My hope is that you come home to happy, relaxed pets.. and complete peace of mind while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your animal companion! 🐾 I typically work 9a-5p Saturday-Tuesdays, with availability before or after those hours and open anytime Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. There's some flexibility with this schedule too so if there are needs outside what is listed please reach out and we can see if other hours would work too! When caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home, my priority is helping them feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I start by learning about each pet’s habits, personality, and needs... feeding schedules, exercise routines, favorite toys, medications if needed, and anything that helps them feel secure. Some pets want lots of playtime and stimulation, while others prefer calm companionship, and I adapt my care to what makes them happiest. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the space and the pet’s routine so things feel familiar while you’re away. For pets staying with me, I create a calm, cozy environment with plenty of attention, affection, and supervised play. I also believe communication is really important, so I send regular photo updates and messages so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is always for you to come home to a happy, relaxed pet who felt well cared for the entire time. 🐾

“Tanja was amazing! We scheduled a walk very last minute and she was very accommodating. She also somehow convinced our dog to walk in the rain, which is usually not her favorite. We’ll definitely be using Tanja again. Thank you!”

About: Hello, I would love to meet your pet. I have experience with cats and dogs, bunnies, birds, small animals, snakes, and some high maintenance animals like sugar gliders. I like to take dogs on walks, and am a calming influence. I am not trained with dogs that might be aggressive. I get along with most dogs and love to care for my dog niece. I'm currently working a flexible day job and parenting a 5 yr old. I am available in the late afternoons, weekends and possibly early mornings to stop by to feed or walk animals. Coming by to feed and play with animals and follow instructions provided. Taking dogs/cats on leashed walks around the neighborhood and making sure they have their poop cleaned up.
About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!
About: I've had dogs and cats for 9 years as well as taken care of friends pets for about 5 years as well. I enjoy going on runs and being active, so if your pup need some extra energy expended I'd be happy to run with them! My schedule is very open at the moment, so I can drop by or walk anytime most days. As early as 9am and until 9pm. I have a fenced backyard with a covered porch with water buckets for outside hydration. I have two dogs at home as well, so I can accommodate other friendly dogs at my home.
“Needed a dog walker for the first time ever and was nervous. Torri was great, even came over a week before to meet me and my dog. He was happy as a clam when I got home and it was comforting knowing he was in good hands.”

“Jenni is great. She has helped us get our high energy dog out for walks while we are at work. She is patient with our little pup, and he always seems happy on days they walk. She always takes great pictures of our dog, and is very communicative about what is going on with our dog. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Shannon is fantastic! She has been incredibly loving and patient with our reactive dog, Maddie. I really appreciate her flexibility and excellent communication. We’ll definitely be requesting Shannon’s services again as needed. I highly recommend her!”

About: I've been caring for pets for over 11 years and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities.
